"Um...well..." Shoot! She had to think up something quick. She could not take him home her auntie hated un welcome visitors and it would be disastrous if she found out Kaleb had abilities. "Well because my sister is at work and she dosnt like me being at home in the apartment on my own" she said
"Uh-huh..." He said. "Do your parents suck too?"
She got a call from Jackson.

"No...no ...its actually my auntie...she" she says avoiding to say she sucks "she really dosnt like me bring others home...im sorry.." she said "wait?...you don't like your parents?...why?..." she asked
"Drug addicts. Sex devients. Alcoholics. I've got a long list of things that suck about them." He said. "They treat me like crap."

Eliana was in shock as he told her, she would have never thought he would tell her this. She was also in shock to learn such things about his parents, how could parents be so horrable ot was hard to believe. His parents made her problems living with her great aunt no problem, it made her auntie sound like an angel. "Kaleb in sorry..." she said unsure what to respond to what she had just found out. As he was sitting she gave him a hug around his shoulders. She hoped he woukd not get mad but she knew if it was her she would like a hug if she was in his shoes

He looked at her. "Okay... So this is weird." He said.
"I know. People can be stupid amd do stupid things. They do what best suits them. But there are plenty of us who don't. Who try to make things better. I promise"
Eliana gave the hug a squeeze before he looked at her. She slowly let go of the hug as he looked at her. "Um...sorry...I guess I really should have asked...right..." she said standing back up stright. "I'm sorry Kaleb...you just..I figure you could have used a hug" she said
"I didn't mind. It was just unexpected. Aquaintsnces don't really hug me."
"Oh well I think we're more friends at this point" she said with out thinking, then her eyes go wide as she catches herself. "...Wait I mean...well we can be...you just told me about your parents...I figure you only tell such things to someone to like and trust like a friend..." she said messing with a strand of her hair. "But really...its just a thought an.... observation...we don't have to be if you don't want to...acquaintances is fine..."
He looked at her. "nah I like you." he said.
"Well I can show you my experience. I am telepathic. You can see the things I've done good and bad. I've done much to make up for the bad things I have done. And I firmly believe that if I was able to change then others can too."
Eliana smiles, it was a bit strange for her to befriend someone like him but really he seems like a good person no matter what others say. "okay then...so you still okay with hanging out even if we don't go to my place?" she asked.
"I guess." He said.
The classroom had cleared out and it had just been them for a while. "come on...we can go have some pizza" she said walking back to her desk to collect her things.
He nodded. "Pizza it is."
"great you're going to love this place, the pizza is amazing!" she said excitedly as they walked out of the school.
