Stranded - We're a group of people who's plane crashes on an unknown island... how will things go?

We're all on the same plane, flying across the ocean when something goes wrong and the plane crashes into the ocean! We have to swim to the closest land and help anyone who needs help.
Afterwards, we have to figure out each other, how we're all going to live on this island until we get off, and of course how we're going to get off, if we ever will.

Note: the island obviously isn't floating in air. But the island has mountains like this. (except the white mountains, the island we're on is always warm.) It has fresh water and land.

((Before I make a starting post actually... what are everyone's rp style? first person, third person...?))

Well since most people do third I'll make the starting post third :)
Violet was sitting on the plane, which was an eight hour flight across the ocean. The flight was about half over and she'd killed time by popping both headphones in and reading her book, Disco Bloodbath. After she read a good amount, she place it back in her bag and got more comfortable in her seat. You can only get so comfortable sitting in a airplane seat. Her eyes closed, as she planned to hopefully sleep through the rest of the flight.

Eli had spent the time on the airplane by making conversation with the two people who sat next to him. He was a good conversationalist, and he assumed these strangers were getting annoyed by all of his nonsense questions and stories. After the two people who kept him company fell asleep, he didn't really know what to do. So he sat in silence, looking at the magazines in the pocket of the seat in front of him. When suddenly the seat belt light came flashing on and the plane ride became very bumpy.

Vanoss fiddled around with food tray that hung off the seat in front of him, he was incredibly bored and always had a hatred for long plane rides.

"Could you stop that?" The person next to him asked.

Vanoss turned and cast an angry glare at the man and continued to fiddle with it until he grew bored of that. He then stood and made his way back to the bathroom, opened the door, then closed and locked it. He stared at himself in the mirror and traced the large scar that ran down the side of his head to the top of his eyebrow. He sighed and brushed his mohawk before leaving the bathroom.

"Sir, could you go back to your seat please?" A stewardess asked him.

He grunted at her and ignored her, heading back to his seat, and sat down. He sighed and shifted his eyes to the sappy romance movie they were playing for the flight. The flight suddenly became bumpy and the 'buckle seat belt' light came on. He grunted again and put his seat belt on.

Violet slept through the seat belt bing, but her eyes jerked open when a flight attendant tapped on her shoulder and asked her politely to put her seat belt on. "Why?" She asked groggily. The flight attendant didn't even have to answer because the plane dropped a couple hundred feet, waking everyone up. The plane steadied a bit and kept flying.

Saav had been watching Vanoss for a short while, it reminded her of someone she once knew - not exactly someone she liked though. She kept her head away from his gaze, letting her eyes do all the work as she spun a phone around in the palm of her hand "Did it matter whose?" she asked herself as she turned her attention to the passenger next to her, wondering how long it would be until they noticed something was missing...

She was suddenly knocked to one side from the plane's drop "At least our pilot knows how to fly a plane." she commented sarcastically in a flat tone which didn't suggest she was making a joke out of it. Tossing the phone to the person beside her she buckled herself in before resting each arm behind her head and sighing contently before closing her eyes.

Vanoss gripped the seats armrests as the plane jumped from one side to the other.

"God dammit! Who's flying this thing, a monkey?" He screamed.

Nada glances up from her book, since reading seemed to be the only thing to do on a plane if you didn't want to watch the movie. She notices the seat belt light come on and sighs frustratedly before clicking her seat belt across her lap. She moves her dark hair behind her ear as her gold eyes scan the vicinity, taking in all the people who were currently on the plane with her. She looks over at Vanoss as he made his comment about the pilot. Definitely not an ordinary figure. She looks ahead again as she felt the plane descend. She closes her book and leans back in the seat calmly to wait out whatever issues the pilot was currently facing, hoping it was something minor.

Eli got comfortable again after the big drop. He started to worry when the pilot's voice came on the speakers announcing that the plane is headed right into a storm and that everyone has to keep their seat belts on at all times.

Violet didn't think much of this 'storm'. She tightened her seat belt, sat back and relaxed. There's no point in stressing.

Although, she started to worry when the plane encountered more and longer drops. The pilots voice came on the speakers again, announcing the possible outcomes of this storm and how dangerous it actually was. Not long after that, the airsick bags were issued to everyone...What was going on?

Vaniss had been a bit fidgety since the plane had started experiencing turbulence. He didn't like the prospect of being on a plane that could go down without a parachute. He looked around at the other passengers and wondered how many of them would survive if the plane did go down. Vanoss had always planned ahead just in case things happened. He sighed and closed his eyes, waiting for whatever might or might not come.

The plane flew for a good amount of time before it dropped another hundred feet, making Violet jump almost out of her seat. The emergency light and sound started up, making Violet kind of panic inside. What did all of this mean?

Eli was even more stressed out when the emergency lights and sounds flickered on. Then the pilots voice spoke through the speakers, informing everyone that the plane was going down. Something happened to the plane during the storm and there was no way to fix it. And there was no land, since we were flying right over the ocean. Flight attendants stood at the front, middle, and back, demonstrating how to put on the life jackets and how to inflate them when needed.

Eli threw his on, and helped the people beside him fasten theirs. He was terrified. I'm so going to die today.

Nadya watches as people started to panic, gritting her teeth since panicking never helped a situation. She watches the flight attendants, only half listening to them as she played the scenario in her mind on how to survive a crash/landing/whatever this was going to be on the ocean. The main thing would be avoiding hypothermia floating in the water while waiting for help to arrive. She really hated on waiting for others to help. The ideal thing would to not stay in the water for a long period of time. She stays in her seat as she played through different scenarios in her head.

Vanoss sighed as people started to panic, he kept his cool since he'd been in tons of way more stressful situations than this. As a stewardess handed him a life jacket, he took it without thanking her and put it on over his red tank top. He hoped they would crash in the water, so they'd have a chance. He breathed out and rebuckled his belt.

The plane went down faster than Eli expected it to. In no time at all he felt the very harsh impact as the plane hit the water. He definitely wasn't expecting how soon it happened and how harsh it was. It took the breathe out of him. Turns out, the plane was torn in half. He wasn't no idiot. Right away he unbuckled his seat belt and looked for his family. He couldn't see them anywhere. He did see a lot of bodies who died from the impact. he knew he had to save himself and see if his family had got out of the plane, so headed towards the open space to escape before the water flooded in too much.

Violet was yanked around by the crash. She was alone, she had nobody to go to, to make sure they were okay. Which was a plus and a con. She wasn't entirely sure what to do. She knew she didn't want to drown, so she tried to unbuckle her seat belt, but it wouldn't open. No matter how hard she tried. It was jammed. She started calling for someone to help her, "My buckle is stuck! Please! Somebody help!" The water was flooding the floor of the plane...

Vanoss was knocked unconscious for a few seconds before he awoke to a woman calling for help. He growled and shook his head and worked his way out from under the belt and waded his way toward the sound of the scream.

"Stop panicking and shut your mouth." He said.

He worked the buckle side to side and it broke free with a loud clang, and he tossed aside the two sides.

"Stay with me if you want to survive."

Violet nodded, "Thank you." She said, looking at the strange, muscular man. If it had been a normal situation she wouldn't trust a guy like him and she would probably go her separate way. But in this case, she had no idea what to do, so she decided to stick with the man. After all, he helped her brake free from the seat. He couldn't be too dangerous.

Nadya unclips her seat belt, quickly grabbing her back pack from the overhead compartment. She could ditch it if need be but it would be a valuable asset to her if she didn't have to. She glances back at hearing the girl cry out and sees someone was helping her. She treaded water as it started to over take the plane, turning her mind to "business" mode at seeing the tragedy the crash had caused already. She makes her way out of the plane and into the open water, swimming away from the plane not wanting any debris that may have been blown off during the crash landing to hit her.

"Can you swim, girl?" He asked in a gruff tone. "I'm retired Navy, formally Master Chief Petty Officer, SEAL Team 2, Service Number 544-85-8989. We need to get out of here if we want to survive, move now or you'll drown. Understand?"

He begins to wade toward the opened cabin door.

Tony had tried to remain calm through this, but when something sharp created a gash in his leg he began to worry badly. He still managed to limp heavily after the other survivors, wading slowly through the water, red bleeding into the water from his leg. He continued on however, but hissed when the salty sea water stung the wound. He hadn't yet inflated his jacket, and was waiting until he was closer to deeper water

Moon was panicking, shaking her mother, who wouldn't wake. The young girl didn't seem to realize that her mother was dead, but tears started to roll down her cheeks as she panicked, clearly terrified.

At the moment of impact Saav hadn't put her belt on, she'd been relaxing on the chair with a blissful smile on her face as if she wasn't aware of the events around her. She opened her eyes to find herself in the air, the air above the seats. THUMP. Saav slammed into one of them, luckily absorbing most of the impact with her arm - it hurt like hell but was still moveable she thought while flexing at around. Staggering to her feet she found herself in a daze "Alright, who spiked my drink?" she asked with underlying tones of irritation, stumbling forward as Saav used the chairs for support not really being able to tell what was going on or where she was going.

Vanoss notices Saav and beckons for her.

"The plane has crashed, girl. Get out while you can." He said.

She didn't really hear much of what the voice said but nevertheless they were usually right. She began to make her way over to the split where the plane had separated into it's separate halves and paused a moment longer, she just needed this daze to wear off already "Hey, anyone got something for headaches? Or, dizziness? Either way..." her voice sort of trailed off as she began to zone out but shook her head before she completely lost consciousness "Heh, nope!" was all she needed as encouragement to jump into the water which was already around her ankles, weakly swimming away while water constantly splashes against her face to make breathing a struggle.

Aislin had slept through most of the commotion. Yeah, probably not the best idea. She had woken up violently as the plane began it's steep decent, hit her head, and was promptly knocked unconscious.

When she came to, she could vaguely feel the sensation of wet sand. Aislin lay there for a moment, letting her vision clear before fully comprehending what had happened.

The plane had crashed.

Oh god. She was going to get in so much trouble with her boss for this.

She tried to stand up, but she gasped in pain and collapsed back into the sand with a squelch. There was a class for what to do if your plane crashed while on duty, but any information it might have given her slipped her mind. Slowly, Aislin lifted her head and glanced down. A spike of metal was driven straight through her thigh. Throwing her head into the sand once more, she tried to steady her breathing. Her eyes swam as the pain began to register, the image of blood--her blood--slowly spreading across the sand burned into the side of her head.

Moon made a whimpering noise, unbuckling her belt and shaking her mother again. Tears ran down her face, the young minded teen terrified of what would happen now that she had finally realised her mother was dead. She sobbed, "N-No!" She cried, moving slightly, and then letting out a pained scream. She hadn't noticed, but a jagged piece of metal was caught in her left arm, pinning her to the arm of the chair she was sat, in and causing pain. She cried for help, hoping someone would hear

At this point Saav was simply swimming, she didn't know where since her face was mostly buried in water but instinct told her to just keep going even when her mouth began to fill with water. She suddenly hit something and a rough texture pressed against her body, she blinked the water from her eyes and saw sand around her. Saav's tongue lolled out of her mouth as she panted heavily, not minding the taste of the sand so long as she was alive. However it wasn't long until the sand developed an odd, irony taste which caused her to splutter before looking down at the grains to find a layer of red liquid slowly moving down the gentle slope, she spat onto the ground and retched a little before looking up at the source and beginning to crawl over though struggling to do so with the world spinning in her vision.

Aislin lay there, her breathing uneven. She had tried to reach down and pull out the shard of metal, but any movement sent lightning bolts of pain from her thigh straight to her head. She had resolved to slowly bleeding out on the beach.

Not a bad way to die, I suppose, she thought. At least it's peaceful. Well, once you ignore the pain. Unfortunately, that wasn't easy to do.

Aislin had been there maybe ten minutes before she saw something move out of the corner of her eye. "H-hello?" She could barely make out words, but tried anyway. If other people had survived the crash, she might even be able to make it out of this alive.
