Fate was sitting on the ground, in her own thought mostly as she waited.
Ben looked at her. "Hey Diana." He said. "What's up?"
" not much. " she smiled. "What's up with you?"
Ben looked at Fate. "Idiotic feelings that I can't control." He said with a sigh.
"Is it about Fate?" She asked.
"...Yeah. It's just. One day she's gonna go home and I'll never see her again. But, I can't get these stupid feelings in check." He said.
" But I'm not am I? I was stronger and now I'm weaker, cursed to be so. It's hard to find a positive in all of this."
" But I was useful, and I didn't have to deal with most of this crap but here I am now."
"You don't know that, she cares about you. She may hide things from us but she can't hide that." Diana said.
"Its only a curse because you see it so. Take this as an opportunity to see things from a different point of view. You can get stronger if you want to be stronger just like the rest of us." Allyson smiled.
'Doesn't matter. She's gonna go home one day." Ben said. "I just hope she finds a good guy on her world. I'll live." He said.
"Have you thought maybe she might stay here?" She asked.
"Why would she? Her mission's more important than I am." Ben said.
"Maybe when her mission is over, she will stay here" she said
