Arkalas takes the hits and continues to slowly ascend as a large part of the ground lights up. Tyson looks down.
"You know, history tells me to avoid areas that light up when dealing with Arkalas. Clear out!" He shouts as he takes flight and lands outside of the brightening area.

Eris sees the ground lighting up and Lazarus backs them away from it.

John flew into the sky to avoid the glowing ground, Rex jumped shrinking into a dimorphadon in the process and flapping away from danger. Sol threw a small ball of thunder at the demon.

But he absolutely will notice a person who for one hour each day will have the most absolute rotten one hour he's ever seen before. The medic being a rather unconventional doctor/scientist would not rule out luck as an important factor considering that he would see luck more as "a force of nature" that he could experiment with rather than just random chance. So it wouldn't take him long to hypothesise the possibility of that one hour of rotten as a trade off for 23 hours of great luck if it's happening consistently)

(Look no one can find her in these 23 hours she basically disappears. You really don't think someone will notice the one hour she can be seen when she's consistently disappearing? The whole point of Medic is exactly that. Noticing things that seem stupid, or unimportant, or that seem to not be strange at all. He removed an entire skeleton from the skull right down to the last pinkie toe. And the patient came out the other side completely unhurt. His brain was undamaged. His nerves we're undamaged. Every single organ, nerve, and cell was completely in tact and healthy. The guy just didn't have a skeleton. And his way of one upping that was to create a actual on demand (albeit temporary) invincibility)

(Okay I understand that power scaling thing more now but apparently I'm still kissing something because that sounds completely like it's too much for 23 hours she can basically screw over whoever she wants without consequence... And the actual literal balance for that is. For one hour she's as lucky as anyone else and is Rich enough that she still doesn't have to deal with any bad thing that comes from her actions... Yes....
