(Basically energy from your soul that can be converted into many things. It's very malleable, meaning you can use it to make your own powers. Some use it to open portals, others use it to stretch or summon lightning, teleportation, etc. You just need training. With proper training, one could pull of a hadouken. In the end, it's something I made up myself.)

(Technically it's more so energy that can be converted into powers... so you're right... sorta. Think of it more like stamina instead of ki energy. And that stamina can be used for various different powers if one is willing to put the time in to train.)
