The Wordsmith Myth
A Story Teller
Six days would pass and the world seemed to fall silent and the news spread. Everyone tried to keep living as they could despite what happened. Everyone coped in their own way. Sam put even more work into understanding and hopefully being able to hand his new power. Jackson spent almost all of his time in his studio writing or recording. Sans was sleeping even more than usual. Ben had doubled down his hero work hardly ever returning always out on patrol as some speedy alien. Scout however was hardly ever seen outside his room. When anyone saw him it was to get drunk or to go on a hero mission solo. He never stopped anyone from coming into his room but he never really engaged in conversation.
On the sixth day Professor X rather than Tony (who was now busy with Technovore and getting chewed out by fury) was on the news. Across the world people tuned in to hear what he had to say.
"Six days ago the world was faced with a great tragedy." Xavier said, "Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man was shot and killed during his own wedding celebration. It is known that his killer was hired by the mob boss Wilson Fisk who's whereabouts are currently unknown. But that's not the point here. Peter Parker died the way he lived. Thinking that he could have done more for us. Been better, for us. He was constantly motivated by the idea that he could challenge himself to be better. To be stronger. To be a better hero. So, to honor his memory we must do the same ourselves. He was never satisfied with the status quo and neither should we be. I implore you to set aside differences and try to make his death mean something. I challenge all of us mutants and humans alike... To be better. Thank you." LumaThePhoenix Dragunov Musicnotes
