Advice/Help Starting an RP

So for a while now ideas for role plays that I would want to join have popped into my head and it makes me want to start one with the plot in mind. Unfortunately, I have never hosted an RP before and i'm not really sure how to. If anyone has any advice and wouldn't mind sharing then I could really use it.​

It's easy, you write up the plot, create the character sheets and OOC and just guide the roleplayers. Try it out without putting to much thought into it and you'll probably be fine.

If you want to start a group rp, you need to think a lot of stuff in advance, what you'll allow or not allow players to do. And then stick to those rules.
Aside from that - yes, you take your plot, describe it in interest check so that people get interested, then make OOC thread for character sheets and player questions, the atual rp thread where you write a starting post to set up the scene for the players... and then just guide them when you need. The amount of guidance depends on what kind of rp you have in mind, there are many ways to do it.

If you have any experience with group rp as a player you can try to analyze what you liked and disliked about them and use that as a basis of how you run your own rp.

Don't let the lack of experience discourage you, everyone had to start somewhere.
