(The book is more of a front, to get these five champions into the real world, they however will really fight on the front of whoever summons them due to a curse on the book. Unless of course the summoner doesn’t have an order then they just get to hang out until they want to go back)
" wow.those guys are mean." Fate said. Oz nods. "Standard school bullies."
"Can I break their necks?" Eris asks.
"No" Oz said.
"Peter is good friends with Flash now. And this is a memory you can't do anything to change it." Mary Jane said. Later in the day it showed Peter getting beat up by Flash.
"Pleeeeaaaase?" Eris replies.
"no because it is a memory. If you want to do it when we are done, I can create an illusion for you to fight " Oz said
(It’s in the bookstore, the one that won’t stop hopping).
"Fiiiine." Eris says as she pouts.
The book keep looked at the hopping book. “Well I don’t know if any of my books are magic, but do you see that wiggling one over there. It’s either magic or I’m crazy.
In the next memory they were at some kind of science expo. It talked about radiation and genetic splicing. While giving a demonstration of radiation Ben noticed something. "Look." He pointed to the tiny Spider that descended through radiation.
"Eh, I can ask a friend on how to make magic, how much for it?" Shade asked with interest
"And that's how the spider got radiated. Now it just has to bite Peter" Fate said.
Eris nods. "So far so good I guess."
The book keep rubbed his chin. A hard back like that could go for about twenty, but the wiggling was freaking him out, and he'd got it from a creepy garage sale "Y'know what, ten bucks" he said.
Peter was looking at. "Radiation is awesome. I wonder if- OW!" He slapped his hand the Spider went flying off of it. "What was that?" He asked. He looked at it. "A Spider. It's brown recluse. The bite shouldn't be too-" Peter began to vomit all over the floor.
He gives him ten dollars, he went outside. "Now what's see what you can do," he opens the first page and does what it says.
Fate keeps watching. "Okay is there more to this or will we be seeing a new memory..hopefully we won't have to fight anything."
"You already know about his powers." She said. "Well then we'll skip the next few memories.
As he opened the book the first few pages had a list of characters.
"Hopefully that will get us to Peter faster." Eris states.
"We're going to see what happened to his uncle arnt we." Fate said
