Pretty much. Saar offensive is in September of '39, and the French don't do much until April of '40 when they send an expedition to Norway. I only mentioned it since it was concurrent to the Invasion of poland and would give the western allies something to do while poland was wrapping up.Didn't the half year long Sitzkrieg came right after Saar offensive?
Norway could still be a good place to start though, the fighting goes from April into June and the French pull out specifically because the Germans have made a surprise visit to the homeland. So it has a pretty climactic end for the allies.
