Scout looked at Maddy and at Joey. He sighed. He imagined where this was going. (Even if he was wrong) and went back to his room.

Whatever, uh, the head is soaked with saltwater, which means whoever killed him and brought his head here swam through the ocean to get it here, but that doesn’t make sense because why would you risk bringing a disembodied head into the ocean when you could just take a boat?”

Step 5: Accept whatever results may come.

(Welcome to roleplaying where things may not be in your favor. I started a Waterdeep campaign in DND with the intention of my Ranger to get rich and open a library.
