Background story: Fresh out of fleet school, Walker was assigned to the USS Phoenix. After spending 4 years there, he transferred to Officer school, where he earned his stripes as an ensign. He was assigned to an exploration vessel for 5 years, exploring the galaxy as an ensign, and then as the First Officer when the Captain died. When hostilities broke out between the Klingon's and the Federation, Walker returned to earth and convinced the Admiral to let him run his own ship. They designed and built the ship within 6 months, and rapidly deployed it. Now at the forefront of the fleet, he has been patrolling the neutral zone, and area just outside of Klingon space, ensuring the safety of transport ships in the area. However, he has felt the tensions in his crew. Concerned for their safety, he has begun taking his own precautions in preparation of a mutiny on the ship.
