"Nyx captured us...she took out my eye.." Maddy took off the eyepatch and handed it back to joey, she then quickly covered the eye socket with her hand. "I'm gonna go get cleaned up and work on this" she headed upstairs.

(Normally I'd say yes but in comics it shows that Peter looks more like an ape but the his instincts reflect that of a spider. In fact he used to regularly have to use gene therapy because his spider mutation was making him so spider like that it changed his physical appearance)
