Realistic or Modern Suncrest Complex - OOC Thread

Y'know I'm trying to write the easiest post about what Pluto is doing at work and I just keep thinking of new things. Like I kind of wanted to be a bit lazy with this. But no I keep putting in a bunch of kind of complicated outfits that I have to explain! Holy wow why am I doing this to myself!?!

What Karen said Magical Squid Senpai Magical Squid Senpai I'm kinda worried XD I don't want to read ten pages about his outfit lol. I like descriptive writing, but I don't want to know about how someone changed costumes ten times with great detail on each costume D:

Just making sure. I'd just skip over it and not even read the rest of the post lol XD I've given up books before because of over description before :P

Dear lord Magical Squid Senpai Magical Squid Senpai XD I'll work through the text, but, some advise for next time you write a novel, use more paragraphs. It's like a big ass wall of daunting text that seems insurmountable. It's intimidating, and normally, it's the type of post I skip over because I'm lazy and don't even read my books for college, even though I shell out the money for them every time, just in case XD.

Using paragraphs can make it a little easier to read. And especially with long posts, you want to make sure people have an easy time reading it. It should be a chore for you to write it, rather than a chore for someone else to read it :P

Your comment just popped up, and like you said, it's one of those posts that people will probably skip, or at the very least skim through. I'll be doing skimming myself XD But also, like I said, making them into smaller, easier to read paragraphs is a simple way to make it a whole lot easier to read. Think of reading a newspaper, or even a regular paper. What would you do if the entire paper was covered in text? Not read it XD There's nowhere to pause D: I'll stop ranting and let you off the hook with that :P

Also, not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to give some constructive criticism :) Still love you Squidie <3

I'll be sure to use more paragraphs. Although when I was typing it up I felt like I had done that but I guess it was just all a dream or something.
And I would actually read that newspaper just to know what the heck is going on!

I always skim over stuff. I hate it, I never used to do that. One time I was looking at this long post and I was all like boo, this is boring. So I skipped it.
Then I remembered that I was the one who wrote it.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the way you did the beginning and end were great. Paragraphs and colored text make it easy to get through. The middle part though, that's the only part I skimmed through :P I know it involved the photo shoot and some scene at Walter's place, but that's about it. Didn't seem super important and integral to the story XD

Also, it's pretty funny how you posted a reaction to the last time Pluto was with Sasha. It almost feels like forever ago, even though it wasn't, it's only been a long time since the post was done :P

On that note, KarenAKAMint KarenAKAMint I'm not sure we can get much more out of this. I don't know if spookie spookie is coming back? Poor Sasha, I feel like this is the second time, out of three total interactions, that people have just stopped posting midway through D: Anyways, I think it's safe to skip that scene.

Yeah, about the skipping part, having lots of smaller paragraphs helps. It's hard to skim small sections, since you kinda need all the words to know what's going on.

I usually try to make sure each paragraph isn't longer than, say, eight lines in the preview option thing. Though I'm no pro, if I were, I'd be writing books :P

The middle paragraph was more just Walter talking. I wanted his color to be black but I knew I should've at least done something better there.

I actually almost took out the whole Sasha and Ian scene but I wanted to atleast make it like he didn't just leave. I don't know that paragraph was all part of the first draft that wasn't deleted.
But anyway, I am going to bed now! Goodnight friends.

I'm going to still hold off till Saturday since I need to figure out how I'm going to code the event. Just note that we will start off right at the event which is the Movie Night, around 5pm. So be prepared.

Well, it's hard to find colors that work well for both day and night modes, so you're limiting yourself there. I would just use the colors you want, or at least pander to the default scheme, since it seems most people use that?

The way I work around it it with the bg BBCode. You use a bg and it pretty much ignores any color scheme anyone has. So as long as the text is readable against the bg you choose, you're good to go for everyone. :)
