The door opened as Joey stood there with a flamethrower. He was covered in blood as soldiers stood behind him "Matte." He said to one who translated to the rest. "You came just in time." Some of the soldiers were eating what appeared to be a burned Pacifican. "Apparently, they're pretty tasty." Joey said with a smirk. "So... we ain't dying today?"

She throws her shield to one of the thugs, and smacks his face. Then, she sweeps the spear at one of the thugs legs, and he falls down. The rest start shooting at her, and she uses her protective veil. She runs to her shield and picks it up and starts blocking the bullets.

The shots just bounce off of Kaleb. He draws power from the light energy he absorbed and begins to move at a mind boggling Speed.
