Gender:

Appearance:

Personality:
A quiet and wise man, with intelligence and perception beyond his apparent years, Darran is a very emotionally aware person, and takes some small pride in being quietly charismatic.

Personal History:
He was only just knighted by the Jedi council when heads started rolling, and the great Jedi purge began - on his 20th birthday, no less. Before that really doesn't matter. He had the typical Jedi upbringing of Code, Saber, and Adventure, even if that was only typical during the Clone Wars. In fact, during the Clone Wars, he was much loved by the Clones he found himself in command of, for his compassion, and the fact that he was also one of the few people they'd ever met to regard them as people- as individuals rather than a single force.

It was what saved him.

You see, the Clones were microchipped in such a fashion that, upon the activation of Order 66, they would be unable to refuse the command to kill Jedi, but his Clones were strong enough to stall it, even if only for a few seconds. It was strange, actually. They just stood there after the order was given, unmoving. If Darran had reacted a split second later, then the Emperor's re-issuing the command would have broken the spell soon enough for them to cut him down.

He was separated from his master - though he was technically a Knight, now - and presumed her to have been killed.

And then he gave in to fear.

I do not mean that he fell to the Dark Side - oh no, he stayed firmly in the service of the Light. It's just... he didn't really do anything in his service. He hid. Like a coward.

He took his lightsaber apart and broke his vows and pretended as if he'd never been a Jedi, and started using a vibroblade instead, and took to hunting bounties and criminal work to survive, finding shelter in brothels and bars, and living with the scum of whatever star system he found himself in.

So actually no. He abandoned the Light Side entirely. I lied. Just like he did. He lied to himself every day, telling himself that he was doing nothing wrong, and denying nothing.

And downwards the spiral went. Downwards because he was being torn between the past and the present - he had never actually destroyed his lightsaber, you see. He kept the parts on his person, unable to cast them fully aside. Even in his darkest years, a Jedi walked within him.

Or limped within him, at least, broken and lost.

And all this went on, downwards in an uncontrollable spin towards the bottom of a juma soaked cup, when, one fortuitous night, he overheard someone talking about a Rebellion, and a suicide mission.

Naturally, he signed up straight away.

He was determined to earn his knighthood back before he died.

Tools and/or weapons:
A lightsaber, of broad, long, blue blade, kept in several different parts around his person.

dsc_00139.jpg

He also carries a long vibroblade somewhat more openly, and a fairly generic blaster pistol alongside that.

palsword1.jpg

M1370-2.jpg

Skills and abilities:
As a Jedi Sentinel, he is adept in both martial arts - in particular lightsaber combat - and the use of The Force, both in healing and in a fight. However, these abilities extend mostly to an intermediate-advanced level rather than mastery, on account of the 'Jack of all trades' style skillset of the Sentinel. As such, he is also moderately versed in several other skill fields, and his time as a bounty hunter has sharpened his instincts and melee skills. He is also, as aforementioned, very charismatic - if quietly so.

Are they willing to
die for The Rebel Alliance?: Sometimes, I think he is actually planning to.

Name

Doran Skim

Age

45

Gender

Male

Personality

Doran is a really nice guy but from his time alone in the depths of the many oceans of the galaxy he gets carried away and tends to talk too much.

Personal History

On the planet of Glee Anselm Doran was born deep under the waves at an abandoned Nautolan outpost. The outpost had been filtered with enough air to sustain him and his mother but to Doran he had rather be outside in the water. His mother was his only parent and for several years they spent their lives as hermits to even their own kind. One day while playing with his toys that his mother had gotten him he heard a crash that came into the water. To him it was nothing of interest, but his mother swam out to find out to find what it was. A jedi had crashed deep within the ocean and with out the help of Doran's mother the Jedi would have surely died. After being taken into the outpost that Doran's mother had made their home the Jedi was able to recover from his wounds. Before he left the Jedi he said that Doran was a force sensitive and that it would be better if he went with the Jedi. After much talking the Jedi took Doran away and he never saw his mother again. Doran's training as a Jedi was mediocre but Doran wasn't meant to be a great warrior for the army or a consular with so much raw power that he was able to fling people around like they were mincemeat. He was an Engineer, and a damn good one by the standards of the Jedi Order. He was the guy that decided if new projects were accepted or not and Doran was the one that made prototypes of the designs. When the day came that Anakin Skywalker came walking up the steps of the temple Doran was in the engineering bay trying to fix a broken droid prototype. After fighting off the hordes of clones that attacked the engineering bay he gathered up the Jedi sentinels, engineers, librarians, and even a few padawans and went on the offensive. With a last stand of Jedi Doran sent off the younger Jedi with a few older Jedi to escape while he and the last survivors would hold off the onslaught of clones. It was a great battle and Doran was renowned to be the best duelist among the engineers but he was no match for the dark lord marching toward him. His saber glowed like lightning as it struck against the dark lord's, within a few moves it was apparent that Doran was outmatched so the run began. Deep within the engineering bay where Doran was the last standing Jedi among the engineers he fought the Dark Lord in small skirmishes, but his complete intent was running away. As he pulled the sith deeper into the engineering bay he made his way into the captured technologies area. Around him hundreds of broken or dissected battle droids were on racks waiting to be examined. They had all been reprogrammed to take orders from Jedi, with a flick of a switch they all came online. Doran yelled out to the droids to kill the dark lord, like a swift wind they began running toward him sacrificing themselves. Doran couldn't beat the dark lord, he had to run on one of the racks was a half broken confederacy speeder. He didn't hesitate as he jumped onto it and sped off from the Temple, behind him he could hear the clones following him.

Alone and afraid Doran did the one thing that would definitely protect him, he went into seclusion. On the planet of Glee Anselm he made a new life for himself, he was an engineer for a small town just outside of Anselom, he even married and began a new life. One day while buying parts for a broken droid he was attacked in the market by a sith assassin, he didn't have his lightsaber it was hidden within his home. He was only equipped with a blaster and the force. After an overwhelming fight he finally was able to kill the assassin with a swift shot to the head. After returning home he found his wife almost dead, after taking her to the town doctor Doran decided to leave. If he had stayed more assassins would come after him and after him meant after his wife.

Tools and/or weapons

Doran usually has a set of tools on his belt and his DL-44 Pistol.

Within the confines of his cloak he has his yellow lightsaber.

6372cf1438a4ae662968a70f96b4e603.png

Skills and abilities

Doran is a really good engineer, he usually spends most of his time tinkering his pistol or trying to repair a droid for usage. In his time as a rebel agent he has stolen more than a few droids and reprogrammed them. Among the engineering core of Jedi he was one of the best duelists, though in general comparison to other jedi duelists he was average and or mediocre, but his force sensitivity was below average.

Are they willing to die for The Rebel Alliance?

Any day of the week

Other

He has not made it apparent that he was a Jedi, and he doesn't really care for the old teachings. As his years apart from the Jedi Order grew he drifted farther towards the darkside. He himself isn't a dark sider but isn't willing to die because of Jedi Morales.

be00e70056c9de6ae52da8c23d9374c8.jpg

Over the years he has become better and better at reprogramming droids on the go. At one time he was able to reprogram an astromech to sabotage an Imperial Frigate.

@jole875 It's a nice app, there, mate. However, for balance reasons, I would say that, given your character's honestly exceptional talents in the field of engineering, he would either be a mediocre duellist as well, or instead, not a Jedi. Keep in mind that not being a Jedi has its advantages too - as you will, with some training, be almost invisible in The Force to a dark side adept, whereas a force sensitive is strong enough with the force that they cannot mask their presence without extensive and specialist training, a la the Jedi Shadows. If also say that, to keep the awesome factor, if your character were not a Jedi, he could still be an adept duellist, using both blasters and vibroblades - both of which he could fully customise himself of course.

Also, he may well have had a small staff of droid engineer assistants, but they will be unable to accompany us on the mission, as it would make our presence more high profile than we wanted it to be, at the wrong time. I can see a teary eyed goodbye between Doran and them though :)

Well, I completely understand what your coming from. I never meant for him to be a good duelist, I think I mislead you. I only meant for it to be known he was one of the better duelists of the engineering core. Thats why I had Doran running like a little bitch from the dark lord in their fight. He is in all only an average duelist that is good at using his surroundings. I'm perfectly fine with everything else. I believe his low force sensitivity would be enough to get him by dark side adepts, and over the years of him being away from the Jedi Order he may have developed a low level technique of hiding his force sensitivity. Is there anything else you need? @Bazmund

Well alright then. You're in. But personally I regard him as more of a force sensitive engineer than a Jedi. Just a personal thing.

Name: Rando Jakts (ran-dough-jax)

Age: 82

Gender: Male

Species: Androthian

-Little is known about Androthians. They originated from a chain of islands on Totero III, a small oceanic planet in the outer rim. The species were long lived, averaging around two hundred years, at the expense of an extremely slow reproduction cycle.

-The species were humanoid, and all in all unspectacular, except for one trait: a natural ability to share a collective sub-
conciseness with all other Androthians. Even across immense distances, an Androthian could sense the emotions and thoughts of it's kin. Though they could not communicate this way, not directly, it had become an integral part of their culture.

-The species were all but wiped out when The Empire used the planet to test a prototype weapon system. Whether the Empire was aware of the Androthians' presence there or not, was never known. Regardless, the planet was destroyed, and with it, nearly all Androthians.

Personality: Rando Jakts is focused, determined, confident, and rather intense. The trauma his mind withstood when his people were destroyed still resonates in him, making him occasionally prone to fits of rage. No longer having any family, or possibly anyone of his own species in the entire galaxy, Rando regards his fellow rogues as his only family anymore, and anyone in the rebellion as a friend.

Personal History: Rando Jakts was one of less than a dozen Androthians to ever leave Totero III. He traveled with a smuggler group for a while, learning about and seeing much of the galaxy. He learned starpiloting and navigation from his captain, but it didn't take long to surpass even him in skill. He found higher pay and benefits working as a professional pilot for a PMC called Galactic Security Solutions, and earned quite the reputation for his piloting skills.

After a few years, Rando realized that he was unbearably bored with being a PMC pilot, and began looking for more exciting work. This search led him to Nal Hutta, where he witnessed his first pod race. Rando knew then what he wanted to do. Using his savings, he bought a light framed pod, tuned it up, and entered the amateur circuit. After several races, he qualified for the Semi Pro circuit, and after four months, he made it to the Galactic Circuit. He had several near death experiences during his two year long career in the Galactic circuit, but he had a great record, averaging 3rd place in 13 races.

Rando Jakts recieved an invitation to the Boonta Eve Classic race on Tatooine, the year after the young human slave Anakin Skywalker surprised everyone and won, beating Sebulba and several others of the best podracers of the time. It was Rando's premier race in the Invitational Circuit. Though he wasn't the underdog, he certainly wasn't expected to win, let alone place in the top four.

Rando won by a hair, beating such renown pilots like Teemto Pagalies, Wan Sandage, and most impressively, Sebulba. Unfortunately, several local criminal lords had placed significant bets on Sebulba, looking to win back their losses from the previous year. Dozens of hits were placed on Rando the end of the day, making his celebration short lived.

Rando fled tatooine, and Hutt space, heading closer to the core. His reputation proceeded him enough that he found work easily enough as a contracted pilot for the republic. When the Clone Wars erupted, Rando was offered a high pay/high risk job as a Starfighter. He accepted. In time, he developed a strong respect and loyalty to the republic. When the Empire was born, Rando reasoned that since the senate voted for it, surely it was a good thing, and he remained in the service. Despite the Empire's anti-alien policies, Rando was one of a few non-humans offered continual employment.

Rando flew as a Imperial pilot for over a dozen years, clinging desperately to his faith that he was doing the right thing. He resisted the
subconscious call for him to return to his home planet.

Rando Jakts was asleep when his planet was destroyed. His bunkmate was shocked when Rando started screaming and writhing, falling from the top bunk to the cold metal floor. His eyes and auditory
orifices bled, he clawed at his head as if he was being burned from the inside out. He blacked out and fell into a coma for several days. When he awoke, he realized he could no longer sense his kin, not even in the most subtle ways he had grown accustomed to.

When he requested to his superior that he be given leave to go and inspect his planet, his superior declined. He then requested that the Empire dispatch a probe to see what happened. His superior agreed to make the request, and Rando gave him the coordinates. That night, Imperial Inquisitors came for Rando, and attempted to arrest him. Sensing that something was amiss, Rando managed to escape the Inquisitors and escape in his custom Longstrider
Star fighter.

He immediately went to his home planet, only to find field of
asteroids, several of which were still burning. An imperial research team was inspecting the wreckage, taking analysis of the destruction. He managed to capture one, and questioned the scientist. He learned the truth. The empire had destroyed his planet, using it as a test. It hadn't been a quick destruction. The planet had basically been immolated by radiation. His people had died slowly, and in utter agony. He killed the scientist, stole what data he could, and said goodbye to the ruins of his home world.

He spent the next few years as a pirate. But he didn't raid far-flung colonies or merchant ships. He raided Imperial training camps. He ambushed Imperial transports. He and his band of freelance pilots caused chaos wherever they could. It wasn't long before they were contacted by a movement known as the rebellion.

Tools and/or weapons: Rando has a vibro-knife he won during his pod racing days. He also has a pair of custom fit Westar-34 blasters. He usually carries a thermal detonator, just in case. He lost his left arm from the forearm down when he wrecked during the Malastar race in his Galactic Circuit days, and had it replaced with a robotic. His flight suit contains compartments designed to hold an array of tools.

Skills and abilities: Rando is primarily a pilot. Sure he can shoot a blaster as well as the next guy, and he knows his way around a starfighter. He has learned how to fight unarmed over the years, and is proficient with his knife.

Are they willing to die for The Rebel Alliance?: The moment he discovered the fate of his homeworld, Rando Jakts accepted that he would die fighting the Empire. It's pretty much his end goal at this point.

Name:
Jadean Isan

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Personality: Jadean is a loud and somewhat cocky person, often going against what the squadron commander tells him. At times, he has faults in where he lays his loyalties, due to a past with both the Rebellion and the Empire.

Personal History: Raised on the Imperial stronghold of Ghorman, he was the son of two traders. Being only 14 when the Empire legitimized themselves, Jadean has only known what the Empire told him.

Brainwashed from a young age, Jadean first course of action at the age of 17 was to join the Empire, a wish which many of the village youth followed with. By the age of 19, he was a fully-fledged spy working for the Empire. His loyalties laid with the Empire and he was willing to die for them.

Travelling through various rebellion strongholds, Jadean’s main mission was to blend in with the locals, taking on the role of a trader while simultaneously gathering information on the strongholds.

But eventually, he let himself slip and was caught.

Until he was caught. He was taken to the rebel base for interrogation. The man interrogating him was one of the survivors of Order 66. Jadean never caught the name of the Jedi, he didn’t really care for it either.

The Fallen Jedi never managed to break Jadean. The Jedi attempted to turn Jadean to the dark side but before anything could happen, an imperial strike started on the base, led by Darth Vader. Before Vader found the Jedi, he spoke a few final words to Jadean.

"When you die, your money won't matter. All that will matter is who you helped before you went - and the Sith, the Imperials... they'll never remember your name."

But Jadean never paid attention to the words spoken by this old and crippled man. Soon enough, Lord Vader found the Jedi he was hunting and killed him on the spot.

Jadean re-entered the Imperial Service, continuing to spy on various rebel strongholds. But every now and then, those words spoken by the Jedi came back, scaring Jadean, a man who rarely felt any other emotion except complete love for the Empire.

Aged 23, he had gathered intelligence about a potential rebellion stronghold on Kiffu. The intelligence wasn’t correct and he ordered the massacre of roughly 550 men, women and children.

Despite no evidence was officially found supporting rebels being present, Jadean was still awarded for the success of his mission. This was when what the Jedi said struck him the most.

Within a few hours of receiving the praise, he had left. He was a deserter. Stealing a VCX-820 escort freighter, Jadean escaped the Imperial base and lived the next 9 years working as a small time mercenary and smuggler, living on the freighter instead of having to spend money on rooms.

Aged 32, he had garnered a slight reputation as a smuggler. But, every day, the words that Jedi said would still ring in his head.

It finally broke him while awaiting in a cantina on a far off planet. Standing around, drinking, a man spoke to his group of friends about a rumour about the Rebels needing people for a suicide mission.

His buddies laughed and joked about it. Laughed and joked about how there's no way in hell they'll find those here - least of all Jadean.

But the word rang through Jadean’s head ‘When you die, your money won't matter. All that will matter is who you helped before you went - and the Sith, the Imperials... they'll never remember your name.’

But his friends were wrong. They would find someone willing to do a suicide mission for the Rebellion.

It was Jadean. By the next morning, he was on his way towards the presumed Rebel base on Dantooine.

Tools and/or weapons: Standard issue E-11 Blaster Rifle which he slings around his neck. By his side normally is R2-B9, a standard R2 Astromech droid with a lime green and white paint job.

Skills and abilities: His main skills are with his ability to use basic firearms due to his imperial training. Along with this, he’s skilled in the fields of stealth and movement of items through dangerous areas, be that a small package or a spacecraft.

Are they willing todiefor The Rebel Alliance?: If it’ll redeem himself from the pain he suffered on Kiffu, he would be willing to lose everything.

emiliaclarke.jpg
Personality:Ket is an extremely sarcastic and cocky person when she speaks which is a rarity. She doesn’t want anything to do with the Rogue Squadron but she’s been forced into joining. She finds it hard to make friends and considers herself a loner. However, once she’s close to someone, she would hold them in the highest regard.

Personal History:
Having her mother die in childbirth, she was left with an intergalactic trader as a father. She had no home planet and was considered a hermit with her father, travelling wherever with trade or her father’s services were needed.

Age 15, all was going well. Until their space freighter was inspected by a small squadron of Imperial Stormtroopers. Her father knew exactly what was going to happen. Pushing her under the freighter’s floor, Ket hid away while her father was trialled, judged and execute, all within 5 minutes of being stopped. The Stormtroopers declared that he was a smuggler and had him executed for that crime, on the spot there.

Having the inside of the freighter stripped off anything with any value, the Troopers left it and continued. Ket was hid under the floor was a good 3 days before she came out, still shaking.

She spent the next 3 years making her name for herself. She could protect herself, her father made sure of that. By 18, she had already developed a set of armour which covered herself, making her appear more masculine as well as a helmet which changed her voice to one of ambiguous gender while wearing. She set the name ‘Falcone Ventini’ and started hunting low level bounties.

The event which really set her name in stone was the destruction of nearly an entire Imperial outpost, leading to the death of roughly 150 Stormtroopers, including the squadron which killed her family. This action led to her having a permanent bounty on her head by the Empire.

But she wasn’t in the Rebellion’s good books either. Having witnessed several corrupt Rebel officers steal from a bunch of traders, she took it upon herself to sabotage their spacecraft while they were refuelling. The sabotage caused the small fleet of spacecraft to crash seconds after take-off, killing roughly 12. She ensured the Rebellion knew she had done it by sending them a personal message, admitting it. This gained her another bounty on her head, from the Rebellion this time.

Another few years and she had a name set in stone across a number of star systems. Most wanted in 3 star systems. Wanted on charges of murder, extortion, smuggling, slavery and extortion to name a mere few. She was untouchable.

Until she met Darran Dreiss. And they fought.

And he won. And caught her.

Tools and/or weapons:
Two DL-18 Blaster Pistols strapped around her waist. Her main firing weapon is a BL-28 blaster rifle, hanging from a strap around her neck. Her main tool is her armour which acts as a mini base for herself. It had a built in binocular and scanner unit, allowing her to recon from a few 100 meters (Clear until 800m when it starts to become disorted, after 1200m, it's completely distorted when it comes to sound quality and image quality) away as well as listening into conversation. Inside her helmet, she has a built in translator, allowing her to both speak and listen in the various languages across the galaxies. That’s all she has since at this present moment, she’s Dreiss’ prisoner.

Skills and abilities:
Her main skills include her immense knowledge of fighting with firearms, as that’s her main method of making money. Alongside, she has basic knowledge of flying various spacecraft as well as the upkeep of her armour and the upkeep of various spacecraft.

Are they willing to
diefor The Rebel Alliance?: It isn’t looking like she has a choice now, does she now?

Age: 27 Standard Years

Gender: Female

Race: Cathar

Appearance:

• without armor:
ahji_portrait_by_echostain-d6r6iif.jpg

• with armor:
sergeant_roxton_wip_by_anthros-d4dg7ve.jpg

Personality:

Rhia is an absolute pistol. There's little to no filter between her mouth and her brain, so she often just says whatever she's thinking. And as she carries rather strong opinions, that has on occasion put her at odds with her superiors. Nevertheless, she is good at her job and those around her know it. Loyal, jovial, and honorable, Rhia makes fast friends with those willing to do the job required of them.

Personal History:

Ord Mantell, home of the Cathar since the Mandalorian Wars, is a harsh planet, and life there can be harsh as well. Rhiannon grew up without patents, stuck in an orphanage for her miserable childhood. And of course, though the Clone Wars didn't affect the place directly, being s child for most of such a massive conflict did nothing to bring comfort. But she made the best of it, laughing with friends and fighting with enemies who dared hurt them. Those fights were always one sided, though, for Rhia was a small thing. Eventually she became old enough to leave the orphanage, and she did, joining the military soon after to fulfill a promise she'd made to a dear friend.

It was soon after she joined the military that the young cathar found herself the subject of mistreatment. A rather large zabrak would often make advances on her. Eventually the advances, and their repeated denials, weren't enough, and the zabrak tried to force himself upon Rhiannon. But something clicked in her brain as she struggled to push him off, and unknowingly pulling on the Force, she shoved. Hard. The zabrak suddenly found himself against the far wall, his head sore from having impacted it. Amazed at her own strength, she nevertheless kept it a secret as best she could, nurturing and focusing it in secret.

Soon afterwards she and her fellows finished basic training and received their assignments. Thanks to her skill in training, the young Cathar was assigned to Senator Bail Organa's personal guard. A year after, the guard's sergeant was reassigned, allowing Rhia to rise up to that position. She served well and faithfully for several years, becoming close to the Organa family and earning Bail's trust, most notably by risking her life to put down a group of violent political activists who had made an attempt on the senator's own life. In her downtime Rhia would enjoy spending time with his daughter Leia as the two would listen to stories from Bail about the old Republic.

One evening he called her to a private meeting within his office. Their talk was brief, their words concise. Bail explained to her the about the Rebellion to Reform the Republic, and the delicate situation it now found itself in. They needed help, military help, and he knew of no one better suited to aid their cause in such a way. Rhiannon, having heard of the old Republic and seen (occasionally first hand) the oppression the Cathar suffered under the oppressive Empire, agreed to the senator's request passionately. After receiving details as to where to go and with whom to meet, Rhia packed her things and left Alderaan, pausing only long enough to decorate her personal armor in the blood red of the old Republic and the tribal marks of her people.

Tools/Weapons:

On the ground Rhia wields a FC-1 model flechette launcher, being of the unyielding opinion that it should only ever take one shot. She carries a standard issue blaster pistol on her hip to use in a pinch, though it's certainly not her preference. And of course, to aid her in fisticuffs, her gauntlets are reinforced with durasteel.

In the sky she flies a beat up old TL-1800 that she bought as she left Alderaan: the Revenant.

250px-StockShipsSuwantek.png

Skills and Abilities:

Rhia is a decent enough pilot: no match for Wedge Antilles, but good enough to knock out the odd pirate that might show. On the ground, where she's far more confident, she relies on a fair hand to hand combat ability balanced with an excellent aim with her massive flechette launcher: the latter possible because of her very minor skill in Force Strength Enhancement, and the former supplemented by it.

Are they willing to die for the Rebel Alliance?

As far as Rhia is concerned, the Rebellion is the Republic's true government in hiding. And as much as she was willing to die in the defense of Senator Organa and the Republic he represents, she's willing to die to further the Rebellion's cause.

Thanks! Force sensitive, yes, but only minorly so. Effectively all her Force connection allows is a boost in strength. Otherwise, narratively speaking, I imagine she'd have been felt out by an Inquisitor during her duties and killed subsequently.

Maybe the Inquisitorium are just sodding blind - I mean, Darran had been Knighted, even if he'd kinda fallen since. Anyway, yeah you're in. Good to have you on board.

Name: Kair Zaal

Age:
Thirty-two

Gender:
Male

Species: Kel Dor/Kel Dorian

Appearance:
Much like other members of the Kel Dor race, Kair is considered conventionally ugly by most people's standards. His skin is a dark reddish-brown. He has the silver irises that his species generally take to be a sign of force sensitivity.

Personality: Kair is rather quiet and reserved. Despite this he bores very easily and must constantly be doing something so as to not drive himself insane. He is a good strategist and a quick thinker and does not bow easily to pressure.

Personal History:
Kair's impatience is likely his biggest downfall, having been the instigator of a great many of the events in his life. Kair was born on the planet Kel Dor home planet, Dorin and stayed there until he was seventeen years old, at which point he grew extremely bored of the planet and stowed away on an outbound ship.

As it turned out, this ship belonged to a group of criminals, bounty hunters and smugglers and they led Kair into a life much like theirs. Kair became a bounty hunter and assisted the others in capturing and killing a good many targets. At twenty-three Kair became disenchanted with his group and left to make his own career.

As the group he had previously belonged to had made a name for themselves, Kair had little trouble finding work and was able to make a livable career and purchase himself a ship which he was able to live on.

During the Jedi purge, Kair had the stupidly dangerous idea to hunt down a Jedi. He found the beleaguered force user half-dead and on the run. Unbeknownst to Kair, he was minorly force sensitive (as many of his species are) and, having the advantage of youth and perfect health, he was able to best the Jedi and kill him. After doing so, he claimed his fallen foe's yellow lightsaber for himself. Unfortunately the weapon had been damaged by Kair's own blaster and did not work as it should. He decided to keep the broken weapon as a trophy and resolved to find a way to get it fixed.

Some time after he killed the Jedi, Kair encountered an Imperial Inquisitor who attempted to take the lightsaber from him. As Kair did not want to relinquish his hold on the weapon, the Inquisitor attacked him. After a long hard battle, Kair was able to stun his opponent, flee and escape on a moving vehicle. During his battle with the Inquisitor, Kair had (through his force sensitivity) felt the dark energy that emanated from them. His fresh understanding as to what it was that the Jedi had fought against, combined with his new status as a wanted criminal, pushed Kair to join the Rebel Alliance and deal whatever blows to the empire that he could.

Like most members of his species outside Dorin, Kair wears a breathing mask and goggles to protect himself in oxygen-rich atmospheres. He also wears battered and faded red duraplast armour on his torso, arms and legs.

He also wears repulsorlift boots which allow him to jump higher than he ordinarily would be.

Kair's primary weapon is an A280 blaster rifle but he also wields a DC-17 heavy blaster pistol and a vibroblade made of a cortosis weave able to combat lightsaber blows.

Skills and abilities:
Kair is fiercely intelligent and good at thinking on his feet. He is also minorly force sensitive which can help in some situations. He is proficient with all of his weapons save for his broken lightsaber.

Are they willing to
die for The Rebel Alliance?: He would rather not, but accepts it as a strong possibility.

Name: Xenith

Age: 23

Gender:Masculine programming

Race: IG-100 MagnaGuard

Appearance:

500

Personality: Has a few oddities and quircks. A sense of humour where Xenith is often very sardonic, despite this Xenith is often honour bound to whomever Xenith has sworn allegiance to. Meaning Xenith will sacrifice his own life to save that of another. For the majority though Xenith is quite fun loving and enjoys things others may think to be trivial and cherishes such things.

Personal History: Xenith being a nickname given to this MagnaGuard, or at least the sounds that could be made out from Grievous's fortress. Xenith had been left at the fortress for an age that not even this MagnaGuard could tell. Because of this Xenith had not had a memory wipe for some time leading to what some would say a sense of individuality. With this 'individuality' Xenith was able to decide who and what it would fight for. After hearing tales of these rebels Xenith who had been wandering around searching for anything or anyone who would go near Xenith. Xenith decided that Xenith belonged with the rebels. Despite wanting to do good many beings harboured hatred toward Xenith who would often time make a joke about it and choose not to fight with anyone. However in areas under a heavy influence from imperials Xenith would steal items that may be of use to those who needed it most.

Finding the rebellion turned out to be quite hard for Xenith, so Xenith spent a lot of time working as a bounty hunter this way xenith could capture villains who deserved to be locked away and potentially help hero whose names had been slandered. Xenith eventually earned enough money to bribe several beings for information.

Tools/Weapons: Two electrostaffs although they seen better days, Xenith is strangely attached to these inanimate objects.especially the one he pillaged off of another IG-100 MagnaGuard. Furthermore Xenith has a RPS-6 rocket launcher. which he rarely uses unless need be because he prefers close combat fighting.

300

Skills and abilities: In order to take down bounties quickly and efficiently Xenith was able to develop as an assassin making use of the electrostaff he has. And can dual wields the electrostaffs he posseses. Also Xenith who has received several modifications is able to withstand more blows to limbs. Can continue fighting will the loss of his head and limbs, and is proficient in unarmed combat as well seeking out the vitals of any target quickly. In addition being able to survey large areas due to the sensory systems he has.

are they willing to die for the rebel alliance?: Xenith will continue to fight for what he thinks is right. As he realises he had been used for too long and wants change. Because of this want, this need for change Xenith will die for the rebel alliance of he deems is necessary.

Profile

Basics

N/A

Alpha-19/Helios

Human clone

Chronological=32

Biological=42

Appearance

Black

Brown

1.8 m

80 kg

Helios bares an aged but very visible scar that diagonally crosses his face and passes over his left, bionic, eye. A tattoo of an Arkanian Dragon covers his lean, scarred and rough back, the lines still fresh even after 20 years of having it done.

Helios is a clone, and he looks like all other clones. Age has been good to him, his lean face holding up even after all the years with accelerated aging. Wrinkles have appeared on his forehead, and the skin is rough after all the battles he has seen. Other than that, the 15 year cryosleep he was put into helped a lot to maintain his appearance.

Core Traits

Source: Ash's Guide to RPG Personality and Background

Outlook:

Helios has a very mixed worldview. He can sometimes be optimistic, which he is most of the time, but he varies depending on the situation, being a flexible clone. He figures in some situations that its every man for himself, and in others he feels the world is a good place, where one man needs to take care of his brothers.

Integrity:

Helios believes that hard work is necessary in order to get something done. He is meticulous in his actions, almost surgically so, attempting perfection in almost every task, be it making a sandwich or putting a hole into a targets forehead. He despises laziness and finds people that people who have this as a value obnoxious and useless to him and society as a whole.

Impulsiveness:

Helios, being a clone soldier, and more importantly, and ARC trooper, is highly disciplined and thoughtful of his actions, revising the consequences and possible outcomes of whatever he is going to do much before he actually does it in order to facilitate the best options possible.

Boldness:

He is as daring as he is cautious. After a prolonged time in training, he has found that being too daring is dangerous, but too cautious can be harmful as well. Helios feels that the connection and balance of the two should be perfect if whatever he is doing is to result in victory.

Tolerance:

He is tolerant of people and new situations, responding warmly but alertly, tending to not be so open and forgiving to them as he would towards a person he has known for a long time.

Interactivity:

He is talkative, most of the times. Being a mostly extroverted person, Helios enjoys the company of other people most of the time, even if its just a crowd he's in. Although its just physical. His helmet filters most of the noises out. He is a respectful person as well, to whoever he feels deserves it.

Conformity:

Helios is a freethinker when it comes to cultural norms and religion, basing himself only on reason and what he thinks is reality. His opinions are down to earth and even though he privately despises religion, he tolerates people who are, pitying them in his head.

Personality

Characteristics

To be Helios is to be a strong leader. Someone decisive, but cautious, who ponders his options and the consequences that will result with each one.

He cares strongly for the health of his allies and 'brothers', as he was bred to do, but he is all in all a lone wolf, preferring not to involve other people in his job. He is a talkative, energetic man, willing to kill a few people and have a nice Nerf steak and caf after the fact. He will do whatever it takes to achieve success, even if that means making use of extreme measures.

Like most Alpha ARC troopers, Helios is extremely thick headed, and will rarely cede to other opinions, unless the order is given by a Jedi, whom he trusts and was told to obey while in training with Jango Fett. Albeit this, he will not doubt in voicing his concerns and disapproval to anyone.

Preferences:

Helios always enjoys a nice Nerf steak at his favorite restaurant in Coruscant sitting on the terrace as he watches people pass by. Collecting bounties and credits and putting Impies to the grave is also a hobby of his, after his desertion from the former.

Peeves:

As most humans, almost humans or other mentally sane species, he despises the Empire and their modus operandi. He finds them awfully unorganized and weak in the knees, the officers always making the stormtroopers do the dirty work. As a Clone himself, droids are also a peeve of his, having fought a fair number of them at the end of the clone wars. He also utterly despises Kaminoans.

Motivations:

Helios is motivated by fighting, and by the thought of a free world where he and his brothers in arms can be safe without having to fear prosecution or death. Thinking of the Clone wars and the Jedi Order motivate him greatly, since that is the world he wishes to have again.

(Optional) Quirks/Habits:

One of his most obvious quirks at first sight is his habit of of running his fingers through his silver-speckled black hair. He also has a habit of mumbling Mandalorian war chants to himself while his helmet is in place.

(Optional) Hobbies:

He enjoys drinking a good ale now and then, along with his Nerf steak, and he'll never turn down a good game of Pazaak. Aside from this, challenges to the death from other bounty hunters he also enjoys, loving the adrenaline fueled action behind them and almost always coming up victorious.

(Optional) Disorders:

Luckily, and thanks to his amazing training, Helios does not own any disorders and is in quite good mental health.

(Optional) Sexual Orientation:

Straight

(Optional) Sense of Humor:

Helios is known for his rude and often untactful sense of humor, making jokes or sarcasm over things that are controversial or that make people feel uncomfortable.

Background

History

Alpha 19 was born in 32 BBY, ten years before the first Battle of Geonosis, in the Tipoca City Cloning Facility on the vast of ocean planet of Kamino, surrounded by Kaminoans, Aiwha, Human and Sullustan Mandalorian Cuy'val Dar, water and, of course, his clone brethren.

Alpha Batch Advanced Recon Commando 19, nicknamed Helios, was raised and trained by the infamous bounty hunter and founder of the Cuy'val Dar- a group of 100 elite Mandalorian and non Mandalorian female and male warriors who, considered disappeared or dead after accepting, were offered the task of training the ten thousand Republic Special Forces for the upcoming Clone Wars- Jango Fett.

Helios, being a clone, was cursed with the age acceleration which had been implemented by the Kaminoan cloning engineers in order to grow and train an army of capable, disciplined soldiers in ten years time to fight the growing Separatist threat. Because of this, Helios barely had any childhood at all, aside from a few times after training where he and his pod-brothers would sneak out of their quarters and stealthily steal the Kaminoans Uj cake from under their noses to enjoy a sweet treat. Jango pretended to make a big deal out of it in front of the complaining engineers, but he let them off with little to no punishment.

The Commandos and ARCs saw combat far before the Battle of Geonosis. In fact, a real blaster was put into their hands and used in training the moment they were able to hold one, which was approximately at the age of three. At this age they were also capable of speaking like a well educated adult, having a vast knowledge of everything thanks to some flash training and their super-absorbent brains, capable of gathering and learning information at an incredible speed.

At the outrageous age of ten, Helios and all the GAR clone troopers experienced first hand the real world battlefield in 22 BBY, in the first Battle of Geonosis, the starting point of the Clone wars. He was put in charge of a squad of another three Alpha-class ARC troopers and the squad was subsequently named Squad 19, after Helios. Their task was to infiltrate and demolish a highly guarded Geonosian Spire, serving at that particular moment as a communications tower, which was feeding information to the CIS fleet, currently engaged in combat with the Republic fleet, and in turn the tower received important strategic and tactical suggestions and data that was used against the Republic forces on the surface. Below it was also a droid factory that was spewing out reinforcements and an agonizing rate, therefore making it difficult for the Clone forces to advance.

The ARCs successfully infiltrated the spire, neutralizing its outer defenses and its shield generator, which prompted bombardment from the Republic artillery, trapping the squad inside. What had not been foreseen by GAR Intelligence was the existence of a signal jammer deep underground inside the droid factory. Close to death and with few other available options, Helios ordered his men to evacuate themselves from the crumbling spire as he deigned to descend into the factory. After another successful infiltration, he avoided detection as he scouted the insides of the factory, all the while planting thermal detonators on main support points throughout the facility. He then discovered the signal jammer, a huge construct in a cave, which he managed to set to auto destroy itself.

Albeit being detected in the very last moment, Helios extracted himself to the surface only to find his three brothers waiting for him where he left them. Surprised, happy and a bit angry, he greeted them and after some moderate rejoicing, he activated the detonator, destroying the factory and the jammer. Thus, the squad was now able to contact Republic forces in order to cease fire on the spire. The Republic gained a very strategic point in the battle.

There was, however, little time to celebrate and, with the tide now turned in favor of the Republic, the battle raged on until the Republic emerged victorious, both sides having suffered many losses.

When returned to Coruscant, Helios and many other ARCs were put into a Cryosleep until their services were again required, in order to preserve them from the accelerated aging. He partook in another ten battles throughout the Clone Wars, achieving great victories.

Of course like that of any other clone, the major turning point in his life was Order 66, also known as the Great Jedi Purge, issued by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Helios and his three companions, as well as many other ARC troopers, had met many Jedi in their battles and adventures, and had grown to accept, respect and obey them. So when the order came through their comlinks, the four men instead parted ways and deserted the GAR.

The rise of the empire was a bitter one, and Helios knew it. Palps did not appreciate deserters, so Helios was often met by groups of assassins, which he easily took care of. He knew he was on the Emperors WANTED list. After a few years of experiencing life as a bounty hunter, collecting bounties and doing other jobs and contracts, Helios started to wish for a safe world where clone deserters could live in peace and by their own will. He often smuggled quantities of said clones and research data on age acceleration to the former GAR trainer and Cuy'val Dar Kal Skiratra, whom he knew had the same wishes and was creating a commune for clones to live in on Mandalore.

After learning of the birth of the Rebellion, desperate to do good and to earn money for his brothers and bored, he sought them out in order to join them. Glad to have someone with his skillset with them, they accepted him. When they set out to search for members for the Special Operations Rogue 2 squad, Helios gladly volunteered for the job, seeking to help as much as he could to destroy the empire and free his brothers and himself at last. He is willing to do anything- even dying- to save his brothers from a premature death. So yes, he would die for the Rebellion.

Aspirations

Helios aspires to form a world for clones to live in without fear of being persecuted by the empire or other entities. He wishes for him and his brothers to lead normal lives as normal humans without having to be worried about death.

(Optional) Personal Quests/Mysteries

Helios' personal quest is to find some kind of antidote or reversal method for the age acceleration implemented into the clones so that he and his brethren can live a long and healthy life.

Abilities and Gear

Skills

Helios is a jack of all trades, being trained by one of the greatest bounty hunters of all times. He is a master of hand to hand combat (CQC, in pretty much all styles), he can find his way through a 10 inch thick durasteel blast door pretty easily (demolitions expert), and he is known for having shot a Geonoshian larvae from one and a half klicks away (weapons and sharpshooting specialist). He is adept in stealth and infiltration and of course his specialization is in the latter, being designed for black ops and the kind.

Gear

When he deserted the GAR and became a bounty hunter, Helios found the way to earn enough credits to buy him a very nice arsenal through hunting.

When Helios deserted the GAR, he decided to ditch the old school ARC trooper armor and steered to mandalore to get outfitted. There, he made friends with a mandalorian blacksmith who made him a set of beautiful Beskar'gam modeled after the clones sandstorm armor. With the mandalorian metal and a small personal shield, it was capable of withstanding even a few lightsaber strikes. However, the personal shield is something very punctual since the energy drainage does not allow him to activate it for more than thirty seconds and it has a cooling time of a minute.

As weaponry, Helios brandishes, as his main sidearm, a modified DLR-44. As his main weapon, he utilizes the standard ARC trooper weapon, the WESTAR-M5. He, however, will pick up any blaster and know how to shoot it thanks to his training, so if he loses his weapons its not the end of the world.

Helios also pilots a Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft, slightly modified for better speeds and with better weapons systems, much like the one used by Jango Fett during the early stages of the clone wars and after used by his son and successor, Boba Fett. Helios' Firespray is painted a snowy white with jet black detailing and the modifications include an enhanced hyperdrive system, hull reinforcement, reactor enhancement, a full Merr-Sonn weapons pack overhaul and an enhanced shield generator.

Hm. Ok. Well firstly I can tell that your character is not an ARC trooper. You are referring to a Republic Commando, who are a cut above the ARCs. Which is fine, of course. We're all meant to be badasses here - but as you said yourself, your guy is a one man army.

I'm fine with him being a former Republic Commando, but we've already kicked one guy for being overpowered, and I fear that that's exactly what your character would be. I'm afraid he would need a fairly substantially reduced arsenal (for example, a primary and sidearm instead of two pistols and two bulky rifles slung over his back) and certainly a fairly reduced explosives package.

Also, his ship is entirely irrelevant. The Rebellion are providing one to us. As a last detail, I'm afraid that whilst your character can certainly be a commando and have some badass armour, his armour cannot be the armour he wore as a commando. It would be too recognisable as something from the Clone Wars, and attract all sorts of attention that he wouldn't be able to deal with on his own - and nobody can afford to have a Mandalorian metalworker redo their armour with lightsaber resistant steels. Personally, I would opt for a vibroblade instead. In the hands of a skilled combatant, it's just as good.

I also want to make it clear that despite their mastery of CQC, your character will not be able to stand up to the more powerful Dark Side adepts in solo combat that way. Mandalorian Iron etc is lightsaber resistant, but my character's vibroblade is already partially ruined from sustained contact with a lightsaber.

Oh, you say that hes a commando because of the Katarn armor? Yeeeah that wasn't actually on the original CS. Actually, there was nothing about gear on the original one and I rushed it a bit so I'm sorry about that. I can change that in a skippy. The weapooons... yeah I agree with you there. Honestly, when I posted the CS I already admitted to myself that you might not like him because he is extremely OP, so don't worry. I would love to keep the two DLR's and just the sniper, if thats okay. I'll omit the Flex 5 and the thermal dets if you want me to nerf him. Omission of the katarn part of the armor is no problem either (plus, the one in the picture doesn't look like katarn either, thats why I picked it) so I'll change all those things.

Yeeeah I know the ships irrelevant but I was on fire making an OP character and I just decided to write down anything that came into my mind. Please take into the account that none of the skills or gear were in the original one, so he wasn't this op. I figured the rebellion would give them a ship and stuff, I just thought it'd be a neat little detail if I added his personal ship just to add some extra juice. (And trust me, I know the difference between ARCs and Commandos and I know Alpha ARCs did not serve on Geonosis but its for the sake of the plot ya know. I needed to make something up to make the Bio long and quite detailed in the other RP)

So yeah, I completely understand all your points and I will not argue because honestly you are in the right here. I'll change those things and yeah, tell me if I need to change more or if I should just scrap the CS and forget about it.

I edited it and I reeeeally hope thats nerfed enough because I honestly wouldn't know what else to nerf. The personal shield thing is more of a show off, since it clearly is not very efficient, so I can assure you thats not going to be exploited. In any case, I'd use it in a very precise scenario where it may come in handy, but as I said, its only 30 seconds of shield. (if thats too much than I'll just remove it all together)

I am more than willing to cooperate with you in the editing of this CS so as to get this guy into the RP, so whatever you feel needs to be changed, please tell me.

Actually, the reason I assumed he was RC instead of ARC was because a large part of his bio seemed suspiciously similar to the events and storyline of the Geonosis segment of the actual game, Star Wars: Republic Commando - which by the was is a fantastic game.

In fact, given that we're all probably going to die by the end of this RP anyway, if you wanted to increase his badass factor by making him a full RC instead of ARC, I'd be fine with that. Also, yes, the CS is fine with these modifications, as long as he isn't too overpowered in practice.

I should also inform everyone that my character is not going to be the only Jedi in this... eventually. I have a friend in the Netherlands who just needs to get around to watching the sodding films, and then she'll... ah, make an appearance. Of sorts. I'm also trying to recruit more of my personal friends to play Jedi, because being the only one feels conceited - and if anyone wants to make a second character at this point, feel free to put it out there. These missions are incredibly dangerous and it is conceivable that, if you want to move on to a new character, your old one can find a suitably dramatic and feels-hitting death.
