Realistic or Modern Stranded

Violet ran to the open water as fast as she could, avoiding other people as best as she could. But she stopped when she heard a girl cry for help. She made a quick decision to run over to the voice. It was a young girl, and her arm was stuck to the seat. "This might hurt." Violet said, and pulled the piece of metal out of the girls arm. She screamed in pain. Violet grabbed the girls hand and said, "Come on, this way. We gotta get out." The plane was sinking fast and by the time she got out of the broken plane, she was under water. Good thing she knew how to swim. She starting swimming in the direction she hoped was up. Relief flooded through her when her hand hit air. After her head bobbed above the water, she inflated her life jacket.

Eli had gotten out quicker than most people, so by the time others reached the surface, he was there helping anyone who needed help. "There's land over there," He told the girls who had just took a deep breath of air, after breaking through the water. "That's our best bet. Swim there and stay close to the shore." The girl started to swim to the island.

Vanoss had made it to the island and turned and looked back at the sinking wreckage of the plane. He laughed to himself and shook his head in disbelief that it'd actually happened, he felt something nudge his and looked down and noticed the body of either the pilot or the co-pilot and he had an small emergency red duffel bag draped over both shoulders like a backpack. Vanoss smiled and drug the body onto shore and took the bag. He zipped it open and shifted through the contents. Fresh water, a combat/survival knife, several flares, a flint and steel, energy bars, a cell phone and a GPS unit. Vanoss pulled both the GPS unit and the cell phone out and tried to turn them on, and after several tries got angry and threw them out into the ocean. They were both waterlogged and useless anyway.

Violet finally reached the beach. She collapsed onto the land as soon as she could. The crash and the long-ish swim exhausted her. She laid there for a while, until she realized that she probably shouldn't stay here for too long, since the waves kept washing up and covering her. A couple times it got in her mouth, but she was too tired to care. Eventually the water started to annoy her enough to where she stood on her feet. She just wanted to be dry.

Eli floated in the water for a little bit, waiting for any one else to come up to the surface, but nobody had come up for a while. He wanted to swim down to the plane and make sure everybody who was alive got out, but he knew his life jacket would restrict him from going to deep under the water. He turned and started swimming to the beach.

Vanoss turned his wrist over and looked at his combat diver watch, he knew it was getting late and he would need a fire and some shelter. He looked around on the beach and he seemed to be alone. It was only him and the corpse of a crew member. He sighed and began his walk inland to find supplies for a shelter.

Saav shook her head as the daze began to fade at least a little bit before moving beside the woman placing one hand against their upper legs and the other against their chest before lifting her up directly off the section of metal and dropping them to one side without seeming to care that it would hurt - she didn't mind, so long as they lived. With this thought in mind Saav took one of the pieces of cloth from around her arm then grabbing the woman's leg, using her own leg to pin them down in order to stop them moving while using the cloth as a bandage for the wound but it would only be temporary, she needed something bigger to stop it all together...

Vanoss stopped and turned around and stripped the corpse of his shirt and pants. He would probably need them in case he'd get injured, or find someone who was already. He turned around and continued his way inland.

Aislin screamed out with pain as a woman she remembered from the flight lifted her off the shard. She couldn't spit out words as her eyes blared red. Barely--just barely--she could feel the woman wrapping something around her leg. Aislin gasped for air, but the pain had knocked the breath out of her. She reached over, digging her hands into the sand.

After tightening the bandage so it was completely sealed she continued to remain in the same position, looking down at the woman with a blank expression for a short time before commenting in an irritated tone "Do you have any idea how hard it is to do this with you screaming like a whore?" her eyes remaining focussed on the woman with a cold glare, she was obviously in either a REALLY bad mood, or not quite in your average mental state...

Vanoss stopped for a moment, he coudl've sworn he heard screaming. He turned towards it and started walking, and it wasn't long until he'd come upon the two women, one who'd looked familiar and the other he'd never seen before.

"I didn't think anyone else survived." He said.

Saav smiled a little, letting her leg go down at least fairly gently "You've got some tenancy in you at least. That's good." she noted, turning her attention to the man, looking him up and down "Yep, you'll do - this lady need carrying, be a gentleman would you?" she asked with a smirk.

"Most people died on impact, and whoever did survive will eventually die or find us." He said.

He glanced at the familiar girl and raised an eyebrow.

"Who said I was a gentleman? We have to build a shelter and find some food and a source of water."

Letting out a huff she picked the girl up, slinging them over her shoulder then making her way further inland towards the trees which were thicker and thicker the further they went "Then let's go further in... Plus we might be able to spot some wildlife - deers, warthogs, tigers..." grinning at the girl as she mentioned tigers before adding "They prefer to target the weaker ones you know?"

They come upon a clearing and Vanoss grunts as he surveys what little of the island he can see.

"We need to stay close to the shore, just in case a ship or the search party passes by. Which might be a few weeks."

Saav raises an eyebrow "A few weeks, mmm? Then we can stay here for a few weeks." she states, looking around the area then towards the man "You wouldn't have anything for cutting down trees, would you?" Saav questions, tilting her head a little in a sort of oddly playful manner.

"I have a knife, but it's my own. The crew members should be carrying a red emergency bag like the one I've got. If we could find their corpses, maybe we can get your own." Vanoss said.

He stopped and looked at the girls.

"Your names?"

Vanoss grunts at her profession.

"Great, a pig, and a federal one at that." He said. "What about you, kid?"

She smiles a little "You can call me... Saav." she makes the pronunciation of her name drawn out and smooth as she narrows her eyes slightly but not in a threatening manner, more to emphasize the way she spoke more than anything - the black makeup around her eyes causing them to darken significantly.

Vanoss knew that name and decided to keep it to himself.

"Saav. Good, you're not a cop are you?" He asked.
