Fate was at her locker, she was wearing a band T-shirt with her purple jacket tied around her waist, her hair was a lot shorter. "Karma!" Someone called, she turned. "Oh hey Danny" a strong looking jock in a football varsity jacket came over. "You coming to the game tonight?" She looked back at her locker, grabbing a text book. "Can't, I'm helping out Allan Parker over at the research center." The jock frowned. "Why you helping out that robotic arm nerd? The team needs you, everyone knows you are somehow lucky." Fate turned to him. "He may be a nerd but he just wants to make the world a better place. I'm not lucky so just leave me alone." By this point a few other jocks came up to her. "Yeah you are, people sitting by you in class axe their tests if they normally are horrible, your dad won a couple thousand off of a scratch off and last summer you made it out of that car accident without a scratch. So don't deny it."

Sage smiled. "No prob Kay, I know you hate when people do that. Class is going to start." The memory ended.

"Welcome to Kay's mind." The rocker girl stepped into view.

The next memory, Karma and Sage were in a lab. Sitting at one of the computers was Allan. "Go away guys im working." Sage laughed. "Come on dude you can't push us away. Are you done with that portal gun?" He nods. "Yeah its over by the blasters." He points to a spot where all the weapons looked the same. "I found this book at the old book store. It shows how to make a regular rock hold energy" karma went over and looked at the book."a spell book? Your going to mess with magic? Shouldn't you stick with tech?"
Allan smiled. "Magic is just something science can't explain. What if I make this and it can store energy like a battery! Maybe we can finally explain your luck powers." Karma frowned. "I know what I can do, why me I have no clue." Sage sat on a desk that was covered in lab equipment. "Its so you can be a hero. It would be so cool!"

"Sage always thought Kay could be a hero. Allan didn't really care about heroes." The subconscious said.

Oz nods. "This was how the stone Fate was looking for came to be"

"I said no animals in the lab." Karma chuckled. "You called while we were walking, she has to follow me. " karma walked over and grabbed the rock,it glowed brighter in her hand. "This feels..strange.."

" I did it and as I was working on this,i t seems like it could boost your powers." Sage smiled. "Do it karma. " karma stood there with Indigo by her feet. Allan frowned. Alexis, wore cargo pants and a tank top, her one arm covered in tattoos and the metal one in full display. "Allan you need to figure a way to fix your mistake." Allan was already working on something. "I am. The stone fractured, since it was hit by my portal gun it appears to have gone into other dimensions. I'll make something so that we can send someone to get them" Karma's hands glowed making little charms appear. "Guys..send me. " a wizard looking hero spoke. "Too dangerous, the stone changed your powers,you don't know the extent of it. You are the embodiment of good luck after all" Karma frowned. "The stone may have increased my powers but I can figure out how to use it. Let me become someone..let me be a hero"

The memory changed, karma was putting on her costume for the first time. Alexis smiled as she held a notebook with the sketch of the costume. "Your friend did a good job. So what are you going to call yourself? Lucky girl? " she shook her head putting the hood up. "I'm starting to like Fate"
