The Aetherians were powerhungry barbarians, using the Aetherius as their homeland, as well as their area to capture their beasts, to be used in battle. The Source of Koh was an orb, containing a very powerful energy, which grants the user the ability to preform almost God-like things..." She took a breath and continued "The Aetherians came to know about this power and raged war against the Kohraels, overpowering them quickly and taking the Source from themselves, however, they began using it against each other, causing the downfall of their species, the Source broke and recreated itsself as an orb, losing it's power shortly afterward, waiting to be awakened again by a worthy individual" she looked around "To give you an example, old tales of this world talk about a 'philosopher stone', that was merely a shard of the original Source of Koh..."

So the thingy ran out of power or something and they need someone to act as the energizer bunny and restore it right? Hmm... And this shard, the thingy stone, is lost or someone has it. Or is it like, in someone? That why they took Zachary? He's the energizer bunny, so to speak?"

(Figured it'd be a little overkill if I actually created an in depth, detailed history, and the fact that I'm not really a history fanatic doesn't help either (I'm a born chemist, son ))


"The orb is in posession of the Order, they want the younger brother for one reason or another, and don't seem to mind trading the orb for him." the woman said as she looked up "The philosopher stone is lost as far as I know... As one of the Kohraels, I do not know how the ritual is preformed, it doesn't include a sacrifice, as far as I know, however, what I do know is that the ritual can only be preformed once every 1000 years, under the influence of an aetherial shift, where this world and the aether overlap."

"Well shit, then we need to get going. Now do I get to this world, realm, whatever. I said I would get Zachary and kill this Arcer cockbite and I'm going to do just that" Kage said, looking at the ghost expectantly.


Waspinator dug her heels in and stopped right in front of Kimoru, Jing still in her arms. "Sorry brother, just saw this huge fight and stuff, then this itsy bitsy out there bleeding and Waspinator had to help her" She said, her voice synthesized in the form.

Kimoru sighs "at least it was important.... not like last times 'but a baby giggled at me' incedent..."


 
"Let me look at her" Kimoru says holding his hands out

"Child of shadows, I strongly advise searching allies before going head first into the Aetherus, the shift takes place 5 days from now..." she says, waiting for Kage's answer

Kage crossed her arms. "But... But... Oh wait, there's actually a ton of people that would help! My shadow just decided to do her own thing, like the little shit she is, but cant you help too?" She asked.


"Hey, babies are adorable." Said the fecking 9 ft tall metal person that looked ready to kill anything. She looked down at Jing, "Are you sure? Waspinator means you might scare her when she wakes up"

"No, I am only here to guide the Chosen ones, the ones who would be able to bring peace to the restless souls of the Kohraels" she said, sighing quietly

 

[VanRIPPED]

"Okay, well looks like I'll be off then. I really think I'll be fine on my own, like a spy or something. Besides, wouldnt it be easy just to shoot him in th head and call it good? I can do that well enough" She said.

"In the Aetherus, all people who use it's power are at their strongest, you'll need allies to defeat him, even the more powerfull creatures lurking there can pose a significant threat." she said, her voice a little motherly, like she was trying to make sure Kage would be safe on this endeavour

"I have, I have Blitzwing! And Blitz! Blitzwing is a huge ass dragon, he could kill anything in there. So if I get other people and a giant ass dragon then we will totally win right? Like, right?" Kage asked, getting excited. "Plus we have a healer, the Moth. Oh its so awesome!"

"And a mechanical machine won't?" Says kimoru. "He takes Kimoru and creates a solid shadow bed and lays her on it.

 

[VanRIPPED]

"Waspinator not a machine! Waspinator human too! Waspinator likes Waspinator form better than human form" Waspinator growled, crossing her arms. "Waspinator not machine..." She muttered.


(Okay, so she only talks in third person only in the Waspinator form)

"Ok... just go to human for when she wakes up..." kimoru says " she is about to anyway...."

"Waspinator cant wait to introduce herself to itsy bitsy!" Her wings twitched in excitement. "Hope isty bitsy doesnt try to hurt Waspinator like everyone else does. Waspinator's form seems to scare others, Waspinator doesnt know why" She shrugged, not even listening to Kimoru.

As soon as Jing woke up the first thing she said was "ZACH!!!"

Waspinator tilted her head, Zach? She had only watched the fight winding down so she had no idea what happened really. "Calm down itsy bitsy, Waspinator got you out of the battlefield when you were hurt. Waspinator bring you to Waspinator's brother, Kimoru, who healed you" She explained.
