With Ben, Fate and Patrick, the resident monsters were mostly saved, and the village was no longer on fire
Meanwhile Nate was in the police station. The young boy hugged his stuffed shark. He couldn't understand why he couldn't stay with Aqua. He thought they were friends.
Aqua was taken a back as she frowned keeping her gaze away from him now. "I am not lieing....its true that this place is no home for a human child....its an aquarium not a house..." she spoke defending her answer. She was not going to tell him her other reasoning, he didn't have to know that was her own burden to live with.
"I guess that's true for most things....there is good and bad ones...." Emily replied. "This will be something to get use too...." she said more to herself as she leaned her cheek against her hand nibbling on a chip as she trailed off in thought.
"Okay...good" she whispered the last part just feeling secure he would be around leaning up and giving him a kiss on the cheek before he would leave her room.
He smiled and left after yhe kiss
Leonidss brought him some water and a sandwich
"Lies. Again." He said.
"Just wait till you try muggle desserts." He said
He stumbled back before melting through the boulder and evaperating
"Appreciate the idea Patrick but focus on Search and Rescue!" Heatblast said
Patrick groaned as he complied, helping Fate
"Why did my mom and dad leave me?" Nate asked, accepting the food and drink.
It wasn't long before they came across a group of mummies staggering towards them.
"They didn't want to kid." He said. "Sometimes bad things happen to good people. It's not fair but its true."
"Your going to find out who killed them?" He asked
"I promise to try." He said. "It's going to be jard adjusting without them. But it's not impossible. And the world hasn't ended. Even if it feels like it has.,
"When they'd take me to the aquarium, they'd ask the mermaid performers questions." Patrick said.
