Ohhh, that makes a lot of sense now!
Man Sephiroth was also damned from the start now wasn't he? Seems like most of the villains from this RP got that in common at least.

Hojo’s and Lucretia are more developed as lore in Dirge of Cerberus. Eh, it’s a glimpse of Vincent Valentine’s life as a Turk and the betrayal by Hojo..

Oh! You meet Lucrecia all cryogenic asleep in that mako crystal in the original if you have Vincent in your party. She tells you that Seph is hers and Hojo’s son.

I believe Agahnim was evil from the get-go, if we go by game lore, especially since he is an alter ego of Ganon. But there definitely has to be a reason why he would bother with this sickly boy. Stefan was already gifted in magic, and I’m sure Ganon would have been aware of the Legend of the Night Dragon.
I personally like to think that Ganondorf/Agahnim didn't start off as evil. I think in Ganondorf's case, he actually DID have altruistic reasons for applying to be the royal advisor, believing his involvment could improve the relations between the Gerudo and the Hylians in time but at some point in time, Demise's influence took over him and what started out as a desire to help his people by being a service to the kingdom, turned into him disregarding his people and taking over Hyrule for himself. Agahnim could've been in a similar boat, basically a poetic irony of sorts. Where at the beginning, Agahnim was a benevolent and respectabel man, would later slowly but surely become the new bastion of evil in Ganon's stead. So I'd like tot hink that Agahnim simply took Stefan under his wing cause he genuinley cared about his well-being at one point. But bro was on some Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type shiz. Both Ganon and Agahnim are unaware of them being reincarnations of Demon Kings, meaning now matter how much good they did, they were sworn to evil upon their inception.
(I wonder if Stefan would blame himself for what had happened to Agahnim 🤔 . I mean imaginging going from this to THAT with little explanaition other than him catching the goat flu lol)

Yep :( they need hugs
Honestly!
To add onto the sadness, Cia canonically dies of regret at the end of the OG Hyrule Warriors. After she is defeated, Lana goes to comfort her and cradles her in her arms. Cia confesses her regret as she realized that she had been used by Ganon, and how Lana had been right all along, before fading from existence in Lana's arms, leaving her the Triforce she had.

Of course, I don't know If Cia actually meant a word of what she said, and that variable is why Cia's gonna be evil again in this RP 😈

Stefan has been sickly from birth, so he wouldn’t blame himself for Agahnim’s madness. In fact, he’d hold nothing but hatred toward him, and may have bitterness toward Link for “robbing” him of his vengeance!

Shroomie Shroomie With Pit’s robot girlfriend thing, it’d be kind of funny if Ada briefly mentions a wish of finding a handsome angel whose arrow will pierce her heart! XD And it’s never brought up again!

I don’t have much to add to the Agahnim
discussion but in the manga adaptation if I remember right he was a separate person from Ganon, though it’s been a while since I read through so I can’t remember the specifics of the whole situation 😅

Agahnim was the king’s advisor after he “saved” Hyrule with his magic, then corrupted the Hyrulean government and military after some time. I don’t think it was ever established how long Agahnim was part of the Royal Court, so he could’ve been there for a few months prior to the events of ALttP, to a few years.

Agahnim was revealed to be an alter ego for Ganon, and Ganon is known for twisting people. >; D

Though imagine poor Little Zelda being hurt and confused when her favorite tutor started turning cold toward her, and catching glimpses of injuries that Agahnim had inflicted on Stefan. The fact that Stefan is already frail and sickly, and uses crutches to a wheelchair makes this more nightmarish!
Chsjdkdkfk wow that got dark 😱 and gosh, first Zelda had to stand there and watch as Agahnim manipulates and burrows his way into the royal court, and then she has to watch a trusted adult in her life get hurt without her being able to do anything about it.

Yea, i think initially Agahnim was just described as a "minion" of Ganon. Probably his Second-in-Command or soemthing to that effect who took the reigns after he was sealed (that or he was being puppeted/influenced by Ganon). Then the devil were like "Screw it, let's have Agahnim actually be directly connected to Ganon", you know, for the status quo lol

The manga adaptations of the LoZ games really like to take liberties with the story. In the Himekawa manga, Agahnim was a separate character from Ganon. He was eventually successful in reviving Ganon, but Ganon had no intention of sharing his power and destroyed him. In the game, Agahnim was a disguised Ganon who tricked his way into becoming a member of the Royal Court so he can capture the Seven Maidens, get rid of the king and take control of the Hyrulean army, and eventually break the Seal of the Sages so he can be fully restored.

For more nightmare fuel, what if Stefan had a different mentor until Agahnim arrived in Hyrule Castle? Agahnim tells Stefan flat out that he will be continuing his education in the arcane arts under his instruction from now on, and Stefan never sees or hears from his old mentor again. On that day, Stefan's life became absolute hell.

When Agahnim found the Mask of the Night Dragon in Stefan's possession, he knew right then and there who (or what 😉) Stefan is!

Dhsjfjfi So funny story about that, way back when I was first trying to learn about the plot of Alttp to prep for rping Zelda, I made the mistake of going “Eh, screw it I’ll just read the manga” and didn’t actually play the game for a decent while. It was only when the topic of Agahnim came up in the ooc that I actually learned that in the game he was in fact Ganon, and that’s what made me finally bite the bullet and play the actual game itself. On that day I learned that while the mangas are great in a lot of ways, they definitely aren’t replacements for the original material 😅

I made this OC a while ago for some dumb RP, but I ended up making a half-baked fps/survival game idea about them called Project POP.
Let me know if there's anything up with her jskezkpagr 😅

--Character Name: Ada
  • (They have a male counterpart, Adam, but I prefer the female version).
--Race/Species: Android

--Abilities/Powers: Being a robot of her technological caliber, Ada has many abilities, such as…
  • Resistance to extreme climates
  • Advanced speed and jumping abilities, as well as strength and endurance
  • Heightened senses and intelligence
  • Database-assisted environmental scanners
  • Universal Interface Prove (being able to connect to any sort of machine or computer to hack into it).
  • Additional add-ons such as rocket boots, a jet-pack, and other tools that can be equipped with her arms, such as a taser, whip, holographic computer interface, laser, etc.
She also uses two dual-wield guns as her main weapons (which use lasers as ammo), which can fuse and create one bigger blaster.

--Bio: In the year 4040, humanity fears extinction when science experiments went sour. In an effort to be honored throughout history as the greatest scientists who ever lived, a team of scientists worked together to alter the DNA of animals and ultimately fuse animals together and create new species with advanced abilities that would benefit humans. However, things spiraled out of control and the animals managed to break free and were out in the wild. Now that the mutated creatures were reproducing and creating much bigger and more threatening mutations, humanity sought to contain them. First, armed human forces were sent out, but some of the beasts had become sentient (via the experiments) and informed the fellow mutants of what the forces were being sent to do. They killed any human who attempted to nullify them, and took it a step further by making sure that humans were no longer top of the food chain by invading human territory and wreaking havoc.
Since the human population has dwindled due to this catastrophe, every country's governments united to take down this global threat. They created the project ‘Preservation from the Overpopulation of Plagues’ or Project POP. The former head of the scientists who caused the outbreak in the first place was now the one who was going to stop it, backed up by other scientists from all around the world. They called themselves the UVON League and set to work creating something that could nullify the Plagues (which they called the mutations) since humans had failed.Ada used to be an idol, similar to a Vocaloid icon, but she was scrapped and left to rust once humanity was forced to hide in bunkers in an effort to save itself. Coming out to find some scraps he could use to build something to be recognized into the UVON League, a rookie engineer came across Ada’s rusting body hidden in a shed. He took her back to the bunker, polished and reprogrammed her to the best of his ability, and took Ada to the UVON League, hoping to impress them with his idea. Many laughed at the rookie, but the UVON president told the rookie that he had a great idea. Since humans had tried and failed, why not let robots have a go?
And so Ada was tinkered with some more, until she was fully repurposed and made into the first Artificial Cadet for UVON. Thus, she was sent out into the dystopian world, on a mission to save humanity and defeat the Plagues.
(That’s her backstory, but let me know if you need more information about her!)

--Appearance: (I’ve still got to draw a complete design of her, but here’s her general description)
Ada is a young woman-looking android, with an average height and slim frame. She has slightly wavy, dark indigo hair that falls to her waist and light blue eyes with heart-shaped pupils, left over from her idol days. She has fair, shiny skin(?) that has screws and plates here and there. She mostly wears a form-fitting bodysuit for maximum movement potential, and a headset to relay and gather information with. Ada also wears some harnesses and holsters, most notably, two holsters on her thighs to hold her dualies. And to top it all off, she sports knee-length rocket boots. Most of her attachments and clothing are black and white, as those are the UVON branding colors.

--Other:
  • Ada’s name is an acronym (Android Designated for Annihilation of mutants), but her name used to be Lovelace. Fun Fact! She's named after Ada Lovelace, the famous mathematician and the world's first computer programmer.
  • Her voice is very metallic, yet full of emotion.
  • She can show some emotion and empathy, as it is programmed in her motherboard from when she was an idol, but emotions are still very confusing to her.
  • She speaks in a very blunt and formal way.
  • Ada always feels squeamish around big bodies of water, even though she’s waterproof!
  • She has the UVON logo printed on her neck, kind of like a tattoo.
--Player Name: Shroomie

I personally think that Agahnim is not so much Ganon himself (cause one would think Ganon would just come out and reveal himself as Ganon as he always does instead of maintaining the disguise all the eay through) but rather a manifestation of Ganon's magic capabilities forming a single entity (basically, a Phantom Copy). Cause wasn't Ganon still sealed in ALttP?

Ganon outright states that Agahnim is his alter ego. It's pretty much how you describe it: he's a manifestation of Ganon's power made into a entity that he can control outside of his seal. When the seal was broken, he got his full power back.

That was probably me as I think I did bring up wanting to potentially play him in the roleplay

Aww! I might actually do that in the RP 😚
I'm sure if Pit and Ada did happen to cross paths during the RP, he'd surely charm the little robo-girl! She'd find this new feeling difficult for her servos to process, that's for sure!

I love how Leon screams then is just ice-water in the veins afterward 😆

The little kiddos are all so adorable! It makes me wish I had been here for the entire phase 🥲

Don't worry, we go that phase ever other week or so lol
In that case, maybe I'll get my chance 👀 lmao
Jokes aside, everyone is so creative! The characters mesh so cleanly and the designs for the crack-ship kids are so appealing.

Dgsjdjdof ong just say the word and trust me I will yeet myself right back into doodling fan kid concepts. I will take any excuse to draw character designs lmao

I definitely don't got it in me to do more fan kiddo designs. I did like I dunno 10? Have I had random concepts for no reason? Yes. Have I mentioned this before? No. The kiddos stay buried in my brain
