Name:

Luis Di'Gaevano

Gender:

Male

Age:

16

Height:

5'7"

Weight:

125 lbs

Country/Nationality:

Italy/Italian

Personality:

Luis is a cheerful and friendly boy. He's quick to smile, easy to laugh with, and loyal. Luis has a hard time finding the faults in others and prefers to be optimistic about a LOT of things. Some find it annoying but Luis also doesn't care how people think of him because as long as he isn't offending anyone, he's made peace with himself and learned how to appreciate the person he is and will become.

Luis has a very active mind and can easily sense emotions around him, for example if a friend is stressed about an event. If you met Luis even once and had a conversation with him, he'll automatically count you as a best friend and when you need someone, he'll be the one there for you. You could say Luis is strong and very in tune with his emotions but some people aren't convinced. His family background is very hazy and some believe he's hiding his "true" personality from others.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

President of Muay Thai Club

Bio:

Luis was born in Ravenna, Italy. Originally under the care of his biological mother, Angela, he was immediately given to his aunt due to Angela's well-known drug abuse. His aunt, Celestina, was the younger sister of Angela. Luis' father is unknown and Angela never told her sister nor her son of his whereabouts.

Celestina was caring and doting single mother. She had been involved with a young man from France before Luis was born but she broke it off and rushed back to Italy to take care of Luis. Luis grew up knowing who his real mother was and only seeing her on the weekends. Angela at first tried many times to enter rehab but in the end, she stopped and her life spiraled further into depression. Luis has never commented nor has he questioned Celestina about his mother. Surprisingly, all he ever did was smile and love her like any child would.

Luis received a brilliant education under the tutoring of his aunt who homeschooled him up to high school. He never shied away from calling Celestina, Mother, and if you ask him who his mother is, he'll claim he has two but will only talk about Celestina.

Luis' love for Muay Thai began around when he was 10 years old. He desperately wanted to learn a martial art but did not like karate or taekwondo which were common in the area he lived in. He watched a demonstration on Muay Thai at a festival and was instantly hooked on to it. For two years he trained and learned Muay Thai on his own, using whatever material he could get his hands on. His formal training did not truly start until he turned 12, when he was taught under the tutelage of a former MMA fighter. This training went on only for a year before the fighter came out of retirement to fight once again.

Since then, he has practiced Muay Thai professionally for the last four years, using every technique his tutor had shown him before leaving. At age 14, he was granted a 1 year scholarship to Subarashi. With Celestina's blessing, he attended. Reportedly his words to his aunt after his first week were "I'm not staying here just for one year."

He joined the Muay Thai Club and eventually became the President, being a popular choice among club members and even schoolmates. As of now, he has been training for the Baron Championship. He had participated last year's but dropped out due to unknown reasons but many believe it was because his aunt was having health issues.

Other:

He has brown hair with light blue eyes, inherited from supposedly his father. Or so his biological mother claims.

Hoshiko Mikazuki

tumblr_lyxql18HnZ1qgn5ogo1_500.gif

Name:

Hoshiko Mikazuki

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Height: 5'10

Weight: 123 lbs

Country/Nationality:

70% Korean 30% Japanese

Personality:

Hoshiko is normally seen as a quiet and not so headstrong girl, being quiet as she is. She is quiet around people she doesn't know and people anywhere, being rather awkward and shy.

Despite her cool, delicate appearance, Hoshiko is a calm, headstrong, and prideful girl who is easily made angry or upset. She hates when guards point out her height or call her the Godzilla, a nickname she earned because of her tall height size. Despite her tendency to be aggressive, she is actually a kind person, especially to people she trusts. She is extremely loyal, too, as she is willing to fight tooth and nail to protect her loved ones. She is not afraid to speak her mind and is often bad-mouthed because of her somewhat rude attitude toward people and lack of social skills. She rather potty mouthed while speaking and has a aggressive fighting style. Because she is often misunderstood and judged, people don't see her kind and loyal personality. Taiga wants to treat everyone kindly, but due to some bullying and enemies, she keeps the facade until it cracks. When she can show her good side, she is sweet and very outgoing. All in all, She is a bittersweet girl.

Club Interested or Already Part Of: Secretary of Judo. Member of Kendo.

Bio:

Hoshiko was born in Korea with her Father being a detective and her mother being a former detective. However, When she was only 2 yrs old, her mother divorced her father after her older brother died falling of a bridge when he wondered off to the street. She lived with her father most of her life, earning a rather boyish interests like mixed martial arts and playing with cars. She wasn't raised with dolls and toys but, had long dark hair that kept her femininity. Her father was a single father and haven't had any other children besides her. He was also very protective of her, although he went to work long hours and she was looked after her uncle who had a boyfriend as well as 2 boys from her Uncle's past relationship. They were about 2-3 younger than she was, not too young. The three were like sibling, sharing they're interest in martial arts. The three kids always went to school together and were like they're own little gang in primary school. When she was 11 yrs old, her cousins moved to Canada which left her to a private school where her father sent her with a better education. Friendships were not like that. She was teased for her boyish ways which left her with delinquents around school, most of them boys. That's how her shell was made. When she turned 12, she moved to Japan where she was sent to a public school after her father quit and became a detective here. She has lived a rather simple life here, not bad.

Other:

Hoshiko means "Star Child" while Mikazuki means "New Moon".

She has a height complex.

She wishes to grow her hair out.

When she was in private school, her hair had more than 3 pieces of gum in her hair, which led to cutting it off.

"To be honest, all I really want to do right now is sleep and not have to look at your ugly face. Correction, ugly FACES. I hate everyone equally."

Name:

Ellie Anderson

Gender:

Female

Age:

17

Height:

5' 0"

Weight:

115 lbs

Country/Nationality:

Asian/American

Personality:

Ellie is someone you just want to avoid. Like all the time. She has a bad attitude and has a very fierce temper. She's very unsociable and hates loud noises so thus anyone who talks to her gets her very angry. She's not mean or a bully, just rude and blunt. Ellie tends to be very quiet, spending most of her time reading and training. She actually has a very hard time at concentrating so when she is interrupted by the smallest noise, she'll explode.

Why Ellie is always so irritable is actually a mystery to everyone including her own parents who are both very pleasant people. Ever since she was young, she's just been unsociable, temperamental, and blunt. Her parents are very laid-back and relaxed so it wasn't like she was pressured to do things. Some think that even Ellie doesn't know why she's the way she is but probably doesn't care.

Can you make friends with Ellie? Yes. She's not completely unsociable and as long as you don't piss her off, she'll at least be polite to you. Being polite to her means not glaring at you as she passes by in the hallway.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

Member of Taekwondo Club

Bio:

Ellie was born in Houston, Texas to Jia and Lily Anderson. Jia is Korean while Lily was American. They met at college and had been together for 4 years before Ellie was born. When she was born, Ellie was very quiet. She rarely cried but was a rebel, always making trouble in the quietest ways possible. Her parents weren't bothered by it.

As she grew up, Ellie's mood grew more irritable. She was always respectful to her parents and authoritative figures but she wasn't afraid to fly off the hinges when she was annoyed. The way she solved problems was with fists and feet. Her parents were worried so they decided rather than let her take out her anger on someone, she could do it in a martial art.

Ellie loved Taekwondo and took to it immediately. Being rather small, it was very hard for her at first to do much with kicks and sparring but she trained for many hours to push her body to its limits, bringing her to a point where she can move her body so fast, being small no longer mattered.

She hasn't competed because she states that it's boring and too much of a burden to have to work towards it so when she entered Subarashi, she didn't bother socializing. However there's a rumor that Ellie is beginning to train for this years Baron Championship. What changed her mind is a mystery but Ellie is one of the more well-known TKD Club members and many are interested to see how things will play out.

Name:

Aero Singh

Gender:

Male

Age:

14

Height:

Weight:

98lbs

Country/Nationality:

Personality:

Aero always seems rather overly cocky and confident to people, he seems to show off and grin all the time, not scared to stand up to others. He's been in anger management more than once for the temper he had when he was younger, as well as various therapies for other issues. He's still rather short tempered and hates being insulted, reacting quickly and either violently or getting into an argument with that person. People often find him very annoying because of many of these traits, no one really wants to put up with his annoying and overly confident personality, they just think he's rather self centred.

This is how most people see Aero, however it's not how he actually is. He's put up a rather large and thick wall between himself and everybody else, he keeps himself from harm by feigning confidence and pretending to be strong. Really he's a rather sensitive person who is not at all confident, in fact when he does half of the things he does he's terrified, if someone was to yell at him or call him multiple names he'd break. Instead of seeming weak he gets angry, he believes that getting angry at someone is better than breaking down and crying in front of them, he doesn't want to show anyone or tell anyone how he really feels... He's found that that has never gone right for him, so even if he's terrified he'll keep it up, just to impress people, to please others, because he cares so much about everone else's opinions even though people don't realise that about him. He doesn't take rejection very well, nor hurtful or mean things, but he'll never show how he truly feels in front of others, the only time he'll show any weakness is when he's on his own, even then he still wants to show himself he's strong.

Bio:

Aero doesn't really remember anything about his birth parents, when he was two he was taken into care for some unknown reason, just a year later he was adopted by a family of three.

His parents were really nice people who helped the boy with everything, his older brother seemed to avoid him most of the time, giving him dirty looks some of the time and generally not talking to him. He didn't really understand why since he'd never done anything to the boy, he'd just wanted to get to know him and talk to him more.

By the time he was old enough to go to school he was a happy child who just wanted to make friends with everyone. For some odd reason they didn't like him as much, the other children often made fun of him or hurt him, they'd never let him join in with them in the breaks, or eat with them at lunch. He didn't really understand why, but the more he was insulted and hurt the higher he built up his wall.

By the time he was seven he had severe anger issues, both at home and at school, his parents didn't realise he was getting bullied because he never told them, neither did Jay, even when they asked. They didn't quite understand what was happening to him so they left him for awhile to see if it would fix itself, but it didn't. His parents eventually resorted to sending the child to anger management, there they found out that he had issues that they'd never have thought their happy child would had.

He kept going to anger management and was sent to various therapy as well, it helped, but not completely. Eventually his parents resorted to removing him from school and homeschooling him themselves, after that his state seemed to improve greatly and they realised that they'd made the right to decision. It didn't fix his issues, but it helped them.

Ever since his brother had started Judo at the age of nine Aero had been interested in martial arts, he wasn't really allowed to do it at first and so he just watched Jay every week, from that he learnt a lot, teaching himself in his bedroom. One day when he was asked what he was interested in he said martial arts, his parents were advised to let him do such a thing, and since he didn't go to school he had a lot of spare time to do it in.

Aero took up Judo with his brother, Kung Fu, Kendo and Hapkido. He loved it so much, not really having friends he spent most of his times practicing for tournaments or for gradings. He was quite good too, he was able to take up multiple martial arts easily and do them well. Of course he always had his favourite, which was Hapkido, he loved the diversity of it all.

Jay was accepted into Subarashi Academy at the age of fifteen, when he called and Aero heard about the academy he immediately wanted to go. Having not been to school for quite a few years his parents were slightly hesitant, he was too young at the times anyway, so they made a deal with him. If he could pass the next set of exams they gave him with ninety percent or more then they'd let him go, of course Aero accepted this deal.

That year he studied really hard and passed the exams that they'd made him do, they sent him off to Subarashi and now he's in his first year there. Though having not been to school for years he's rather nervous and scared that he'll be completely disliked by everyone, so he's put up his wall and plans to keep it that way.

Already he's joined three clubs, he wanted to see if there was a Hapkido club too...but having no luck in finding one and not really wanting to set one up he's decided to practice the martial art independently.

Weight:

Country/Nationality:

Personality:

Jay is laid back and calm, he doesn't often bother with arguments, finding them pointless and stupid. He's not easily offended by others which is why many like him, they can insult him all they like and he won't give a crap, shrugging it off like it was nothing. However he's not above teasing people and will often poke fun at his friends, of course his intent isn't to be mean, he just likes to tease them and get them a little bit annoyed, or have a laugh with them.

He likes people who have a similar mindset to himself, who care about their friends and are loyal, he doesn't like people who lie or cheat their way through things. Whilst he's so laid back and usually lets people do things their own way and follows them he's an excellent leader when he needs to be, he'll get jobs done by a deadline easily. He's smart and enjoys helping out his friends if they're upset or in a rut, there's not really that many people he won't get along with since he just enjoys being around people, if you're fun then he'll stick around for awhile. He's rather popular amongst students and quite well known around the school.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

President of the Judo club

Member of the Muay Thai club

Bio:

Jay was born in Toronto, Canada, to Angeline and Carlos Singh, they were a happy family of three and lived in the big city until the child was four. His father's job forced them to move back to their home country again, which no one really minded, Jay wasn't old enough to have any proper friends and he thought it would be rather exciting.

They moved back and adopted a child just after Jay's fifth birthday. Jay knew that it was coming, his mother was a care worker at the time and he'd heard the two of them talking about a three year old that just a year before had been taken into a care home because his parents had been abusing him. Apparently his father had been a dealer of illegal guns and his mother had had major anger issues as well as being a drug dealer, he didn't understand why they'd take such a child in at the time.

When Aero was introduced to the family Jay didn't want anything to do with him, he despised the boy, he was so jealous of him, he thought that his parents would pay no attention to their own child now they had a new one. So he cooped himself up in his room for awhile, whenever his younger brother tried to talk to him or interact with him the older child ignored him and walked away.

At school Jay was really liked, he enjoyed school because he was good at the subjects and everyone liked him. He knew Aero was getting bullied, he knew what had been happening since it started, but he didn't care.... He was so obsessed with the theory that maybe Aero would go away if he didn't like the school, he didn't want him in his family anyway. Whenever he was asked if Aero was his brother he'd deny it, he'd just say that the younger male was adopted and not really anything to him. He didn't realise how much of an idiot he was being until later.

Whilst Aero was screaming and shouting Jay was up in his room playing video games and ignoring him, one time he went downstairs and shouted at his brother to just shut up or get out, of course that just ended in a fight between the two of them. When they were younger they fought a lot, usually initiated by Jay because he was annoyed by Aero and just wanted him to leave. He'd upset him a lot by saying those exact words.

When he was nine his friends told him they were taking a Judo class, he asked his parents if he could go with them one day, they agreed and he loved it. It was amazing, a way to let out stress and have fun with his friends, after he started taking Judo he became a lot calmer and relaxed than before.

Then Aero started that class with him, at first he was annoyed with him, thinking he'd take this away too, but then he started to realise that it was a way of getting to know his adopted brother more. They stopped arguing at home and settled all their differences in class, of course they don't get a lot perfectly, but a lot better than they used to at least.

Judo was great, but he learned quickly and he wanted something else to entertain himself, so he took Muay Thai, he found that he was passionate about that too, martial arts just seemed to be his thing. Those were his two favourite martial arts, he tried others and liked them, but never as much.

At thirteen Jay was going out with friends almost all the time, he started to slack on training and go out more, but after him and his friends were attacked by some older students from their school he realised that his martial arts practices were important and took up practicing a lot again, he still made time for his friends however and was hardly ever at home. Sometimes he'd take a day out off his busy life to spend with his family, but he was always doing so much.

Jay found Subarashi when he was fifteen and asked his parents if he could attend and leave his current school, they agreed to let him do so on one condition, if his younger brother decided to join too he'd watch over him, they knew once the boy found out he might be interested. Jay agreed and was sent off to the Academy.

He made a lot of friends quickly, though he really liked Luis, a boy his age from Italy. He joined the Muay Thai club with him first of all before joining the Judo club as well. He was soon appointed president of the Judo club because of how experienced and likeable he was, he was able to organise them all. He enjoys it and whilst he hasn't entered the Baron Championship before, he thinks it'll be a lot of fun and has decided to this year.

Name: Connor Siena

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Height: 5'7

Weight: 133 lbs

Country/Nationality: American/Caucasian(of Italian descent)

Personality: Somewhat shy, Connor is trying to make a good impression in his new school. He's kind of unsure about the whole fighting tournament thing, because he's not sure that fighting will help out his reputation(mainly because he's a huge coward). Right now he's just your average, low-radar guy, trying to join a new club and hopefully survive through four years. A newcomer to this competitive-filled world, he's shy, naive, awkward, clumsy, and(between you and me) pretty lonely. He's doing his utmost to not cause any waves or show his true nature, as he is actually a big, rude cynic.

Club Interested in or Already Part Of: Interested in becoming a member of the Wing Chun Club

Bio: When his parents told him that they were moving to a different city, Connor was far from displeased. In middle school, someone had spread quite a few nasty rumors about him when he had accidentally bumped into one of the delinquents at school. There was an incident, but to this day he has no idea how the rumors got started; all he knows is that he was constantly accosted to and from school by bullies, all his classmates actively avoided him, and all his teaches hated his guts. The experience has turned him into a quiet, low-tension guy, hoping not to have any such incidents happen to him again. When he first saw the brochure for Subarashii Academy, he decided to join, as he had taken a few Wing Chun classes in the past.

Other:

He really likes manga and anime, and actually runs a blog dedicated to reviewing both; that's not really common knowledge though.

He hates pets, also not common knowledge.

Name: Amy Young

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Height: 5'4

Weight: 98 lbs

Country/Nationality: Asian-American(of Korean descent)

Personality: Sweet, cute, and friendly. That's the image Amy's cultivated over her time in Subarashii Academy. All to hide her extremely twisted and sadistic tendencies. That's right, you heard me, Amy is an A-list sadist. In class she's the epitome of sugar-sweet, on the mat, she's dedicated and motivational, but in private...oh ho in private...man, is she ever twisted. She loves to mess with people's minds and emotions, though she always remembers to cover her tracks behind her. Despite her private...hobbies, Amy isn't a monster, she's never tried to kill anyone or ruin anyone, nothing like that. She also knows that she's a bit on the strange side, and makes sure to keep potential friends at a safe emotional distance, for their own safety.

Club Interested in or Already Part Of: Vice President of the Ju-Jitsu Club

Bio: Amy wasn't abused, or neglected, or anything like that. She grew up in a normal family, with two younger twin siblings, a boy and a girl. As she was growing up, she struggled with her...desires and made quite a bunch of enemies. Amy wasn't mean-spirited and the hatred of other people really took a toll on her. As a result, she went through a period of extreme self-loathing and disgust. Joining the Ju-jitsu Club and going to Subarashii Academy was really her saving grace, what with the battles and competitive atmosphere acting as a small outlet. Eventually, Amy came to accept her weirdness and now lives as an in-the-closet sadist.

Other:

Despite what you might think, Amy isn't really all that interested in her own "intimate relationships". She'd much rather be on the sidelines watching a couple's drama unfold.

Also, she really likes swimming; she used to be in a club in middle school.

I think I just made some Anime stereotypes...( :o )

"I'll become the best fighter! Just watch!"

Name:

Kara Seidel

Gender:

Female

Age:

Fifteen

Height:

5'6 or 172 cm

Weight:

138 lbs or 62.6 kg

Country/Nationality:

Germany or German

Personality:

A bright and eager person, Kara is a fiery ball of passion who will stop at nothing to achieve her dreams; to become the best fighter in the world. Although she has little to no martial arts knowledge, Kara's a firm believer of shoot for the moon and knock that natural satellite out of the solar system. She's overly competitive and sometimes disregards the rules and regulations when she's hyped up.

She's loyal to a fault and seems to jump at the chance to rile things up and fight someone. Kara's a physical person who acts before she thinks. Heck, I'm not even sure Kara even thinks afterwards and I'm the narrator! But she usually means for the best. She's rash and her grades aren't that high but if she puts her mind to it, Kara can do practically anything. You've just got to believe.

Kara is often called oblivious as she's not very good at reading the mood of the situation. She often wrecks things by accident, causing other people to try and keep her away from anything that could possibly go wrong. However, she truly is a gifted individual. Kara may not be detail oriented but she learns quickly and is determined to win. She just needs a little work. Well, maybe a lot of work.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

Checking out all the clubs; boxing and muay thai look cool.

Bio:

no slide
Comedic Attempt @ tl;dr
Her family of eight immigrated from the countryside of Germany to America. She was just a girl with incredible physical abilities. He was just an older brother watching a movie. Jackie Chan was just an actor in that movie. But Kara was inspired by that cool dude anyway. Jackie Chan was just so awesome that Kara watched all of the Rush Hour movies and tried to be like the main character from Karate Kid.

What was that kid's name again? Eh, Kara didn't care. She just watched it for Jackie Chan anyway. For years, Kara begged her parents to enroll her in Subarashi Academy but they just didn't have the cash money! So, she got a job at a nearby McRonald's (not to be confused with McDonald's) to convince her parents. It worked but Kara still had to sneak into the office to hand in her application.

Good thing no one noticed the extra application in the stack since she sneaked it in three hours past office hours.

Actual Bio
Kara's childhood story isn't a dramatic one but nor is it mediocre. She grew up as one of the six Seidel children and was only ten when her family immigrated to America. They lived in a small apartment close to the bakery factory where her father worked. He would bring home beautiful cakes whenever there was a birthday or holiday and they were a rather jolly family.

However, both of the parents worked multiple jobs to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. All six of the Seidel children were left alone for most of their days, usually going outside to play with the neighbourhood children. It was a fun time, getting stuck on roofs, and scolded by the old lady next door.

School was an entirely different subject for Kara. She was a quick learner but she had always loathed the long hours of learning, constantly yearning to go outside and play. PE was obviously her best subject. Growing up with five other siblings made her overly competitive, it was a dog eat dog world in her house and she portrayed that pretty well in her day to day class.

She never joined any extracurricular sports due to lack of funds but in school, Kara was the first pick for dodgeball if that captain wasn’t scared of cooties. Soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, rugby, Kara played it all. She was a naturally athletic girl with a fiery passion to win and she still is. It was all fun and games until she watched a Jackie Chan movie.

The movie Rush Hour changed her life at the young age of eleven when her brother was watching it in the living room. Jackie Chan was just so cool and funny that Kara immediately looked up to him. Her room was soon filled with Jackie Chan posters and merchandise. She wanted to be exactly like him when she was older.

“He is Mi and I am Yu” from Rush Hour 3 was a constant joke in the Seidel household because of Kara. From Kung Fu Panda to Dragon Blade, Kara watched them all for the Jackie Chan fight scenes. She’d run to her older brother and ask to wash his car just to practice “wax on” and “wax off”. She even painted the entire house beige, mimicking the training scenes from Karate Kid.

Kara became a complete action weeabo; she watched every Jackie Chan movie and knew the Bourne series by heart. If you asked her, she loved Jeremy Renner in the Bourne Legacy and the Avengers. However, it really worried her parents when she started all this bending nonsense from Avatar: The Last Airbender. You see, Kara loved martial arts and Jackie Chan.

When Kara heard about Subarashi Academy, she begged her parents for two years to let her enroll there. This was her chance to really become like Jackie Chan! Sure, she didn’t have real martial arts training but she also promised her parents she’d get a part-time job to help cover the costs if they let her go to Subarashi Academy.

So, after dropping off her resume at a McRonald’s (not to be confused with McDonald’s) franchise near the school, she rushed straight to the academy, hoping to get there before the office hours closed for the day. It was the last application day and she hadn’t gotten her papers in so she was pretty desperate when she sort of…threatened the janitor to let her in.

Months later, Kara finally got the reply; she would be attending Subarashi Academy starting this fall and she pretty darn excited.

Other:

Courtney Lyon? Yeah, they're the bro-est of bros. They met while watching a Jackie Chan movie.

She can't speak German; only English but she likes to use Spanish phrases since that's what they teach in American public schools.

Name

Jin Wáng

Gender

Male

Age

16

Height

5'8"

Weight

135 lbs

Country/Nationality

Chinese heritage

Personality

There is always a certain atmosphere that surrounds Jin, one that gives him the presence of a noble or perhaps even a hardened commander leading troops into war. The young man usually comes off as intimidating, as if he is a king among commoners. For this reason, many are initially surprised upon discovering his mild-mannered personality.

Jin was brought up to be polite and show respect to those that deserve it, trained in proper etiquette that was often displayed by those he grew up around. It blends with the royal-esque nature that seems to intimidate people at first glance, walking with a certain grace of a refined individual that does not come off as pompous. Along with his standing as one of the top ranking students within the academy, this presence has garnered him a favorable reputation among both the male and female students.

As one would expect, Jin excels in academics, but he is not limited to general studies alone. The red-haired student has been trained to succeed in many areas, including those that have become the focus of Subarashi's extracurricular activities. Equal in both brain and brawn, he is quite the formidable opponent.

Jin's success is mostly attributed to his upbringing, raised to fit a certain role. He was taught that losing is never an option, winning always a must. However, that is where the problems of a seemingly perfect individual begin.

It is almost an obsession with victory that consumes him, a hidden personality beneath the surface. While most would dislike the idea of being defeated, it is simply not an option for this young man. Victory is everything, required to stand above all others.

Despite how success is his primary focus, Jin does not give much thought to winning. It is a natural process, occurring no matter what is done. For that reason, he may appear somewhat indifferent towards achievement. It is simply expected of him. However, when someone challenges that expectation, he grows far worse.

For those that dare challenge an emperor's rule, he will force those below him to bow their heads, crushing them with a condescending attitude as he holds nothing back. Nobody goes against him or stands in his way, a law he will enforce ruthlessly. In this regard, he is quite sadistic.

He stands above all, something nobody is allowed to forget. A flip of a mental switch is all it takes to turn a seemingly calm man into a demon from Hell. Even in that land of fire, he would still conquer.

Club

President of the Kung Fu club

Bio

Everything he could ever want or need was always within his grasp, but he never actively sought it out. Instead, his hands were forced to latch on to what they were given. While many would seek it out, a life of prestige was not one of comfort.

His father was a wealthy and respected man that followed his own path, one that led him to his well-deserved reputation in a similar fashion to his own parents. A businessman that strove for perfection, his stoic and obstinate nature would only allow him to accept the best, both in business and the little pleasure he indulged in. His child would be no exception.

With a woman coming from what his own family would refer to as "lower birth", he brought a new life into this world, a product of their union. Like everything else he had produced within the personal empire, it would be optimized, destined for greatness and nothing less. Anything below excellence was unacceptable.

Living as the aforementioned product, Jin was raised as an heir to the wealthy household. He had to succeed in all areas, no matter how far they may have been from one another. It was his duty, obligated to live up to the name he carried and the blood that flowed through his veins. It did not matter how tired he may have become or how much he may have disliked being molded into a flawless object. He was not a child, only a member of a family that accepted nothing but perfection.

The process of being groomed into a flawless gem was taxing, Jin never very fond of the role he was forced to play. However, he followed instructions diligently and with the respect that he had been taught to display. It was never too much for him, despite how the feeling of emptiness tried to claim him. Each day, he managed to keep up the bright and cheery smile, a kind child that managed to remain as such thanks to the one person he could always turn to for comfort.

While he may have found no warmth from the strict patriarch, he still respected the man and did as he asked. It was the one he married that displayed the much needed kindness. His mother remained as his only support as he endured, allowing him to still feel like a child at times as she told fairy tales and indulged in humorous games. Jin had always been told to win, mention of loss never allowed to slip through his lips as he was meant to sit atop a throne made for that of a king. However, his mother cared for none of that, valuing his happiness above all else.

In those brief moments he was permitted to act his age, he enjoyed being doted on by his dear mother, contrasting from the bland talks with mentors that followed any and all accomplishments. It was expected of him, normal for the boy to succeed in everything. Unlike them, his mother treated everything he did as special, the woman that acted as his ray of light bestowing him with a smile that could make flowers bloom. While she may have not cared for pursuits of perfection and how victory was always a given, Jin felt as though he could never lose with her at his side.

Their loving bond and close proximity would soon be cut off by white sheets, a familiar warmth replaced by cold flesh. It ruined him on the inside, having lost the pillar that kept him above the clouds. Now, he was crumbling and his father could sense that. The aging man could tell that the throne he had constructed for the next heir was breaking apart, something he could not allow to happen. In exchange to keep the throne intact, he would destroy the one that he had raised to sit upon it and would rebuild him.

While Jin may have weeped for his mother, his father remained standing with the face of an iron giant, unperturbed by the rain that disguised the tears at his late wife's grave. Eyes buried within small hands would widen as the boy heard that man's next words, removing him from despair out of pure shock. "She was weak".

The woman was weak, unable to withstand the cruel fate of disease. It was that weakness of hers that led to loss. She was not strong enough. It was impossible for her to win. It was that simple.

Jin could not recall the expression he held that day, a mixture of pain, sadness, anger, and horror. It was a mix of emotions that would only continue to stir as his father spoke once again, asking him a question that would unknowingly change his life. Did he want to meet the same fate?

If he was not strong enough, he would meet the same fate of his mother. The one that had supported him would see him fall into the dirt and be buried in it. A disappointment. A failure. Was that what he wanted? To wither? Was he truly so pitiful?

'Win. Loss. Fail. Succeed. Life. Death. Mother. Father. Perfection.' As he absorbed each of those words and played them through his mind, he could feel something break.

He was not weak. He was strong. He was born to succeed, failure a foreign concept. He would sit upon that throne and obtain victory, as it was the only option. It was simple, a calm face replacing one of sorrow as he saw nothing else but the destiny that had been constructed for him.

At that moment, Jin had died. He was no longer the same person he once was. While he may have held a shred of his former self, it was crushed by the iron fist of an emperor, one that ruled over all and achieved everything he was meant to. There was no going back for him.

Throughout the years, Jin succeeded in every field, maintaining perfect grades and performing the best in every sport under the sun that lit his path to greatness. It never came as a surprise, winning as natural as breathing. It was simply something that couldn't be changed, even if he tried.

That road of his led him to Subarashi Academy, a high-end location of knowledge. While he may have reigned above others in regards to scores, he was no stranger to the other activities offered to the gathered youths that could only be found within this school. The young man made this clear very quickly.

Within this first year, Jin moved through the school like a rampaging tempest, an unstoppable force that no one could oppose. He claimed the position of president in the Kung Fu club, a mere step on the stairway he continued to climb. His pace was never slowed, no matter what came his way. Not even the Baron Championship. Even as the award was presented, he felt nothing. It was expected of him, victory always guaranteed.

Despite his many accomplishments, Jin will not stop there. Even if it seems as though he has reached the limiting sky, he will pierce the heavens and continue to climb. Nothing will stop him from achieving victory, from holding all within his grasp. No one defies an emperor or his conquests.

In all his life, he has never lost.

Other

Experienced in various forms of martial arts, Jin uses a mixed bag of tricks in his movements. In addition, his abilities allow him to fixate on the movements of others as well, detecting specific patterns that have been carved into his mind.

Name: Summer Reid

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Height: 5'4" ft

Weight: 112 lbs

Country/Nationality: American heritage

Personality: Summer never seems to be in a bad mood nor says anything bad about anyone but herself. She's an optimist in the extreme. Sure, she seems innocent and gullible, more a little child than a teenager, but she is extremely perceptive, as well as intelligent academically.

She strives to brighten up people's days to bring purpose into her life and she likes to think of herself as the one to go to if you have a problem. She's bubbly and talks a lot, this being a reflection of her dislike of silence and solitude.

She is extremely loyal and would rather get herself in trouble than to let her friends' trust waver. Her main motivation is to make her parents proud by getting into the Olympics.

She is perhaps a little too laid back, but all that disappears when you get her fighting. She always participates to win and feel proud of herself and get rid of her low self-esteem for a while. She can annoy people what with her constant chatter but she means well. Another fault of hers is that she sometimes forgets to give people space when they're upset.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

  • Member of Kung Fu Club
  • Member of Muay Thai Club
  • Member of Judo Club

Bio: Summer's parents aren't exactly doing well and she was brought up to do her best to get a good job. She went a little left of field however, focusing more on Kung Fu than her academics. They scolded her at first, but they saw how much she loved it and how good she was. So when she received a scholarship to Subarashi Academy, they were happy for her and understood that this was what she wanted so much. They are not activists in Kung Fu themselves but they encourage Summer constantly and they know that with a little elbow grease, she can get there.

Summer was born in Topeka, Kansas and was the perfect little girl. Her parents adored her and so did everyone around her. She was 'as cute as a button', what with her white-blonde hair and her big blue eyes.

When she was 11, she watched a demonstration of Kung Fu at a martial arts festival and was captivated. She begged her parents to let her have classes but they refused, thinking it was 'far too violent for such a young child'.

Then a flyer for free Kung Fu classes by a retired master went up. Summer, knowing that her parents would refuse once again, went in private, pretending she was going to a friend's house more than once.

She mastered the basics but then the master just left.

So Summer was left on her own to professionally practise every single technique that she had been taught, no matter how simple it seemed, for four years.

Other: Summer is an experienced martial artist, focusing upon Kung Fu.

Weight:

132 lbs.

Country/Nationality:

Native American/United States

Personality:

Some would say that Mia prefers book characters over socializing. Some might be right. Mia was born for a love of books. Living in the middle of nowhere when she was younger, lead her to get some hobbies of reading, listening and observing. Reading is the one thing that she believes keeps her interesting. She can state random facts from books she had read, which sometimes alienates her from her peers. Mia does have a knack for trying to put characters into people she meets, which is a bad habit of hers. Sometimes, somebody has to shake her up from fiction. That is one thing she also wants to be, she wants to write about her adventures in Subarashi Academy. She is known to grow irritated when somebody is being loud or taking her attention away from a book. Be careful, for she can blow a fuse and do something unexpected. Quick to also grow embarrassed after sudden outbursts, she would rather be invisible after those events. But all is fine, when she is in the middle of a good book. Only when she is interested in that book, she normally zones out. Which can be quite bad, she has never paid attention to her surroundings. This would normally result in her getting grounded, for she would arrive home late. Mia could remember the time she stayed at a crosswalk due to reading. She did not arrive until two hours after school got over. Most people think she kind of blends in with the environment. Mia does want friends, but she wants them to understand she likes to be alone sometimes. Books have a huge influence on her personality.

She does have a pension for cute things, she absolutely loves cute things. Her room is full of cute things, stuffed animals, different pillows, pencils. After falling in love with the pets at her Parents shop, she became attracted to many cute things. Which leads to her obsession with hugging them. She cuddles after having so many animals to love. Mia cannot keep her hands off of cute things. She could recall a time where her teachers were upset that she brought a rabbit to school and sat with it in her class. She refused to hand over the rabbit, or she would hide it every day. That was how her classroom ended up getting a class pet, not free of charge though. Mia stayed inside to take care of it after being library assistant. She will not let of the item either, so you have to use force. So beware of Mia when she is not reading.

Mia is usually stoic, and normally blunt. When she is not stuck in the world of a book, she tries to chat normally, but ends in some kind of disaster. She hates having to come up with a topic, it is her weakness. That weakness normally brings what others find as blunt, but she means good. Her topics range very broadly, and can sometimes interest or repel her peers. She normally takes a fifty-fifty chance trying to talk to somebody. Her voice comes out monotone, which leads others to think she's weird.

Mia is quite interested in fencing, due to a love from a book called The Fencing Master. She wants to become a great Fencer, learning terms, will not be the same as experiencing it, which leads her to be a little excited.

Bio:

Mia was born on a Native American Reservation, which lead to her growing up mostly with family. This family was quite unconventional as she was the only girl in a family of boys, besides her Mom. She spent most of her time in her parents shop, school, bookstores, or the library. This lead to her not having much social interaction with many of the citizens in her small town. Mia volunteered at the animal shelter, and was going to a Private school on the Reservation. Growing up in only a family of boys, she never really got into girly phases. Such as wanting barbies, while she wanted books. She could normally confuse her teachers as they were surprised she would rather read than head outside. So, they officially brought her in as Librarian's assistant during lunchtime.

Not in the mood to deal with others, she stopped upon a book called The Fencing Master. There she learned that there was a school that taught Fencing as professional as possible. Mia worked on her grades to earn herself a scholarship, and begging her Father to let her attend. Her father grudgringly allowed her to attend, after she threatened to release most of the animals in the shop.

Country/Nationality:

"I'm from the U.S., as anyone might guess, but I'm from the Native American Apache tribes. Suck that."

Personality:

"Well, everyone has their opinion of me, as they rightfully should. Those with power and status ought to be looked at, gawked at, made the subject of social media and bedroom fantasies. But, I'll certainly say something for you all. I'm a fighter. My being, my life, revolves around beating people up. It's what I do, and I'm good at it. My parents didn't see it, they didn't care, but you're hearing it and seeing it now, ha.

"I mean, some don't like me, but that's their own damn fault. They call me sleezy... they call me a slut... they think I'll make out with whoever I please. And they better believe I will! No one has the right, yet obviously they have the gall, to tell me what I can or can't do with my life. Those are the negative idiots you want gone from your life. Baby, believe me, I can spot those kids from a mile away. I'll know when I see you if you'll be my friend or not, or if you're even worth talking to. Hun, it doesn't take a genius. This body doesn't lie.

"You all have dirty little secrets, but you won't admit them! I'll admit to mine, I can show you all, and that makes me strong. It doesn't take a best friend or some babe for me to share my feelings... you'll know of them alright. Though, I will say... you sometimes miss an old life, yeah? Yeah, well I do occasionally. Don't miss my parents, but it's alright to miss my friends in America. I was strong then, but I'm stronger now. I'm better now. Still... having that close buddy to talk to, to open up to, to cry on... you miss it sometimes. Not that you'd care."

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

"I'm proud to say that I'm in Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and Judo. Hell, I'll be joining Taekwondo too once I'm bored with the others, haha!"

Bio:

"Everyone vies for some gossip, am I right? Ha, yeah, well I'll give you some babe. Being a woman, a fighter, out of this world, I'm already damn sexy, but as a minority, you know you can't shield those eyes of yours. And neither can the state. Neither can the world. Minorities get scholarships to make up for how society treats them. They tear you down then throw some free cash in, right? It doesn't heal the wounds, but hell, I don't care. I own up to the fact that I'm here at Subarashi due to the utter bullshit kindness of scholarships.

"So there you have it. Apache, bitch. Hella sexy, right? Yeah, well it wasn't like that before coming here. I used to really get caught up in my fantasies and dreams, you know. I'm something now, but I wasn't then. Back in America, my dreams, my passion, and my fantasies made me strong, but they weren't enough to survive. My parents didn't understand. Those 18th century traditionalist relics didn't give a crap; they gave me crap.

"'You are a disgrace!' they'd say, before launching into some tribal bull. Like I cared.

"See, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, as I kind of hinted at already. But I wasn't born on native land either. Nope. My mom shot me out in the ghettos of the Northwest, and from birth I remained there until now. You learn to survive when surrounded by scum; you learn to be strong. I used to have to take a knife with me when leaving the house because I was afraid. Not joking at all. I was weak, but eventually it changed. There was no build up to the moment - it just happened. I decided to leave the knife at home one day, for it was a sign of my weakness, and I wanted to be strong. So I trained myself to think that way, to live my life that way. Some idiot thought he could pick me up on the bus? Hell no! I crushed his nuts. In my body I found the courage to put myself out there - to go out at night and not fear strangers, to ride the bus and instill fear in the pedophiles.

"Until now, talking to you, I've been strong, and I just keep growing! Imagine, my parents and I didn't even part with smiles on our faces. Not a tear was shed when I left. How they'll soon regret it, ha."

Other:

"Mm, my groove, babe."

Name:

Geun Kang

Gender:

Male

Age:

16

Height:

6'1"

Weight:

160 lbs.

Country/Nationality:

South Korea/Korean

Personality:

Most would describe Geun as a man whose determination and strength is matched only by his love for life. Geun believes few are as fortunate as him to have seen death and lived through it, let alone to come back to life so strong and empowered. Nothing drives him more, gives him that desirable high humans chase, than to be out in nature, surrounded by a veil of silence, training. Whether it be hand to hand combat or weaponry, Geun pours himself into it as deeply as the great scholars let books consume them. His passion and desires wrap around the barest concept of strength. There is nothing Geun craves more. However, that being said, Geun isn't the kind of person who uses his ability to step on others. His strength is used for nothing more than self-improvement, as are his other actions in life.

Though not the most open, friendly person, nor possessing a great desire to socialize, Geun is kind and as down-to-earth as he appears at a glance. His conversation skills could evidently use brushing up on, but as people say, it's the thought that counts. He means no harm to anyone, and he struggles keeping grudges too. But if one primary fault can be attributed to his name, it would be Geun's lack of regard for others, even as unintentional as it may be. Through his ambition and his dreams he often misses how he has treated others before it's already too late. At a school as prestigious as Subarashi, it isn't an uncommon problem, but Geun's trouble does not derive from his heritage but rather from himself. The personality that he quickly developed after his recovery lacks many basic human functions, namely those involving social skills.

Club Interested or Already Part Of:

President of Kendo and member of Kung Fu and Muay Thai. Interested in most other clubs as well.

Bio:

Geun's name is spelled with the Korean hanja for strength, a worthy proclamation by his parents for the future. However, as a baby, even as a young teenager, Geun was indescribably weak. The smallest effort on his part would result in total exhaustion, sometimes fits of coughing. He was commonly bed ridden and doted upon by his parents, who, reluctantly, cared for the ill child.

Originally when the signs of his condition became known to this parents, they thought something in his blood wasn't quite right, or perhaps he was taken with asthma. Both issues could've been easily cured, but Geun's case wasn't so. There was nothing simple about his condition in the very slightest, as blind treatment after blind treatment showed to be as fruitless as the last. Eventually the Kangs were forced to dig deeper for dying Geun, and you could say the ill truth was brought to them in the nick of time. He had lung cancer.

Though only present in Geun's left lung, if the lung died he would surely follow. It was a grim situation with no timely solution. Geun would have to undergo therapy and wait it out. His parents only had their prayers and hopes to rely on, but seeing their son bed ridden in the hospital day after day only smashed what remained of their feeble faith. In time, the Kang's visits to Geun in the hospital decreased to once or twice a week, and the still boy Geun, who had been named for the strength he was supposed to carry, sank deeper than ever before into depression and utter darkness. He had no friends, no siblings; an entire childhood he missed out on thanks to his condition. Regardless of his recovery, nothing could remedy the years of his life that he missed.

And it was, in fact, years before Geun left the confines of his hospital. But when he finally did, it was by some alien miracle that blessed him. His lungs were cured.

After the toils and pains of a lifetime, Geun began to feel joy swell in his heart, meaning enter into his previously hopeless life. The parents that had neglected him during the darkest hours of his life returned to him with tears, open arms, and pleas for forgiveness. With honesty and joy he accepted them in turn. Yes, Geun Kang was born again, late as it was. However, his recovery was nothing more than a silver lining, for he hadn't been cured. There was still a chance, small as it was, that the cancer would return to haunt him again. To Geun, this meant his life couldn't be perfect until the last drop of poison in his lungs was sucked out. And he planned to suck it out.

Nothing gave Geun more drive than the months following his recovery. He worked out, he began martial arts, and he poured his entire being into cleansing his mind. Every day for an hour or more he'd meditate to reach a mental state of total peace. It gave him greater strength than he could ever otherwise achieve, but more than just that, it continued to give him the drive he needed on his mission: to cure his lung cancer. It was a remedy to him that conquered any prescription doctors could presumably force upon him and his family. Such was his determination that he insisted on being home schooled so that his time could be better spent feeding his goals. However, after a time private tutors were brought to his house to professionally instruct him in the martial arts he wished to pursue. Quickly he adapted to their teachings and developed great technique, regardless of the school of martial art and the little time he had had to practice. Forms from many styles became muscle memory in his head, and as an opponent he was able to pick up on his adversary's movements with superior skill. Indeed, he was growing to live up to the hope and faith his parents had placed within as a Kang.

For three years this was Geun's life, until at last word of Subarashi Academy reached his ears. He couldn't have felt more blessed - it was as if the school were made for him. Already with his expertise in Kendo, Muay Thai, and Wing Chun Do, Geun knew he was eligible for the school, and with the infinite number of other martial arts there he'd be frolicking in heaven. His parents weren't the wealthiest, but seeing their son's passion and still feeling the regret from his hospitalization, they couldn't resist granting him his wish.

Geun set out for the academy, with fire in his heart and a courage to topple nations. He would exact revenge on the cancer that had robbed him half of his life; he would be made whole again.

"Herro, bitches. Stefani Dahteste's the name.

"Haven't seen me around before? Girls come from Venus, didn't you know?"

Appearance Details:

"My hair is normally black, but I really prefer it silver. Natural isn't what I go for - I go for me, and silver's me. If you're out of this world, you've got to flaunt it."

"Some call me a slut, but who gives a crap. I like my crop tops, booty shorts, and leggings. They're comfortable, like me, and the boys dig 'em. And who do people think they are to call me a slut for dressing comfortably? God."

Gender:

"Does this look like man cleavage to you, or are you just trying to call me flat? I'll have you know, I got more than just these guns, honey."

Age:

"I'm 17. Don't forget it."

Height:

"Mm, I'm 5'1". Wanna laugh? That's really too bad, because my height will be your doom in the ring."

Weight:

"I don't weigh myself often, actually... but last I checked I was still 109 lbs."

Name:

Geun Kang

Gender:

Male

Age:

16

Height:

6'1"

Weight:

Name:

Chung Jia Shen

Gender:

Male

Age:

17

Height:

187 cm

Weight:

68 kg

Country/Nationality:

Chinese

Personality:

Does everything at his own pace, and does not like being ordered around. Uncommitted, and prefers to follow his own moral compass. He is also very chill with things he has no opinion on, and prefers defending instead of attacking. Gets stressed easily, so usually he lets his steam off by skipping school/whatever commitments he has and chilling by the beach.

He gets a kick from being different from others, and gets internally upset when people try to make him conform to standards. Has high tolerance to people bullying him, and usually shrugs it off with a smile.

Club Interested:

Judo & Akido

Bio:

Born to a poor family in Malaysia, Jia Shen was given up for adoption to a rich family. He grew up peacefully by the beach with said rich family, but never wondering why he looked so different compared to his older brother. His parents always kept telling him to be whoever he wanted to be, and to not be afraid of being different.

When he started elementary school, all his classmates started shunning him by the first day because of how different he was; and they started bullying him. Although Jia Shen does not like it, he just tolerated it by smiling. However, it always kept building up in him, and one day, he was called up by a bunch of bullies from his class and was verbally abused by them. Not being able to take it any longer, he broke down and lashed back at them, asking why he was being targeted just because he was different. Enraged, they started to beat him up, and he didn’t stand a chance, being a scrawny kid.

After that incident happened, his foster parents took him away to a better private school in KL, and started sending him to boxing classes for self-defence. However, he hated hurting other people physically, and his instructor noticed that. The instructor decides to show him a technique in judo, and saw that Jia Shen was happier instead of boxing, and thus he was transferred to a judo class.

When he started middle school, the classes became more stressful, and being unable to take it any longer, he frequently skipped school, causing him to be in trouble with his school. While he was outside skipping school, he liked to go to the beach and catch the waves. This continued for a while, and soon his parents caught him, and decided to send him off to boot camp. Not wanting to suffer there, he packed his bags and ran away, not before stealing his mum’s bag, which contained her purse.

As soon as he left the estate, he took the bus to the airport and flew to Osaka, where a judo master saw him defending himself in a fight with some street thugs. The judo master decided to take him in as a student, and he taught him Japanese, judo, and maintaining the dojo.

When he turned 17, his master decided he has learnt all from him, and sent him to Subarashi Academy, an academy where he heard was taking in students who are good in martial arts and fighting.

Other:

His birthday is 10th July

He likes ice creams and watermelons because it reminded him of the beach.

He dislikes cockroaches and the dark.

Although he was bullied from being different, he didn’t like to be the same like the others, and rationalised with himself that if he can protect himself, he can be as different as he wants to be.

He originally had to wear glasses, so now he wears contacts because he thought it made him look so much cooler.

He grew out his hair and dyed it silver because he felt like the state of his hair should not affect his studies.

Despite skipping school, he has above average grades and usually fails because he is so frequently absent to the point where the administrators debarred him from taking the exams.

This sounds interesting. I think I'll be making a twin for this RP if that is alright. Russian/Polish kids, boy and a girl.

Do the images have to be anime/drawings, or can they be realistic/photo's?
