Ian Temero
Knight of Swords
NAME: Talannia / Amatiel
TITLE: Darth Razarač
SPECIES: Human
FACTION:One Sith, Unafiliated
CLASSIFICATION: Sith Lord/Lady (Marauder), Wanderer
TIER: Knight
COMBAT STYLE: Form IV (Ataru), Form V (Djem So), Form VII (Juyo), Tràkata
Specializing in taking on many opponents at once Amatiel throws herself into the middle of a crowd, often using the Ataru style to close the distance before switching to Juyo form to use her massive blade to cut through swathes of bodies at once and even entire sections of ships, making her something of a one-woman-arm. However she is no slouch when it comes to single combat either. Even with such an unwieldy weapon she can fight proficiently in close quarters with Tràkata by turning the blade on and off as needed, avoiding obstacles that would otherwise get in the way, allowing her to fight in much tighter quarters than the weapon would normally allow, and keeping her opponent guessing as to when the blade's coming out. It is important to note however that she forgoes almost all defense with the blade, preferring to go all out attack and let her force abilities protect her. In the rare case where she feels the need to defend herself she'll switch to Djem So style, allowing her to stay on the offensive even while defending. However at the base of everything she does is still Juyo, a form that she is indisputably a master of.
WEAPONS: One might be forgiven for thinking that the plain, black with a red stripe down its length, rod hanging from Amatiel's back might be a small double bladed lightsaber, it's 1 1/2 foot length being about the right size for one. That is, until she turns it on and the nearly 10 foot long plasma beam pops out.
Amatiel wields a great lightsaber (aka: lightclub or greatsaber) made of Mandalorian iron, with a refined phobium emitter and vibration lens to create a highly disruptive beam, and a modified handle to better fit a normal sized person's hands. Her blade also possesses a duel phase emitter, allowing her to shift the blade's length between its classic 10 feet and a more manageable 6 feet. The handle is still significantly heavier than most lightsabers and that, combined with its unwieldy length, makes it a very difficult weapon to wield. In addition, Amatiel's greatsaber requires 5 kyber crystals to make up for the lack of room for the usual one that projects such a long blade; Upari, Sigil, and Opila crystals to increase the blade's pure cutting power; a Hurrikain crystal to tear through shields and defenses; and one rather unusual crystal of unknown origins.
For whatever reason Amatiel possesses a force bond with this crystal despite her connection to the darkside and it seems to respond emphatically to her, shifting and changing with her mental state. When angry the crystal may cause her blade to become unstable, more tearing through rather cutting what it strikes. Or when feeling focused, the crystal may cause the blade to condense into a finer beam, allowing for more precise blows. I addition Amatiel can always feel this crystal's location and should they be separated it will always manage to find its way back to her, though not always with the lightsaber it was supposed to be in. This crystal is also responsible for the color of her blade and changes as she draws closer or further from either side of the Force. Currently her blade is a faded red, as if it were turning grey.
ARMOR/CLOTHING: Amatiel isn't too picky when it comes to clothes, willing to wear just about anything as long as it covers most her body, though she does have a red scarf that you can almost never find her without. She forgoes any form of armor, preferring the mobility she gains without it.
PERSONALITY: Darth Razarač was known to be sadistic warmonger. Indoctrinated into the Rule of One at a young age, the One Sith was the closest thing to a family that she ever knew. She was a serious battle junkie relished every opportunity she got to have her blade in her hand, whether it was challenging someone who looked strong, being sent out into a battlefield to wreak havoc, or even simply slaughtering groups of defenseless people. Outside of the battlefield she was always looking for something fun or exciting to do. She was loud and rambunctious but a surprisingly good natured person, willing to just laugh off insult and inconveniences as they just made the day more interesting, and would even let off attempts on her life, depending on how they tried to kill her, claiming "Just part of being Sith!" or "That was fun! Let's do it again sometime!" If she was in an especially good mood she might even be helpful and assist a youngling or apprentice that seemed to be struggling with something. However the longer she went without a fight or something exciting happening the more subdued and grumpy she got, almost sulking as fighting was one of the few thing that could get her blood pumping. When she got in this mood it was best to avoid her as she became vicious, tripping younglings just for a quick chuckle, provoking those around her to get them to fight her, and lashing violently out at anyone who upset her.
However after her amnesiac period, having seen and lived a completely different lifestyle than the one she grew up in, the girl no longer knows what to believe in, or even who she really is anymore. Is she Razarač, the Sith Lady who found pleasure in violence? Or is she Amatiel, the amnesiac village girl who enjoyed a peaceful life? All that she was certain of was that she could not find happiness with the One Sith. Now she's just a conflicted soul, simply trying to find herself. She has trouble opening up to others despite how much she wants companionship and has trouble bringing herself to trust others. And while she can still be a little energetic at times, Amatiel is a much quieter and more dour person now than she used to be, no longer getting the same thrills from action as she once did. She's a little quick to try to solve her problems with violence rather than words, but when her emotions flare up or a battle gets too heated then the vicious, battle obsessed side of her that was Darth Razarač starts to peek through.
TRAITS: Across most of her body, save for her face, can be found the black tattoos that most members of the One Sith have. However she tends to wear long clothes and gloves in an attempt to keep them covered up, though she avoids robes and the like. She also has a red scarf that it's rare to find her without. When bored she tends to fiddle with with either the scarf or a ring on her finger, gold with red gems embedded within, that seems to have a small amount of dark energy. And occasionally she can be caught talking to herself, or someone she calls Skära, when she thinks no one is listening,
SKILLS:
- Greatsaber mastery
- Form VII mastery
- Zero gravity movement
- Piloting (small fighters, boarding vessels, and drop pods)
- Dueling
- Anti-squadron combat
- Acrobatics & Athletics
FORCE POWERS:
While Amatielis was as proficient in most areas of the Force as any other Sith Lord/Jedi Master, save mind effecting powers with which she kinda sucks, she does have a few powers that she is especially good with. Her current state of self-confusion and doubt however has weakened her abilities, some more than others.
Enhance Abilities & Fury
Amatiel can use the force to enhance her own physical abilities in the middle of combat, allowing for bursts of speed and strength. Channeling into the Dark Side with Fury she can further enhance her abilities in a berserk rage.
Tutaminis
More than just excelling at this, one might say this is her specialty. Amatiel coats her entire body in film of force to deflect, dissipate, and absorb energy from both energy attacks and force abilities. She has mastered this ability to such a degree that she can keep it active with little focus, shrugging off blaster bolts, draining the batteries of machines, and even parrying lightsaber blades with her bare hands. She then redirects the absorbed energy into either keeping this power active since it takes a lot of stamina to maintain or bolstering her other force abilities. She relies almost exclusively on this power for defense rather than her saber skills.
Shaterpoint
Breath Control
Alter Damage
While initially designed to reduce the damage of a lightsaber, Amatiel has leaned how to invert the effects to instead enhance the destructive power of her weapon.
Amplify Blade
A unique power that truly sets her apart from any other, Amatiel is able to expand the destructive area of her blade beyond what it should be capable of, extending its already enormous length and leaving slashes several times the blade's initial width. In her current state however at best she can extend the blade maybe a foot or two and maybe double its width.
Force Blade
Another unique power, Amatiel is able to expel the energy from her saber and launch it at her enemies, flinging blades of plasma through the air. This power requires a lot of energy and focus to preform so she can not be using any other Force powers at the time and can not use it in rapid succession. Currently however Amatiel is unable to use this power effectively, or even really at all, as she can't seem to focus the energy enough to throw or, when she does, it simply dissipates the moment it leaves her saber.
Where she learned these powers or how they work in the first place is a mystery; whether they're an advanced form of Force Weapon or her inverted Alter Damage, some kind of meld of the two powers, or if she's simply manipulating and/or creating the excess energy by herself? Either way the truth and origin of this power is a secret she guards jealously.
BIO/HISTORY:
Born into the New Sith Order, Darth Razarač was once considered the strongest saber fighter in the One Sith, though she never was given the title of Hand. That's because she was no assassin, she was a one woman army. Any soldier who heard her name on the battlefield would sooner turn and run than face the slaughter they knew was coming as she was said to cut her way through entire battalions on her own. Rumors even claimed she once tore apart a Union Dreadnought with nothing but her enormous lightsaber during the Battle of Gerrenthum, rode the wreckage to the planet surface, fought her way though the capital city alone, and killed the planet's governor, winning the battle. Whether these claims are true or not no one wants to find out as her blade would surely be the last thing they ever saw.
However after a failed assault on the planet Dantooine, Darth Razarač vanished. A whole year passed and she was presumed dead, until she was found living quietly in a small village on the planet under the name Amatiel, having forgotten everything. The Sith dragged her back, destroying the town, and forcing her memories to return. But the experience had changed her. She couldn't go on mindlessly killing like she used to, memories of those happy families constantly springing to mind when on missions. And when her loss of conviction started getting her demoted and abused by her sith "family" she really began to question the meaning of family and the happiness it was supposed to bring and if this was really where she was supposed to belong. So when news of Darth Krayt's death reached the One Sith she took advantage of the chaos to steal a ship and escape.

- Fight for Apprenticeship (Age: 12)
-
Her first memories are of a lightsaber in her hands. Like most in the New Sith Order, Amatiel (known as Talannia then) was trained from birth under the tenets of the Rule of One and was raised to view the One Sith as something of a family. As a child she excelled in saber training but had little patience for force training and would often sneak out of it (and got beaten later for it) to go hang out in the saber training hall. At the age of twelve she became eager to start her real training, to become an apprentice under an actual master and officially join the ranks of the Sith. However because of her lack of diligence towards force training no master would take her in, believing her to be a waste of time, and instead considering making her a basic soldier. Indigent and impatient, Talannia decide to try and prove her worth, stealing a lightsaber and sneaking on board a ship departing for a raid on an Alliance Remnant outpost.
Unfortunately the Alliance forces were ready for them, their soldiers already in position, defenses powered on, and even had 3 Jedi Knights and a Master inside. The battlefield became chaos and before Talannia even knew what was happening her ship was shot out of the sky and crashed near the outpost. Luckily she had managed to get through with a only a few scrapes and bruises, but the same could not be said for the troopers that had been on board nor her borrowed lightsaber, so she grabbed one of the guns that were no longer being used and made for the compound, slipping inside though a small vent.
Using her small size to her advantage, Talannia crept through the building mostly unnoticed, taking out the isolated soldiers that either noticed her or that she managed to get the drop on, until she made her way to the compound defense's control room where just outside she found three Sith Knights locked in combat with a massive Houk Jedi. Outclassed and overpowered in every way, the Jedi Master tore through the Sith with his lightclub and when Talannia raised her gun to shoot, just as the last Sith was struck down, the Jedi spun around and used the force to pull the gun from her hand. But as he raised his massive blade to cut her down he froze, as he realized that he was facing a child.
It was at this moment that Talannia had her first experience with Shaterpoint. She saw what seemed to be glowing cracks around the base of his thumb and some innate feeling telling her that that she needed to hurt that, but no longer having any weapon she needed a different approach. So while the Master's guard was dropped, conflicted as to what he should do, Talannia thought back to what few classes she had been a part of, reached out with the force and tugged on the cracks. There was a pop as his thumb, which had been dislocated a few month prior, was yanked out of its socket and his blade fell from his hand, which the girl immediately lunged for.
Not long after the compound's defense went down, giving the Sith forces the advantage they needed to end the battle. When the forces went to the control room to investigate they found the slain Houk Master outside, nearly cut in half across his chest, and Talannia inside, exhausted and struggling to carry the massive weapon that she had used to demolish all the machinery in the room, a massive grin on her face.
Now whether the youngling's victory over a Jedi master was a testament to her skills or simply the result of pure luck, Talannia's efforts paid off as a Sith Marauder by the name of Darth Antagor took an interest in her and decided to take her on as his apprentice. He decided to forgo the usual orthodox lightsaber training and instead taught her to use the greatsaber that she had take as a trophy from the Master she defeated, and to use the force to further enhance her combat abilities. He was a cruel teacher though, often striking her with lightning when she messed something up or throwing her into fight against lethal training droids or vicious beast for "practical training". - Tomb of Skära (Age: 14)
-
After several years of this (her coming to hate him more with each one) Darth Antagor decided to send her on a mission. To join an excavation team to investigate a recently discovered tomb below the surface of Ossus and retrieve any artifacts she might find, especially if it was the Halocron of Skära, an ancient dark force user who was said to have been able create energy blades long before the existence of lightsabers and even played a part in creating the earliest versions of them. Begrudgingly she joined up with the team, not in the least bit excited to explore a dusty old ruin on a history field-trip, but it didn't take long to discover that they had not been the first ones to find the place, most of the rooms and containers having been opened and emptied long ago. Discouraged the team pushed into the main burial room to realize that they also weren't the only ones in the tomb as a team of Jedi were standing over the sarcophagus, a Sith Holocron in their hands. It didn't take long for the two sides to start fighting, to her relief and excitement, and Talannia found herself squaring off against an Echani girl around her age. Much to her surprise the padawan didn't seem all that tripped up over her unconventional weapon, something that had won Talannia several fights against older and more experienced apprentices, and not only was holding her own but was actually giving her a challenge, a fact that brought the young Sith great joy and drove her to fight harder, to see how far she and this girl could push each other. They were so engrossed in their own fight that they didn't notice when one of the other combatants accidentally damage a supporting pillar that caused the room to start collapsing. Even as the others escaped or were crushed by falling debris the two girls were too focused on the fight, too focused on each other, to notice anything happening around them and when they finally did notice the room had already finished collapsing, leaving only a small area around the sarcophagus, the Holocron, and them untouched.
Too exhausted to keep fighting at this point, both girls collapsed to the floor for a breather and to gather their strength. After a minute Talannia got bored and decided to strike up a conversation with the girl. She didn't get much of anywhere at first, the Jedi padawan probably cautious about talking to a Sith, but eventually she managed to get through her shell, learning that her name was Kittani Niktano. They chatted for a bit before Talannia found enough strength to stand up first, but rather than finishing her off as Kittani was afraid she would and probably should have, she decided that she had come to like the Echani girl and would much rather let her live and get a chance to fight her again. Plus finding a way out of the collapsed tomb would be easier with an extra set of hands. She jokingly offered that if she needed to take a nap for a little bit that there was a perfectly good sarcophagus right there, then after checking the coffin and finding it empty except for the Holocron decided to prove her point and hop in, only to be caught by surprise when the bottom collapsed and dumped her into a hidden passage. A minute later the recovered Kittani climbed down with her, they collected the Holocron, and the two set off to investigate.
She lost track of how long the had been walking for, han our at least, but eventually the passage opened up into a single room. Another burial chamber, smaller the the one they had fought in but far more ornate, and had been undisturbed for millennia until then.
This was Skära's true burial chamber.
The walls were covered in carvings in an ancient language neither of them could read and reliefs depicting a blindfolded woman in several scenes. In one she could be seen on her knees, reaching out to accept a blade of fire from a man, then turning to offer the same blade to another as he and several others with the blade fought a strange enemy who wielded the same weapons. The enemy's number diminished until there were none and there was celebration, but the woman and the men she had armed now all had black gems embedded in their chests.
On the next wall there was another war like the first, but this time the blindfolded woman and those black gems in their hearts raised their flaming blades against people just like them who wielded normal swords and had white gems in their chests. Many on both sides fell but as the scene continued and those with the flaming blades fell, the woman began to lower her sword more and more until no more black gems remained and her head hung low, her own gem now grey.
The next wall depicted the blindfolded woman, grey jeweled, staring down at the flaming blade in her hands. Then the blade was next to her as she held another one in her hand with a slightly different shape. Then that one, along with a third different one, was also by her side and a fourth was in her hands. This continued for some time until finally, surrounded by discarded blades, she held in her hands a sword and a box, connected together by a rope, with rays of light radiating from the blade. And her gem was white as snow.
In the final mural the blindfolded woman was depicted alone with sword in hand, sometimes wielding the flaming blade sometimes the one of light, but without any gem in her chest. In one scene she was shown cutting through a pillar with ease. In another her blade had seemed to have grown in size, though the handle remained the same. In the third she was bending the blade between her hands. In the forth she shown swinging her blade while a second blade flew through the air. And finally the woman stood an arm outstretched as a blade that had no handle floated above her hand.
Lining the walls were urns, boxes, and chest, the containers filled with what might have once been clothes, papers so aged they fell apart in their hands, and several Forcesaber and Protosaber prototypes that were weathered far beyond any use. In the single sarcophagus that lay in the center of the room however they found a skeleton, any clothes it had once been wearing long turned to dust except oddly for a blindfold tied around its skull, a broken Forcesaber with a clear crystal set inside, a protosaber with no crystal, a gold ring embedded with small red gems, and a couple of other relics. For some reason Talannia felt drawn to the ring and the crystal and before she even knew what she was doing had already slipped the ring on her finger and pocketed the crystal. She and Kittani then collected the rest of the relics and, after a bit of searching, found another passage leading out and up.
The walked for a very long time, always climbing up a seemingly endless hallway. Neither of them had any supplies with the, their gear having been buried. Every so often they would find what seemed to be a store room along the way. While they were able to find sanitary water any food had long gone bad, though once they manage to catch a rat like creature and cook it using their lightsabers, but it was not enough to fill their bellies for long. And when they needed to sleep they would use one of these rooms, huddling together in their cloaks for warmth. They traveled for what must have been days before the finally reached the end, tired and starving as they pushed open the doors and tumbled out onto Ossus' surface. They lay there for some time before Talannia pulled out her communicator and called for a pickup.
When a ship arrived finally arrived some time later the Sith on board, some of them being surviving members of the excavation team, asked how she managed to get out. When she turned to point out the doors she discovered they were gone, seemingly having closed themselves and vanished. On top of that something in the back of her mind told her that she should keep quiet about secret chamber, so she instead she told them that she didn't know. That the last thing she remembered was the ceiling collapsing and then she woke up here with the Holocron, the sabers and relics, and Kittani; though upon bringing the exhausted Jedi Padawan to their attention the Sith drew their blades and stalked towards her. As a Sith herself she should have just let it happen, Kittani was a Jedi, her sworn enemy,
