Alice, meanwhile, was just waking up. She sat up and stretched out, realizing why the old saying: "Never go to bed angry" Existed. She didn't feel quite right. and for some reason, it almost felt like something was watching her. She looked around, trying to pinpoint where it was coming from, then her eyes settled on the window.


"Lydia, is that you?" She asked, confused. Lydia didn't look right. It reminded her a little of Kage's shadows. But why would that be? Unless Kage was playing a trick...


Alexander, meanwhile. Was soundly asleep and would remain that way until someone came to wake him from his slumber. He was NOT in any way shape or form much of a morning person.

"Not exactly." she said lifting the window. She flew in to reveal herself. She completely black like a shadow except for her bright white eyes. "Im looking for a little somthing to do. "

 

[Hel]

"Are... you one of Kage's shadows?" She asks, clearly confused. She was still sleepy and didn't really know where this copy of the girl she had met the day before came from.

"Um no.Im Lydias shadow. I took over and almost died yada yada yada. Im just bored and need somthing to do that wont draw to much attention." She looked at the clock. it was about 5:00am.

 

[Hel]

"Ooh," She said, yawning. "Well... I don't know that you'll find much here that interesting unless it draws attention to yourself... Do you eat? We could get breakfast... or... I still need to go see who my mentor is going to be. Hmm. Well, you're welcome to stick around with me if you'd like. I don't really want any trouble." Her voice was quiet, and but solid. In the way that it wouldn't take very much noise to overpower her voice, but she clearly was not hesitant in speech. She was not very chatty without her safety blanket (Alex) Around.

Shadow Lydia frowned."How are people supposed to have fun if theyre always avoiding trouble!" she crossed her arms.

 

[Hel]

"Well... I mean, I don't always avoid trouble. I usually follow my brother around, and he is like a magnet for trouble." Alice said. "But you're the one who said you were trying to lay low. You can't lay low and get into trouble. Trouble means attention." She said, rubbing the sleep out of one of her eyes, then pushing her hair back from her face. It, of course, fell right back into it's place over her eyes.

"Humph" Shadow Lydia hoverd about 3feet above the ground sitting indian styl with her elbow on her knee and her chin resting on her fist.She sighed.

Zachary barely managed to catch Kage. As the shadow finished it's lightning assault Zachary got up, he split the light ball in tinier ones, which then spreaded. He then carved a rune on the ground, having a summon would help them alot, he thought.

Kage nodded to Zachary then looked around, "The hell did it go..." She wondered mostly to herself. Behind the two, Zero appeared and slammed both Kage and Zachary's heads into each other with so much force Kage got dizzy. Zero noticed the shadow come toward him though with the shadow-mancer recovering it was weaker. Zero hissed, spitting acid at the shadow in which it barely did effect. Zero ducked under its flaming fist and stepped forward and slammed his elbow into the shadow's back, making it stumble forward. Zero was targeting the two humans at once, after he stumbled the shadow he jumped at Zachary and grabbed his shoulder and bit into his shoulder. Kage shook her head and blinked a few times, now having a throbbing feeling in her head but tried focusing on the shadow and it dashed at Zero, electricity teeming through its hands, and grabbed Zero's head and put volts into the reptilian being. Zero hissed, jumping away from Zachary and shoved the shadow away from him, staggering.

Zachary was bleeding pretty badly, his shoulder was not broken however, so he would still be able to fight. He frowned as he charged the lizard, each step crumbled the ground and bits came loose to form the familliar stone armor around him, he stopped right before the lizard before he slammed his right hand up against the head of the lizard, he then jabbed in the stomach of the unknown creature with his other hand, sending it back a fair bit. Zachary started panting as he held out his hand toward the shadow, engulfing it in fire, strengthening it in the process.

Zero growled in pain, coughing up acid as he was hit. His jaw was misplaced from the hit and stomach hurt so badly he though his own acid had acted against him from the inside. He was now breathing heavy, being hit with a stone fist hurt. The shadow turned, dashing at Zero and raised his fist though Zero blocked. This didnt stop it as it turned and slammed its heel into Zero's side, finishing off its turn with another kick to Zero's head, his head snapping to the side. On the sidelines Kage had been controlling the shadow manually now, having to do all the moves herself to make the shadow faster. Zero hissed, backing up as the shadow kicked upwards at his jaw, foot flat. Zero didnt get hit but the shadow turned again and did an ax kick down and slammed its heel into Zero's head. Zero snarled, holding his head. Kage smirked, "Eat it!" She exclaimed, balling her right fist and the shadow did the same except the flame covering it charged all on the fist and let an explosive uppercut to Zero's jaw, throwing the reptilian being back. "Hell yea!" Kage jumped up and down.

"You messed with the wrong people!" he jumped up and slammed on Zero's back, throwing it into the ground with a loud smack. Zachary landed at Kage's side "Keep your guard up for now, that... thing is more durable than a normal human." he couldn't hide his smirk though, even under the stone helmet.

Zero didnt move, his eyes closed. "Looks like we knocked it out, damn this thing is scary lookin'! Ya think your bro had somethin' to do with this guy too?" Kage asked, walking forward and jabbed Zero in the side with her foot. The reptilian being disappeared, and Kage jumped back. "I hate that it has that!" She exclaimed, looking around.

As their petty squabbles continued a new mentor watched from the shadows, wondering what poor soul would be matched with him.


 
Masks chuckles "they are all great.... ly undertrained.... what are they teaching them...."

Shadow Lydia blended into the shadows and krept out into the hall looking for someone to play tricks on."Hmmmm."All you could see was her white eyes.If anyone walked pst she wouldclose her eyes. "Gotta find omeone...."

Alice had found Alex before coming back out here, he was still a little upset about the night before, but he'd get over it. They trained together, both decent at swordplay, but nothing else. Alex was clearly the better offensive fighter, while Alice kept teleporting around avoiding blows and striking out, she was better at defense. However the fight was fairly pointless, as they both knew each other far too well

Shadow Kage had been watching her dog's progress, and by dog she meant Shadow Lydia. She was always near her, watching with interest. If Lydia was so easy to trick into letting her shadow out then it would be easy enough to convince everyone else! She snickered to herself, watching as all Shadow Lydia wished to do was play petty tricks. "Oh sweetheart you need some ambition or you'll be confused for your master. Or I should say the person you overtook" She said, hanging upside down from the ceiling and had her arms crossed and looking at Shadow Lydia. "And you are an individual arent you? You arent Lydia, your Shadow Lydia, an improvement! Act like it dear and you'll come to be just as powerful as I" (@yjSidekick )

"Im...powerful! Im more powerful then Lydia was! What are we shadows supposed to do?" Shadow Lydia was softer in violence then shadow kage. Deep down she had part of Lydias personality but only a small small part.She tried to act bigger and tougher like shadow kage but in the end she wasnt as cruel and violent as shadow kage."Wait where exactly did Lydia go?"

Shadow Kage sighed, shaking her head. "You arent her shadow, your her. You are soft, petty and you worry about Lydia. I convinced her to drag you out of that mind of hers so you can prove to me you had potential. Now you have proved your all bark and no bite!" She snapped. She did know the other guy was there, and ignored it. He wasnt worth the time she had to roll her eyes.
