Wisp emerged from her portal and hugged Eris as it closed behind her “hi Auntie Eris!” Wisp smiled
"Because when I was your age kids were grateful for what they got~" he replied smugly but cutely, patting her on the head.
"I know but... isn't Earth history more.... directly appicable to me?" She asked.
"My good, sweet, sweet, humble little blossom, you will see plenty of Earth history over the course of this semester. And if you indulge an old man in his ramblings, you'll get pizza parties!"
She arched her eyebrow. "You're weird. Not a bad weird. But still weird."
"I'll take it! Now, where were we? Right! Now the Glr'fhlurg'dfblndr star fleet spanned 50 rows of 100 flebd'r battleships and..." He went on, describing the war of Shlogl'moglonon, while he waved his hands through the air, recreating images of the alien forces that fought across the land. The reenactment was awesome.
She didn't get most of it.
