yay I made another thread XD
As you already saw in the title, i would love to start some steven universe rp(s)! Ocs are always welcome ( I prefer to use them myselfe) but of course its up to you , if you want to play as canon character, go ahead XD
I tend not to have to many rules for rps and am open to all different kinds of stories/themes ( from a short comedy/out of character rp just for fun to a serious long term rp with lots of world building, just hit me with your ideas! XD )
-literate or script style, i dont mind
-please be active! i try to reply at least once a day ; if i was gone for longer i would tell you
-the replies dont have to be super long, but no one liners please, dont do this to me XD
-english or german
-no god modding ( = controlling or killing the other persons character without their permission) please

Goshenite:
-f, transparent,colourless gem on forhead, rather tall but skinny , clothes are mostly white/transparent
-high ranking scientist in homeworld society ,era 1 gem ( does posses all the normal powers such as shapeshifting + a special one, controlling light/ reflections )
-about the power: Goshenite isnt exactly good at hand to hand/physical fighting , she rather relies on technology or her light manipulating ability. With it, she is able to create illusions , similiar to holograms, but much harder to distinguish from the original. the holograms cannot be touched and are mostly used as distraction. Goshenits light is extreamly bright ( it gets focused in her gem like in a burning glass) and can temporarily blind opponents, even mess with another gems physical form/destabilicing it ( since its also a product of light ) if she manages to land a direct 'hit'. Her powers dont work very well in the dark
-her weapon is like some kind of thin,glove-like layer that forms around one or both of her hands and underarms. it resembles fine protective gloves like the ones a scientist would wear, nothing like garnets gloves for example . the surface is very slick and looks almost like a polished mirror. Light comming from outside ( the daylight or an external source of light for example) gets catched and collimated in the reflective substance and can be emitted again at any spot , like at the tip of one finger f.e. Like in a burning glass or a laser, the light ( which is pure energy) gets really hot and is able to cut through most materials. The Purpose of this ability is to give goshenites- a scientist class- a very precise tool to assist them with their work. Its much more accurate than any scalpel and makes clean cuts. As its made of light, this 'laser' can affect and even destabilize a gems physical ( light) body. It is not ment to be a wepon and goshenites are not made for fighting, but in theory could be used as one.
She can create hologramms and other fake objects with the light of her gem ( but those are really just projections and can hurt anyone ). This light is not really strong enough to power her gloves , so she needs to rely on external sources of light to use her full potential. She sucks at physical fighting
-personality: cold, arrogant, curious , highly intelligent ...but kinda messed up. feels superior to most others,vain. She gets easily annoyed with people, especially when she consideres them "dumb" , but doesnt tend to get aggressive ( other than verbally maybe ) While she does stick to the rules of homeworld, goshenite doesnt actually care too much about them, all she is interested in is her research
-she has/had something to do with the experiments creating the forced fusions/mutants - and shes even proud of it...
Pearl ( white/Ivory coloured) :
-f, gem on back , average size,thin/skinny , clothes fit the gem colour
-just some average pearl that belongs to the goshenite. she is an era 2 gem, so she does not posses any powers
-personality: almost seems like she has none as she usually stays silently and does her masters bidding. calm/quiet/ easily startled and quick to run away. She does not posses any violent tendencies and would rather run than fight.
mountain crystal:
-f,gem on chest , clothes ( practical fighting/solider outfit) are mostly white with some black , tall, muscular but not as bulky as an amethist for example
-a solider( like all quartzes i guess? ) , serves/protects the goshenite ( who sees her, just like the pearl, as replaceable.. ) , era 1 gem with the usual abilities
-personality: stubborn,loyal,very(!) protective and caring . she is usually friendly and calm,attributes not seen so often in soliders(?) but knows how to fight when neccesary , not very found on the rules of homeworld, but follows them. not the most intelligent gem and not good at planning ahead, often acts beforee thinking. (too)Quick to trust people, gullible, easy to get distracted. With her warm heart and kindness she seems almost like the perfect opposite of her master.
grey pearl:
-f,gem on chest/near to the throat , practical clothes that are mostly dark grey and black with a tattered scarf, average size,thin/skinny
-era 1 gem with usual abilities, was ment to be a normal servant
-she ( and several others of her kind) were grown in a kindergarten on a very small,remote planet; untill a big asteroid destroyed most of this world. the workers and already emerged gems fled ( thoses who could do so at least ) , the ones still inside of the earth were all scattered expect for a few far enough away from the impact , who emerged later.
the planet was forsaken ( it was too damaged for any more kindergartens and other buildings or at least it wasnt economic enough to build everything again as there were just few resources to begin with...) , the remaining gems on it were forgotten/ noone remebered them after a while, as this took place during the war where they had to focus on many other things.. there was still some sort of organic live present who survived the disaste( similiar to the meteroid who crashed into earth, not all live did die ), predatory animals that would atack anything that moved ( including the left over gems, none of them was realy made for fighting)
-this pearl took over the role as leader of the group and learned how to defend herselfe, but over time some of the others got scattered by the creatures*
-> there is a reason why a pearl from all the different gems would take this position : she pretty much was ordered to do so. i will try to explain xD. Some of the workers could not escape before the asteroid did hit the kindergarten; they found shelter and survived the crash, but its what followed that killed them.. The creatures on this planet atacked the intruders , who were now on their own and with most of their technology destroyed. appearently those creatures ( different species btw) could consume almost anything, even what the gems are made off... ( the energy and minerals in the actual gem ). Grey was the first undamaged gem to emerge after the impact, but when she did , only one of the workers( higher middle class gem) was still alive, but about to get devouered by several of the creatures. She ( as she was the only other gem present and the pearl was ownerless) pretty much instantly took ownership over her and called out for help, gave her the order to " fight and protect" in a last desperate attempt to save her own life. grey obeyed , thought could not save said gem as she was shattered just moments after... The order given to her later translated in her trying to protect the other forgotten gems, who emerged afterwards..)
-she does not have any special abilities or is in any way (physically) stronger than the average aera 1 pearl , all she has got is experience (over time) and her order
-long story short: after several thousand years of fighting for her and the otheres lifes on the planet ( the others of course fought too, grey was just something similiar to a leader who would make decision/ decide what to do/shere to go in order to stay save ) , a homeworld ship rediscovered the lost colony and the gems on it. They were taken on board and should become servants to homeworld ( all of them were low(est) class gems, made to serve). Not being very found of the thought of her and the others becoming slaves to a system they did not know before ,grey tried to protect them like she always did ( by trying to take over the ship, which failed, ) , and it ended with her getting seperated from the others but managing to reach an escape pod and flee. In said escape pod, with no idea how to fly this thing, she ended up floating aimlessly through space ..( for weeks ) , thats when her current story ends ( the rest is rps XD)
-personality: seems(!) quiet when you first meet her , but easily angered, short temper ,fiery ,stubborn , unusually aggressive but loyal, gets nervous when things go out of controll, restless in a negative way, often acts before thinking, somewhat rude/impolite
-terrified of the dark ( the backstory is long...i might write more tomorrow but i really need to sleep now so i will make it short XD : probably the most dangerous of the creatures they had encountered on this planet in all those years only hunted at night, when it was pitch black. they shattered/killed many of her friends, some infront of her eyes, always struck when it was pitch black. light was the only way to defend oneselfe against the thing, but the light a gem can emmit wasnt always enough - so when the sun would go down real sh** began XD ) It also hunted near to the ground, often hiding in it, which explains why grey currently prefers higher places...
-when grey first emerged she was just like any other pearl, nothing special about her, it were the circumstances which formed her personality and behaviour over time
