Vanessa looked at the cops and then at her surroundings, having a confused look on her face like she had no clue what was going on. Meanwhile, she was laughing inside her mind.

Vanessa shook her head in disappointment as she watches the cops take the thief away. That's all he gets!? A tackle and some handcuffs!? That won't stop him from trying it again. She pulled out her dagger and rushed towards the cops. With a ruthless swing, she sliced open the thief's hands and then immediately vanished so she can have time to conceal her dagger and run back to where she originally was.
