Realistic or Modern Suncrest Complex - OOC Thread

There was this one time when me and my mom went to go see the new Poltergeist after watching the original three Poltergeist movies. though we were hyped, we found ourselves greatly disappointed by the movie; it ruined what made the original Poltergeist so enjoyable and had a lot of aspects and moments in it that made us dislike it. But from this, I came to learn that remakes aren't always as good as the classics. Regardless, me and my mom had a good time.
I get that. The one movie I REFUSE to watch is It. The remake or the classic. I just cannot. I also refuse to watch any hackem up movies like Saw. The gore makes me sick. I am more into supernatural horrors

Oh my god I want to see the new IT so badly! Whether it be good or not, I'm still gonna risk it just to see this movie; the original haunts me to this day XD

I have such a phobia of clowns XD. I am also the worst to watch horror movies with cause the only way I can cope is by mocking it, or cowering in fear next to someone.

fuck horror movies
and fuck haunted houses
i went to Netherworld with my friend and all he did was cling to the back of my shirt and scream.
i kept saying "YOU TOUCH ME I SUE! YOU TOUCH ME I SUE!"
when they jumped out at us, flung themselves from the rafters with harnesses, or just slunk around in the shadows right next to us.
i ended up having an anxiety attack midway through the area 51-themed one and had to leave.

I've got nerves of steel. Jump scares don't scare me one bit. Very loud noises can make me jump, but that's it. A slight flinch and nothing else. I can even be writing during the jump, and you wouldn't see any scribble marks or anything, just normal writing.

I've got a very unhealthy lack of fear. In it's place is morbid curiosity. I used to be in the Air Force. We had an active shooter drill once. The gun shots went off, people went running or ducking and hiding. I took a second to see where the noise was coming from and what was going on D: I just lack that reflex in most situations.

It's fun when I used to work though. I'd scare everyone. I'd sneak up to them, or hide behind corners. Everyone always got mad and tried to get me too, but they almost always failed. A few that screamed loud enough got me to jump a few times though XD

Wait, you worked for the Air Force!?

Lol, it was the Air Force, not the Army XD. And not everyone in the Air Force flew planes, or even worked on them. There are doctors and nurses, finance peeps, construction doods, logistics, and all sorts of stuff going on.

Ironically enough, I did work on jets XD I was a weapons crew member on the A-10 Warthog. I put the bomb on the jet :) It sounds more glorious than it actually is :P

I can imagine! My stepbrother is taking flight school to major in flying passenger air planes, so I can only imagine what it's like to fly an A-10 Warthog :D
