The townies - These parents grew up here, and they never left here. They grew up in rich families, inherited their parents money, and procreated to have kids that will live the same lives that they had lived. These kids are rebellious, but polite, they flaunt everything they get, and they pretend not to have a care in the world. What people don't know though, is these teens are the same as every other teen, they struggle and they don't show it. That is weakness and unacceptable to their equally perfect parents.

The returners - These parents had at one point left the town, as many make the goal to do. But, the one mistake they made was coming back. Their kids may not endure the same problems they faced in school, with the problems of money and class, but these kids still struggle with what identity they can choose to have. They're not rich, they're not poor. They live in comfortable middle class bliss.

The lows - Whether they ended up leaving, or staying, the Lows have always been a "problem" to the town. The parents lived in beat up houses and now their kids do too. Money has always been an issue, and whatever money they had either went to alcohol, or drugs. Sometimes they managed house payments, and sometimes they don't. But, with the town and its obsession with image, these people remain housed. These teens struggle with abuse (whether its from their family members, or them with substances), mental issues, etc. They aren't accepted by anyone but each other, and even then that can be an issue.

He, generally, has a lot of torn clothes. Whether they came that way or he did it himself doesn't matter. His shoes are probably a couple years old, but they haven't completely fallen apart. He has long black hair that he often wears down, but he has a few hairties on his wrist just in case. Wears a lot of black, jackets/hoodies, metal band tees. Has a nose ring. Used to cut his own hair with scissors found around the house, but has let it grow out since about fifteen.

Bio
Came from a not so good home life. Parents fight alot. They aren't abusive, moreso neglectful. He is often left to his own devices and thus knows how to take care of himself for the most part. He feels like a roommate rather than a son in his own house. He got into drugs at fifteen to cope with the fighting that comes with a failed marriage. His parents don't drink/get high as much as he does. They fight about his useage and how they're going to make rent this month. His parents both work multiple minimum wage jobs to get by, and Lucien is currently working a job himself after school to supply his habit.

He generally wears a lot of camoflauge and wears a green jacket with various patches on it. Very nice black combat grade boots. Wears a lot of occult oriented things, such as pentagrams and inverted crosses. His hair is always messy and down, has a little bit of stubble when he hasn't shaved for a couple of weeks. Despite looking like a rebellious kid, his clothes are rarely hand-me-downs and are a bit expensive.

Bio
Hailing from a successful household, Darren has had things quite easy. His brother, on the other hand, has not. His brother is constantly in trouble for merely existing, as he struggles with his gender identity and sexuality. Darren's protective nature kicked in early and he often goes against his parents' wishes for the sake of his brother's well being. His parents are rich, and their parents were rich. The Marshalls are a long line of lawyer and law enforcement types, with a family tradition of practicing Christianity. Darren started to rail against this as he got older and is more extreme than his brother about it.

House: Alice lives in an average two story, three bedroom house on the northern edge of town. The nearby forest is practically her backyard- then again, that could be said for the entire area.

Style: When the weather permits it, Alice would always be seen in tank tops, short-sleeved tees, and jeans of any kind. However, even in the coldest weather, she wouldn't be caught dead in typical winter gear, opting instead for boots instead of sneakers, throwing on a reasonably warm hoodie, and, of course, the beanie she's definitely forgotten to take off to shower.

Problems: Harshly disapproving parent, missing her left arm, mild substance use

Bio: Alice's father grew up in Rosetown, experiencing the typical middle-class life. By the time he was only 15, Jayce Stacy decided he wanted to "experience America," as he put it, and was travelling the country by 20. Many people remembered Jayce for his outspoken and , quite frankly, old-fashioned personality. Though when he returned at age 30 with a 3 year old girl who distinctly resembled the Asian ancestry of her absent mother(save for the missing arm), no one was shocked as this young Alice grew up standing for everything her father didn't. After all, expectations go to hell.
Alice and her father are constantly on the opposite end of an opinion, and it shows in their recurring arguments whenever something even remotely polarizing comes up. As a way of avoiding this, Alice is constantly away from her home, being a part of the low scale parties that dot the town; exploring the forest; or, as of her eighteenth birthday, making a wholehearted attempt to get her tattoo salon running after four years of a gas station job, saving up to actually get it going as soon as possible. As of now, she's nearing this goal at the expense of still living with her father.

Personality: If there's one thing Alice got from her father, it's the fact that she could argue(or debate, same thing to her) all day long and not back down. The difference, however, is that she holds the capacity to change her mind on something, and, in reality, that's all that prevented her from growing up holding the same exact views as her father. When she's decided to make friends with someone, Alice can come off as rather friendly and lighthearted. She definitely knows what it's like to be different, so it's a given that Alice is accepting of just about everyone, and has yet to intervene if she sees someone in a situation that seems even remotely uncomfortable for any of the participants.

Etc: Alice's arm(I'm sure you can guess which one) is covered in a full sleeve of floral tattoos; unknown to Alice, she is not Jayce's biological daughter, she is adopted; although Jayce would never admit it, he regrets trying to force Alice to grow up in his own image, and is growing tired of not actually knowing her like he wishes he could; edit: forgot to add the fact that she's bisexual

Bio:

Shiloh is one of four other kids, all younger than her. The eldest other than her is only 11, his name is Jakey. After that there is Jess (6) Nadia (6). All of them have different fathers apart from her and Jakey, as her mother seems to go through them like underwear. When Shiloh was a baby, her mother had a stable life with a father who didn't leave when she got pregnant. They were due to be engaged, but unfortunately he died when she was six and Jakey had only just been born when he went out for a drive after a big argument and never returned. She couldn't remember what he was angry about, only that her mother absolutely blamed herself for it. Several times little Jakey almost got taken away by child protection services because her mother had such issues with alcohol abuse that she would forget to feed him, but somehow they always scraped by.

Her mother came good for a while after Jake's first birthday. They were on government help plus her mother managed to keep a small job as a night time shelf stacker at a supermarket, which fed them. She began dating again and went through a couple untill she finally met one who she deemed a good man. Unfortunately when her mother went back on contraception, it failed and the twins Nadia and Jess were born. After that he left without a word. With Jakey now 5 years old and Shiloh now 11, she had pretty much become a second mother. She was the only one Jakey would even listen to. Her mother spent a lot of time at the local pub and there was always a steady stream of partners through the house.

Her mother came good again for a few years when the twins became her whole world. She looked after them, fed them, worked to get them food and clothes. She also made sure she could never have kids again by getting her cords tied. Many days Shiloh had to miss school to look after the kids. Her mother would call and beg her some times so that she could go out and have a drink. Shiloh mised a lot of valuble school days because of that, so currently she is struggling to make even passing grades here in high school. She has thought about dropping out so many times but she want's to set a good example for Jake because he is a VERY smart but VERY unstable kid.

Elizabeth is quite joyful in her expression, if not peppy. As a result, she can be quite hard to read as it's hard to discern her true emotions behind her infallible smile. He was the one who went through their homework with them. Matt's parents were trying to hold down multiple jobs to keep the family going, which is why Matt took on the role of looking after his brothers.

As he grew up Matt took up playing the guitar and soon developed a passion for it and soon enough he was writing his own music. He took part in school talent shows and his popularity in school began to take off. With the surge in popularity Matt became uncomfortable with the popularity. Despite all of this he still found time to look after his younger brothers.

When they moved away, Matt hid his sexuality by getting a Girlfriend. Despite there being no physical relationship, all it took was one time. After alcohol was consumed he got her pregnant. She died in childbirth leaving Matt with a newborn son so it was decided the family would move back and pick up from where they left off, but with a new member of the family

Bio: Valentina is the oldest daughter of Matteo Agani and Nicole Lerum. From a young age it was clear to her that she had the world handed to her on a silver platter. Anything that she could possibly want could be hers as long as she knew and understood what was expected of her. She knew since she was little that she was to be perfect at all times, that her family had to appear to be everything that the neighborhood believed about them.

When she was about 5 years old her mother started her in gymnastics training. At first she hated it but decided to stick with it because it would make her mother happy. And happy it did, her mother saw the same amount of potential in Valentina that she had in herself. Her mother was determined to have her daughter follow in her footsteps, to create her own athletic legacy.

When she had first found she was pregnant she did everything she could to hide the fact from her parents and the father. For one she knew the instant that her parents found out they wouldn't let her keep it because what would the town think? How would it make them look to have a pregnant teenage daughter? Not to mention this would throw a large wrench into the plans for her to be an olympian like her mother. Telling the father was out of the question as well because what if he told his parents and then the news got back to hers and there were just too many what ifs for the situation. She knew from the moment she found out she wanted to keep her baby so she kept it a secret, until she was three months pregnant. At the third month she had began to start showing and started wearing loose clothing and large sweaters. Valentina had gotten a call from her doctor and instead of her answering her mother had, finding out everything. That night, she and her parents had argued and at the end of the night her parents came to an agreement that she would be sent to live with her aunt until the baby is born under the guise of it more training for the olympics and after the baby is born her parents would pretend the baby is theirs to keep up appearances.

Bio: Valentina is the oldest daughter of Matteo Agani and Nicole Lerum. From a young age it was clear to her that she had the world handed to her on a silver platter. Anything that she could possibly want could be hers as long as she knew and understood what was expected of her. She knew since she was little that she was to be perfect at all times, that her family had to appear to be everything that the neighborhood believed about them.

When she was about 5 years old her mother started her in gymnastics training. At first she hated it but decided to stick with it because it would make her mother happy. And happy it did, her mother saw the same amount of potential in Valentina that she had in herself. Her mother was determined to have her daughter follow in her footsteps, to create her own athletic legacy.

When she had first found she was pregnant she did everything she could to hide the fact from her parents and the father. For one she knew the instant that her parents found out they wouldn't let her keep it because what would the town think? How would it make them look to have a pregnant teenage daughter? Not to mention this would throw a large wrench into the plans for her to be an olympian like her mother. Telling the father was out of the question as well because what if he told his parents and then the news got back to hers and there were just too many what ifs for the situation. She knew from the moment she found out she wanted to keep her baby so she kept it a secret, until she was three months pregnant. At the third month she had began to start showing and started wearing loose clothing and large sweaters. Valentina had gotten a call from her doctor and instead of her answering her mother had, finding out everything. That night, she and her parents had argued and at the end of the night her parents came to an agreement that she would be sent to live with her aunt until the baby is born under the guise of it more training for the olympics and after the baby is born her parents would pretend the baby is theirs to keep up appearances.
