Giant cacti soon started appear around the city, whenever someone tried to attack them, the needles launched out.

"Not alone you aren't." Jonothon said. "Listen wait for us. We have a greater chance together. She won't be alone. Apocalypse will have her allied with someone. And whoever it is will compliment her strengths and cover her weaknesses."

He said. "Why?" "Because... The Walt Crawler... Is her nephew Peter Parker." He said.

The rest of the X-Men caught up. And Peter was there not long afterward as well.

Venus was curious to see if Apocolypse could control Maddy. When Maddy got closer to her she tossed a seed at her and the seed sprouted to try to hold her. Maddy growled and went werewolf, breaking free of the seed.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Horror challenged. "ARGH!" His head was pushed in a little. "Because I want you to be as afraid as she was when she died. I want you to die slow, in pain, and afraid."

"Peter!" Jon yelled destroying the rocks. "Stop!"
