Students of the DWMA - Are you a meister, or weapon?

Welcome to the Death Weapon Meister Academy, or the DWMA!
This is a special school for those with the ability to transform into powerful weapons, and those with the ability to wield said weapons.


Besides Weapon and Meister, the school is separated into two groups:


NOT for the newer students who cannot fully control their abilities,


and EAT, the advanced classes that go out on dangerous missions in hopes to create a Death Scythe.


Now for the most important question,

It was the first day at the DWMA, all the new students were gathered in a room. Meisters were on the left of the room, weapons on the right, each, also wearing a nametag with either "meister" or "weapon" written across.


Sid, the instructor stood by the door.


"Now that everyone is here," he started, "it's time to pair up. One meister to a weapon. Be careful in your choice, for a meister and weapon is a life long bond." Sid instructed as he watched his new students begin to whisper between each other.
 

"Well this is so sudden..." Arcangelo muttered as he scanned around to take a glimpse of the other students. This was too much like speed dating. How were you supposed to feel some type of connection with somebody you're only just meeting? It was stupid and there was no way that he was going to find anybody like that. Slightly agitated he tugged at his tie- a typical habit of this formal man.


A weapon...he was going to need a weapon. This was pointless though. He really had no care in the world for a future in soul reaping but now that he was going to be tied down with a partner, he'd feel nothing but obligated to do his best just for his partner because that was the type of person he was. He didn't plan to make anybody's life miserable or crush somebody's hopes and dreams just because his parents trampled over his. It was unfair and unjust but the fact he was now going to have to try made him irritated.


Maybe if I just sit here til the very end, Sid will find out he had screwed up his calculations and I'll be the odd one out- weaponless and now wouldn't that be a shame? He smirked slightly at that thought. It may not happen and there was a probability that it wouldn't but Arcangelo didn't mind dreaming.

Fuyuki looked at the group of Meisters, trying to see if he could feel a connection with at least one. As he scanned the group his eyes fell upon a girl, around his age maybe younger, she had long black hair. Fuyuki could feel some kind of connection with her but no one else, 'Maybe she could wield my power?' He asked himself as he continued to scan the Meisters.
 
Sora Stared at Sid for a moment standing at the side with the other meisters, pulling off his hood revealing his oddly pure white hair the hair was long enough to reach the bridge of his nose but it was pushed up so it didn't tickle his face. his grey eyes scanning each of the weapons wondering which was right for him, "Why so sudden? I don't know these people." Sora whispered to himself. He took one of his hands and pulled it over his right eye, Small souls appearing of the weapons all of them different maybe one I can bond with. Sora has never been with this amount of people before it made him nervous a red blush appearing across Sora's face.
 
Ria wanted to protest but instead kept her mouth shut. "Crazy school." She muttered before beginning to scan the crowd. Need a weapon... Weapon lets see... She thought. Preferably a blade... She thought, nodding. "It's more of the weapons' choice though." She said to herself
 
'I may not be able to see souls but she seems compatible' He thought to himself after looking a Ria. Fuyuki stopped looking and turned his head at the floor, 'I'm so confused, how is this meant to work, does someone say what weapon they are and picks a Meister or the Meister walks out and asks what weapon we are then choose? Damn this is annoying' Fuyuki looked up at Sid, "How do we choose?" He asked him
 
Sid laughed a bit before using the question to address all the students. "This may seem a bit sudden, and intimidating, but that's just how it works. If you feel a connection, just go for it. That's the best advice I could give you." He said before sitting down in a chair.


Ria rolled her eyes. "How does that help?" She tried to see the souls of the people in the room, but it faded quickly. "Wolf's better with sensing souls..." She hummed.
 
"A connection, huh?" Fuyuki walked forward into the middle, he looked at Ria. "Excuse me?" He directed at Ria
 
Ria turned as she heard someone talking, realizing it was aimed at her. She looked and noticed the "weapon" tag on the boy, who seemed maybe a bit older than herself. He's different than the others... She thought.


"Yeah?" She replied, not used to talking to people.
 
"Can we speak?" He asked once more, indicating he want to speak to her privately so everyone else could get on with choosing their partners
 
"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure." Ria nodded and began walking away from the crowd. This is easier than I expected. She thought.
 
Ria stopped in front of Fuyuki and held her hand out. "Ria Sage." She said. Wonder what he transforms into. She thought.
 
Fuyuki shook her hand, "I felt some sort of connection when I looked at you" He tried to explain, "I'm a Sword, a Katana; Known as 'The Dragon's Wrath'" He said after his first statement.
 
Ria nodded. "Felt it too, sorta." She said in response to his first statement. "Katana, huh? That's usually my weapon of choice in combat practice." She said with a smile.
 
Ria grinned. "That'd be awesome!" She thought, also thinking of how she could show off to the rest of the students.
 
"Ok then" Fuyuki transformed himself into his weapon form, the blade flew down and balanced on the floor by the very tip of the blade
 
Ria lifted the transformed weapon and swung it around to test the weight. "Not bad." She said with a grin before showing off with a few martial arts forms.


Finally she stopped and said. "So how 'bout it? Us as a team?"

"Sure" The hum replied. Fuyuki turned back into his normal form, "Well then... Meister? Master? What do I call you?" He smiled
