This is set around 3635 BBY, around Star Wars the Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire timeline. (An expansion for SWTOR as of now) The Great Galactic War has just come to a close but a new threat has risen from the depths, the Eternal Empire. Jedi's and Sith's alike are being hunted down and slaughtered by the Eternal Empire, leaving a much darker and more cautious type of lifestyle and decisions for us all.


The video below shows you a more visual aspect of what is going on, though we won't be going with canon, we will have this sense of cautiousness and sheltered lifestyle for both Sith and Jedi arise because of this threat.

@Blarg222 We chat here, anyway we do have a LOOOT of people, you guys could start roleplaying already if you truly desire, but I think we should wait a bit longer till we're sure everyone's got their character up and running. As for me I'll probably be sluggish and have a long character sheet to do so you guys can roleplay when the time is right.

Oh. My. God. Guys - I just realized that Liam Neeson is Qui Gon Jinn. In my defense: I hadn't see Episode 1 since waaaay before the first Taken movie came out, and was therefore woefully ignorant of his excellence.

Bummer.

Also, while I was nerding out I found a cool picture of a Jedi healing a Republic soldier and it begged the question: is that a thing in this game since we're heavily referencing SWTOR? I mean, looking over the character sheets it seems like Shaen - so far - would be the only one capable of doing it anyway. I'm honestly indifferent to its existence. I have no objections to Kolto being the only real source of regeneration.

Liam Neeson is the greatest, and yes on occasion Jedi's were able to heal with the force, if you want you can give Shaen a minor healing ability, not so much so as to heal major wounds or mortal wounds. But minor ones are a great place to start. Thus is why this gif is amazing.

Roger that, boss. Maybe he'll be able to just keep someone from immediately bleeding out, but not act as permanent fix: sort of like a force sensitive tourniquet.
