Well, as in they're very thin, so moving even a small amount would make it obsolete.

Earlier, Sans and a some pther people were at Alphys' lab where some conflicts arose. The monsters find out about the rwo humans running about. Alexy wanted to kill the human run by @Trin (Gah! Ive forgotten their name ;-;- Sans prevents this, they and Alexy have a touching moment, Alexy flees to the void, betrayed, she and Gaster have a chat in which she learns about the Resets. David was killed by Karren (which results in him meeting Chara, and completely going insane, declaring himself a God), then returns to taunt Karren about it to destroy her mentality. Karren and David had a short fight in which both parties received injuries which was interrupted by Alexy using blue soul mode to lift him out of reach. Karren and Laine fight, Karren near-death, flees, and now David has swapped control over his body with Chara to escape blue soul mode, and now stuff is happening.
