"Not only was he doing something too strenuous for the human body, but learning ancient Gallifreyan is too difficult for the human body. To know the language is to see time unravel. The healing would only slow down the damage and give Dru the time to look at Allyson and lift a weak hand towards her and speak in French "help restore me." Before he passed out his pulse slowing.
