At least they've only deforested what was necessary - there's still trees standing within the compound itself.

They aren't exactly expecting any intruders to come from behind their lines, so Link easily gets by them without being detected.

The security center is a hexagon shaped building, with an aircraft control tower connected to the main building by a enclosed walkway. The doors into the security center thankfully aren't locked.

It's strangely convenient how all these maps are positioned basically everywhere. Your worries are assuaded when one of the mercs guarding the security center forgets that he's holding his gun. It does seem that some people really are idiots.
