Jester is just the certified lil shithead of Lunaris's Army. He does things for his own amusement (and sometimes others if they can put up with his antics)
If it's extremely quiet at the Citadel either Jester is not there and is on a mission elsewhere or he's having some existential crisis cuz his mask came off and he went depresso mode or maybe it's the day shit's about to hit the fan and he's trying to rip the mask off and induce a persona awakening on himself to free Arsene because he became mentally aware with it on and he wants out

- Falcon boasts a more militant attitude and goes about his duties with much fervor. There may be several instances where he internally questions the decisions of Lunaris but resolves himself that the Lunaris' ways are beyond his understand and it simply his duty to see to their success. With his tenacity and drive, Falcon will dedicate all his strength to see Lunaris' will be done.-Falcon is still a very sociable man and an inspiring speaker. Due this and his heroic-attire, he is often used as a mascot to promote other non-believers into becoming missionaries for Lunaris. (Insert "We Want You To Join Lunaris" poster here lmao)
-Despite being brainwashed, Falcon still expresses great loyalty and respect to his fellow missionaries, even if they themselves may care less out about him. He might find himself frustrated by their conduct from time-to-time, but he still trusts his comrades to the fullest extent.
-Is the premier fighting instructor for Lunaris' missionaries in hand-to-hand combat and strategy. He implores and intense (but doable) training regime to strengthen the others mind and bodies to better serve Lunaris.
-Falcon now produces white fire and the 'Falcon' is replaced with 'Astral'.
-Falcon can't place it but for some reason, but out of all the missionaries, he has this intense...Dislike towards Ness...

Lunaris overhears Zelda complaining about her bodyguard and responds along the lines of, “Angels are not good enough for you? You should really learn to be more grateful, dear. After all, I could have assigned an apple farmer or a goat herder instead!”
I can see a scene of Joker and Zelda breaking free of their brainwashing. Zelda easily figures out that the gems used to power the machinery contain the Pits’ souls, and manages to escape with one. Meanwhile, Joker has to steal the other one. Lol Yoshi eats the Eclipses and has them trapped in eggs so they can be carried off!

Kinda related, but I see a scene where Joker has successfully ripped the mask off himself and he's just standing over the sink in his bathroom with a completely bloodied face and one of the others who heard him screaming as they were passing by is just standing in the doorway staring at him. How is he bleeding so badly from ripping his mask off? Should they get a healer to help him? What the hell is even happening with him?
But actually adding to that idea, Shulk probably sees all this in a vision, but somewhere deep down he understands what is going on and knows if they ever want to return to normal he cannot expose their actions. He decides to not report his visions of their escape, willingly putting himself at risk

What if they weren’t able to catch one of the Eclipses, so Zelda somehow manages to have the Pit soul they’ve saved possess her Phantom? XD
Or they fail to catch both Eclipses, so both of the souls are possessing the phantom, and Pit and Pittoo constantly fight over who is in control until they get their bodies back!

Dbsjfhdjf omg now I’m thinking of a scene where the newly freed Zelda and Joker have to sneak around the citadel in order to get to the machine housing their souls, only that in order to do so they have to pretend that their still brainwashed. Imagine the all the potential angst/comedy as they’re interacting with other brainwashed comrades and failing to capture the essense of how they actually were acting while mind controlled. So like Zelda tries insulting some of the staff only for them to be surprised at how nice she’s acting compared to the usual, or Joker has to force himself to joke around with the sullen Inkling to maintain appearances.

Joker probably briefly thinks of suggesting he take one of the souls in to his mask since he theoretically should be able take the soul in as a persona thanks to his wildcard ability, but he thinks better of it knowing it would do much good to have them at his beck and call. Plus he wouldn’t want one of them in his head lol!

I can only imagine how disgusted Zelda felt with herself after being freed, poor girl! Imagine if Odessa took her under her wing? She'd learn some new healing techniques, though I can see Odessa refusing to teach Zelda how to summon Underworld monsters. Perhaps there is still some glimmer of the kindly priestess she once was, and she does not want to see another innocent soul become as dark and tainted as hers?
For some angst, I pictured a scene of Zelda apologizing to one Pit for the way she treated him while she was brainwashed. He immediately waves it off, saying that Zelda wasn't herself and that he's used to such treatment. Meanwhile, the other Pit is alone and staring hard at his helmet, which still has the Sun Mask enchantment on it. He silently drops it into a nearby lake and makes no mention of it ever.
Lol the Pits are arguing within the phantom they're possessing. Everyone gets sick and tired of it, so Joker snatches the helmet off the phantom and he and Captain Falcon start kicking the helmet to each other until the Pits are too dizzy to argue!

I had a sad thought. In Joker and Zelda’s escape I imagine they’re only able to save a few fighters if any at all and I thought about how the remaining fighters who are still trapped would react and I imagined them encountering some of the brainwashed characters and how depressing that could be

Of course he can! He's an absolute gremlin when he's awake! Little Dipper is bouncing off the walls and causing mischief. When he finally runs out of energy, he crashes hard and falls asleep. He's like a ferret in that regard!
