Yep, that was a horsefly, which makes Spongebob and Patrick's fear a lot more understandable: horseflies are blood suckers! Now I want to find a Spongebob clip, gif, or meme that describes each of my PCs lol

Welp I kept him nice and simple cuz that is Yoshi so here he is
Extra:
-A simple steed in Lunaris's army
-Not as cheery and happy as he used to be, but still content. Very mellow natured and has no complaints with how things are. He is a simple creature and as long as he isn't being outright abused, he is perfectly happy
-Takes care of the other animal/beast/non-human members of the army when he sees they need it
-Why is he blue? Who knows. Something in the brainwashing caused it LOL
-Thinks his scarf is super cool and loves when it blows in the wind and makes him look heroic!

Yoshi is a simple creature. If he is taken care of and treated well he will be fine. His brainwashing is likely very mild in comparison to the others with more complexity to them

You know we always joke about how unfitting Yoshi is in my cast of characters, but I don't think I've ever shown my lil Yoshi collection ik I've shown my dumb Jokers but I cannot remember if I ever showed Yoshis. Maybe I have and my bad memory has fooled me but take the Yosh!

The Lunaris-form SSB is reminding me of the Neopet paintbrushes and it makes me want to draw my PCs as though they were painted with each brush, but that is way too huge of an undertaking for me and I don't have the time.
I've considered posting some art prompts just to try and get myself to draw more, even if it's only a messy quick doodle.

I didn't plan on finishing him today, but here we are yay me procrastinating other stuff just cuz I couldn't stop thinking about him. So here is Byleth!
Extras!!!:
-Byleth, or commonly known as the Ashen Demon, is the personal executioner of the Army of Lunaris. Need someone killed? He's got you. Someone needs to be punished for their crimes? He's got that too! Someone betrayed Lunaris? He'll make them know their place
-While still stoic in nature, the Ashen Demon has a natural thirst for blood and is not afraid to spill it. Any emotions he may have started developing were completely wiped out when he was brainwashed. He is mostly mute and typically communicates in grunts and growls. He can speak but chooses not to
-His brainwashing did not come easy. The remnants of Sothis left in him when the two fused did not like someone trying to take control of her vessel and fought back in attempt to keep control. He quite literally needed to have any traces of Sothis taken out of him before he could fall under such a spell. While the crest stone could not be taken out of him without killing him, it was tampered with and caused him to lose his connection with Sothis, hence why his eyes and hair returned to their natural teal/blue color
-Lost his left eye when fighting back to prevent his brainwashing
-His magical abilities became much stronger under Lunaris. He now knows a variety of types rather that only using light and ice. He still prefers his sword over his magic though
-Since the crest stone in his chest was tampered with and he lost his Crest of Flames, the Sword of the Creator is slowly killing him each time he uses it and pushing him closer to going mad like others without a crest would experience when using one of the Heroes Relics

I'm playing Pokemon Yellow, and I'm currently beating up wild Grass-type Pokemon with my Bulbasaur while Rush's "The Trees" plays.
My 'mons so far:
Pikachu: Cheek
Bulbasaur: Axl Rose
Charmander: Elvis
Squirtle: Sinatra
Kadabra: Miller
Nidorino: Alice
I have a theme going on, with Pikachu as the exception because I always name Pikachu "Cheek." I also had a Pidgeotto named Skynyrd, but replaced him.

My brain is still very deep in the Lunaris!AU trenches so the reasonable thing to do was go back and redraw some of them! Zelda is first on the chopping block since I knew there was a couple of small details I wanted to change/add.
The changes weren’t super huge, I just added some detail to her tabbard, changed the sleeves around, gave her some braids and made the moon mask a little more accurate. Fun fact for her belt I thought it’d be neat to put a moon pearl on it as a cute callback.
Fhskdnfdm and semi-related but I’ve been trying to think of alternate titles for the Lunaris-ified crew like Ploegy has been doing but man is it a lot harder than I thought! There’s are my very tentative ideas so far

Secret Agent of the Moon and Stars: Agent Opah
Explanation: Opah is another name for the Moonfish/Sunfish species. Gotta fit in the fish puns somewhere!
Isabelle
Secretary of the Moon and Stars: Sirius
Explanation: Sirius is apart of the Canis Major constellation, and she’s a dog, so….
Zelda
Maiden of the Moon and Stars: Lullaby
Explanation: Named after Zelda’s lullaby, and lullabies are usually sung at nighttime so it kinda works? Plus there’s the irony of her being called something as sweet and kind as a lullaby when she’s acting like a total jerk lmao
Pichu:
Bairn of the Moon and Stars: IC 820
Explanation: IC 820 is one of the two spiral galaxies found in NGC 4676, or what it’s more commonly called, the Mice Galaxies. I thought it was especially fitting since the two galaxies are described as being in an embrace with one another so if Pikachu was IC 819 it could be such a cute little parallel between them.
(Speaking of Zelda, expect her next post to be coming sometime next week

When I was playing through Pokemon Blue last year I had a pikachu I named Chubbachu. After I beat the game I eventually moved my team over to Pokemon Moon, found out she was a girl, and evolved her into the pancake loving Alolan Raichu
Shskdhdkfi but currently I’m playing through White 2 and am grinding for the elite 4 because omg Iris kicked my ass on my first attempt at it

I wish you good luck on your run! lol and this is probably some very valid advice to give but back in Legends Arceus I had a an alpha Happiny on my team that I never evolved so I’m probably not the person to be giving it toDoing an all normal type run of firered myself. Word of advice
(In my defense she was a shiny and Chansey and Blissey’s shiny color palettes are pretty meh in comparison to Happiny’s)

The one useful thing about having a Chansey is that if you have one on your team you can use it to heal your other pokemon and save some potions. Qjskcbakchsif and on the topic of shiny Pokemon I am legally obligated to mention my absolute magnum opus of a shiny I started hunting for 1 and an half years ago and only finally obtained like 5 days before Christmas
Shdkskfjd and the worst part was I decided to hunt Celebi right after the elite 4 so I had to wait 1.5 stinking years to beat the rest of Crystal!
