The judge let everyone get in and sit down. "Alright. The case of Scout is returned." The prosecution took Scout to the witness stand. "Will you please state your name for the court?" "Scout." Scout replied. "Please state your full name." The man said. "Uh... Scout. Sorry don' know my last name." Scout said.

"You are 23 correct?" The prosecutor said. "Yeah about dat age." Scout said. "About?"

"I'll be honest... As far as my history goes. I don't know much, didn't know my dad, or my last name, or much of anythin' about my background... Honestly not sure if I even have a birthday certificate." Scout said honestly. "You do realize you are under oath sir?"

"Oh yeah 100%... And I swear I'm not lyin'."

"So your mother can confirm your story?"

"Yeah... Well actually no. She's dead." Scout said.

"Yes..." Scout said. "Yes I did. I hurt her. I hurt my friends... I sold her off, put her and her kid in a position where dey could have died... I don' deny havin' done these things..."
