While they were distracted the demon jymped pulling out his own weapons, getting ready to stab both Eris and joey through the chest

"Indeed" she replied as her appearance began to return to normal human and her sword vanished again

"How come you don't just beat up your dad so that he stops trying to force you to go through with that nonsense?" She asks. "Come and eat with us. Joey makes great food of all kinds." Eris then looks at Joey. "Right, chef? I can't wait to tell Maddy about this. She's gonna be so happy to see you again."
