Makoto scratched his head "But now I'm here to help people. And hunting criminals through more legal methods. I just become a prosecutor and just need to report to my new mentor Mr. Ornstein. He said he's got a couple of good trials for me to learn from. NOW LET'S REVERSE THIS PLAGUE!" Makoto shouted

Her and Hunter did end the family business but her family were still criminals, they broke the law on multiple times. She even had broken some laws during her time with them.
