Perhaps the beginning of the roleplay actually takes place inside of the ship during the storm? So, for example, all of the character introductory posts will be of their reactions to the storm and what they're doing before the ship crashes onto land.

Gonna have to agree with @Smoaki one this one GM. From what you have drawn up so far, what you have currently is lacking in creative material and needs much more detail. Of course I understand you wrote it up as Simple, but at least make the entrance alluring to gain more attention. I'd be willing to join, if you need a bit more people.

Also, maybe instead of just "appearing" on the island, it is more of a... y'know... crash. So basically just pumping up the drama factor a bit.
