Hello everyone, welcome to yet another interest check. I am looking for a group to roleplay in the Persona universe with and go through this original story and decide the fate of the world as we know it. This story will be homebrew with me playing NPCs/enemies/allies to aid your characters through their journey. This story will take place in the fictional city of Zion, which has a diverse population. Players will take control of Persona Users and battle otherworldly monsters and solve the mystery of the Conspiracy.

Rules
1. There will be no Velvet Room or Igor, you will awaken/summon your Persona Jojo style. Mostly because the Velvet room is a main protag thing, and I don't like it.
2. You can be any age in this.
4. Personas can be any theme.
5. Everyone will get a chance to shine.
6. I will not allow people to be op.
7. Looking for a co GM for this, if you want to be one contact me.

What type of world are we working with?

Yeah,in this stage it could help to know what kind of city Zion is.

Also,a broad idea of who the antagonists are,not necessarily faces and names but what kind of people/being they are and their broad goals.

The city is a big metropolis, sort of like Tokyo or New York. I am expecting to have the players to live in apartments around the city. There is no plants or trees around in a 10-mile radius from the City Center. So, you could make a nature type person who is not a fan of the city but forced to live here. But that is not the main theme, just one factor to consider in this world. People are often overlooked in Zion since there are so many people living there, not a lot of people get noticed and some people are flat out ignored by the mayor. Poverty is quite a big factor in Zion, unless you luck out and can live out of the city. You could have a rich character who lives in the suburbs of Zion. Zion also has a college, which is kept up pretty nicely as opposed to the city.

The antagonists are going to be a part of the working class and are fed up with the order around Zion. Of course, the mayor is going to be an antagonist but not as big as the others. The antagonists seek to use the other world to their advantage and the power of Persona. They will work with some shadows who are capable of speech and combat. The world ending bit will be the mistake of trusting shadows to help them achieve their goals.

Now I will allow you the choice on if you want your character to already have been awakened or not. If you want a flashy outfit for the other world then so be it. I am allowing player freedom to an extent.
