Oh absolutely; the Ancient Ruins aren't occupied atm but Im sure there can be some arrangements made by the GM and other players.

Great! I've been reading the RP and working on my post, and I don't wanna donk anything up, and if P. Peach ends up alone for a while I'm perfectly okay with that!

Yup - Samus and Pikachu are currently by the former's gunship in the forest, dealing with the annoying Pluton "cupids".

I suppose she can make a surprise entrance there, or at least notice the action taking place if she doesn't want to immediately go into combat and wait for them to finish. Your call.

Your post is great, Minako ! I'm quite happy to have a Princess Peach. The Smash Brothers are aware of the one year reunion. The intention was a friendly get-together while sharing news from the other worlds in hopes of preventing another crisis like the invasions of the Subspace Army, Galeem, and Dharkon. The Smash Brothers are branded as outlaws, but no one has visited any civilized places, so that won't come into play yet. That doesn't mean ALL towns and villages will be hostile. There are folks that will be VERY happy to see the Smash Brothers as they believe they'll be able to fix the mess the Smash Realm is in. Others, greedy and desperate, will try to turn them in. Folks are free to make up their own landmarks as they go so play with it however you want! ^^

Way too many people portray her as being so cold, violent, and unfriendly that just making eye-contact with her will offend her enough to fire a missile at their face. Samus spared a baby Metroid, saved local wildlife from a planet about to explode, helped the Luminoth with no hesitation, and so on! The endings of Zero Mission show she has a life outside of bounty-hunting and mercenary work. I like how you described her: a warm soul hidden within a cold suit of armor.

Thank you so much! As a huge fan of the Metroid series, I want to ensure that I play Samus as faithfully as she can; for there's a fine balance to be had when dealing with her cold "unfriendly" side and her more compassionate friendly side.

Funny enough, I felt like I've seen players play Samus a bit too "friendly" something akin to her interpretation in Metroid: Other M. I think that game had absolutely butchered her character into something less then she truly is, failing to get who she is as a character. On the flipside, Samus isn't a monster by any means; and it would be a disservice to not show the times that she has a genuine soul (IE: her compassion for animals/fauna).

It's all about finding that inner-balance (and reference making) when playing a character you love to their fullest, or as faithfully as you can.

And for the record, Ik I've been stating about being close to the source material, but also don't be afraid to add something new as long as its something you think can enhance the character's identity and maybe add your spin on it. It's a case-by-case situation but can work properly if done right for sure.

How a lot of Metroid fans feel about Other M is how I feel about the American English dub of KI: Uprising. I know a lot of people love it, but you cannot convince me that Pit, who in the first game did everything on his own, is actually so stupid that he can barely function without Palutena or Viridi being there to hold his hand. You cannot convince me that someone who was a prisoner of war, who had witnessed his people get completely wrecked, his home ravaged and his goddess captured, and had to travel the world while constantly fighting off the enemy army single-handedly, would be so naive and goofy to the point that everyone mocks him and can't take him seriously. Then there's the whole illiteracy thing in the English dub, which is complete BS since Pit used maps in the first game, and there's even official artwork of him reading. For the RP, I'm playing it off as Pit not being fluent in English.

I'm trying for a balanced approach with Pit, having him be capable of silliness while still making it believable that he is a veteran warrior and a competent leader. The challenge is striking that balance while still having Pit feel like Pit to folks reading the RP.
