(I think your putting too much stock in a roleplay that is mostly silly and trying too hard to take it seriously. Like yeah we have serious moments but it's a pretty silly roleplay.)

Oracle had been neglected for quite a while. Although she had calmed down, she hadn’t been released. At some point, they straight up stopped attending to her. Eventually, as expected, she succumbed to malnutrition and dehydration. The soul that had entered the body that wasn’t hers was sent away elsewhere, and the magic that had made the corpse livable in melted away, leaving the body in nearly the exact state it had been in after its first owner perished. A stench of death could be smelled near the rooms.

(You’ve made it clear that Hayden isn’t fully trusting of Oracle before. Why don’t you do a flashback or something so my post about her death makes some sense? You could play it as him believing he’s doing the right thing even if it’s not necessarily the right thing to the rest of the heroes.)

(Fair enough.) A wavy ripple appears flashing back into the power swap. Hayden was sitting next to Oracle. "I know what I'm doing is wrong... at least to you but I am doing it for the right reason...I can't be having you attacking innocent heroes. Maybe learn that powers aren't needed to live a peaceful life. I don't want to do this but until we get something figured out, I can't let you free.. Understand?"
