Eris answered the phone and sounded drunk.Maddy calls Eris, she wasn't calling from her phone so Eris might not recognize the number.LumaThePhoenix
"Its me Maddy. I switched phones with oz... Look I just want you to know Peter isn't dead." She said.
"Sorry." She said as she put him down.
Zadock began to cast a spell to Target and restrain the Kala that he was facing while her opponent would attack Kala in whatever way they normally would.
A fire ball got tossed at Kala, she makes a shield.
"Heeeyyyyyyyy Maddy! That's great neeeewwwws! Tell him I said hiiiiiiiii!" Eris said as another gunshot is fired.
"I will if he calls..." She hears the gun shots. "Be careful. I'm not home so I can't heal you if you get hurt"
"I'll be fiiiiine." She responds and then giggles. "I've been shot before."
"Warning, terminal velocity detected, deploying parachute." The suit said as it deployed a parachute
Peter eventually is able to slow his descent with a web parachute
Peter landed safely thanks to the parachute. "Yay."
"Okay see ya" she said and hung up
A few hours later she saw someone running through the forest. More accurately jumping from branch to branch. It was Peter. He hadn't noticed her.
"Hey peter" she smiled, walking past a tree.
"Huh?" He grabbed the branch he was in and swing upside down sticking to the underside of it. "Maddy!" He dropped down to the ground landing on his hands and then using them to jump to his feet.
She hugs him tightly. "I'm glad you're okay"
He looked down. "At the risk of repeating the same joke. You look like someone's just come back to life." He jested returning the hug. "Sorry I'm not Joey. Probably would have liked to see him too. He's a lot more willing to go off fhe grid. Good news though. After this is over he gets to come home. Fury got a full pardon."
"That's good." She smiled
Peter yawned. "Anyway. I'm currently on the run from the law so I can't go to any populated place." He said.
"Link has a tree house. I stayed there last night." She said
"Hm..." Peter said. His Spider-Sense tingled and he looked at a shadow in a tree. He grabbed Maddy's hand and started running
"What did you sense?" She asked running.
"Something in the shadows." Peter replied.
She nods. "Okay"
He stopped running when they we're a few miles away. He had practically dragged her three miles in the last 2 minutes.
