The note had been left behind by Medic.

Joey I had other business to attend to I decided to leave this note. Maddy will be fine. Her bodily functions have returned to normal and she will make a full physical recovery. Mentally things are more complicated. I believe that pretty much everyone in this house and people related to it probably suffer some form of PTSD. Reliving traumatic experiences can cause major issues for people with said disorder. For the next few weeks she will often suffer nightmares, mood swings, and possible depression. I have given her sleeping medication to allow her to get restful sleep without dreams. However, she needs the support of her friends and you especially. You are quite angry with me and I do not blame you. While things went far worse than I meant them too, I had good intentions, but it was my actions that led to this. Still, know that if you ever are in need of my abilities I will drop whatever I am working on. Unless I'm in surgery, in which case I'll be around as soon as I can. That said I will not bother you or Maddy again if you do not wish to have me around. So have a good life, and keep your friends safe.

P.S. Scout escaped from Jeremy somehow. We don't think he plans to cause trouble but me and the others of us are looking for him. Stay well.
