Star Trek: Lost Galaxy
Space, the Final Frontier.....at least, so they say in the Federation. But is it really the final one? Or merely the one that is the most exciting for them to explore and to CONQUER?
It is time for a test, so they say. It is time to see what they have to offer. IN fact, there are a variety of races and cultures that it will be important to test. To one such as I, it is a boredom of existence without something to do. But here and now, a continuing challenge to add to those already placed in this Lost Space.
Will those brought before these uncharted stars that are unknown to them bring forth order? Will they Conquer as others have not before? Will they spread their sciences among the stars? Will they find a way home? Or will they make all ONE as part of an amalgam that is an inescapable future.
Or will they manage to find me and try to gain my power?
The possibilities are endless.
But now. Now it all begins......
-----------------------------------------
A Wormhole appears before each of the players and exerts such a force that they are each pulled in in turn. NO matter how hard they would have tried to warp or impulse away, they would have found it impossible to resist its grasp. Before they knew what was happening, they were in a location where the stars did not match to any known configuration. They would know that they were not in the Alpha, Beta, Delta or Gamma Quadrants.
They were somewhere new and unknown.
There are the briefest flashes of particles before the wormhole dissipates from whence it came. This Space is new and unknown. WHat would become of them? Would they be able to get home? Did they even want to get home? Perhaps this place would be their new home, by force or diplomacy.
Talos- Dominion
On a routine patrol throughout the Dominion Space, Talos and his battle group were suddenly sucked through a mysterious portal. They quickly realize that this is not a cowardly Federation Attack or even some strange fallout of an uprising from one of the member states of the Dominion, nor even a retaliation from the Cardassians. It was something else entirely. This was something new.
Something or someone that they were not familiar with had plucked them up and placed them in this clearly unknown to them, space. It was unsettling to say the least. But they were Dominion, and he was a Vorta. He did not have the luxury to stay unsettled.
Instead, he would take in all the available data and then use it to make an appropriate conclusion. He would do the Founders proud as he was created to do by their guiding light.
Immediate scans have determined that they are in "Region 1". The solar system that they are in within this Region is made up of 7 Planets with a yellow star. The third and fifth planets support life and both seem space capable.
Volskiar- Romulan Star Empire
Volskiar had the honor within the Empire of getting one of the newest class of Warbird type ships. They would soon enough become standard through the Star Empire, but he was given one of the first. It was a glorious Honor and one that he gained due to his rank and family connections as all Romulans in Good Standing within the military can attest to. The Senate might have been rebuilt after the Shinzon incident, but it was still the Senate and good connections were always needed.
A member of the Tal'Shiar was on board to make sure that everything went smoothly and that nothing was mishandled on its maiden voyage. This ship was to be among the crown of the Romulan Fleet. The Romulan people have invested much in its new and sleaker design. Something that was much needed after the resource heavy properties of the D'Deridex Warbird that was their workhorse now for many, many years.
A mysterious wormhole opened up and sucked the ship inside, sending them hurtling through space to an unknown location in space. The stars were different and it wasn't long before they discovered a few other modified Bird Of Preys that quickly swore allegiance to Volskiar.
The Region of Space was listed as "Region 1". The solar system that they were in contained 5 planets surrounding a Red Giant Star. It contains 2 planets that support life. One of which was industrial era and the other was in early space flight.
Eight of Thirteen- Borg
8 of 13 was a Borg Specialist that was put in charge of a new fusion of Borg Cubes in preparation for fighting stronger enemies of the Collective to defeat them and get them to join in their hivemind so that all might be made one. A wormhole opened up. It was strange and not a transwarp conduit that the Borg are able to conjure up. It was something new. It was something that could bring the Borg closer to perfection as was their goal.
They would add their biological and technological distinctiveness to their own. It was fate and destiny. The final goal of the Collective was to achieve perfection through assimilation of others.
The first thing that 8 of 13 would have noticed after coming through the wormhole was that they were cut off from the Collective outside their massive ship. They were all still connected, but no longer could he hear the commands of the Queen or the trillions of multitudes of voices. It was only down to those onboard his massive UltraCube.
He would need more to maintain normal status.
They were in "Region 2"- The Solar system contained 9 Planets with a yellow star. 3 of which contained life. One was pre industrial, one was industrial and the third was spaceflight capable.
Joseph Bowie- Federation
Joseph Bowie was the Captain in charge of a new scientific group made up of his own personal vessel and two Nebula Class ships. They were on a mission to catalog a nebula with all of the particles and various scientific anomalies that were found within it. At first when a wormhole opened up in front of them, they were ecstatic, taking reading and writing notes. That is, they were until the gravitational forces sucked them all into it and deposited them in a strange region of space.
At the very least, they had more new space to explore. It was a new set of straneg worlds and strange civilizations. They were boldly going where no one had gone before.
Scanning around, they found themselves in "Region 2". The Solar System that they were in had 5 planets and a yellow star. One of them was inhabited by a space faring civilization.
Sisha Mairre- Marrie's Marauders
The Life of an Orion Pirate was one that was fast and dangerous. Having to stick to the edges of ‘civilized’ space these days since the Federation was no longer as weak as they had been with their patrols in the 23rd century.
But that did not mean that there were never any sort of delicious prizes to be had. They just had to be fought for. And Sisha was someone who loved a good fight. Especially when the other person was lying in a broken bloody heap at her feet.
She had just finished spending all her ill gotten gains from her previous raids and found herself a new quarry when suddenly, her and her fleet were pulled into some sort of strange wormhole.
The stars around them didn’t look familiar and scans confirmed that they were not in the Milky Way Galaxy. Where were they?
But more importantly, where was that juicy ship she had been about to board?
Her helmsman told her that they were in “Region 3” and the solar system that they were in had 9 planets and orbited a White Dwarf. But the biggest feature of this system was a large space station.
The chatter seemed to make this place out to be a Pirate Haven with ships of all races coming and going, flying the Pirate Flag.
Rimaj- Velka’s Pack- Hirogen
The Prey was worthy. They had fought tooth and nail as they attempted to escape the web of ships that had only now encircled them. It was the oldest trick in the book, but they were that way for a reason. They were effective.
They had tried their hardest to flee from the Hirogen Hunter Fleet, but they were no match for their cunning and guile. It was always only a matter of time before they would succeed in their task and take their trophies for their walls.
However, just as they were about to land the final series of blows, the Hunter Fleet was sucked into a mysterious wormhole, moving from the Delta Quadrant to somewhere else entirely.
What was this place? Did they fall into another Hunter’s Trap? And would they find prey in this new place?
But if they were in a trap, they would make sure that a reverse trap would be sprung and their captor would soon be Prey.
Their scans determined that they were in “Region 3” in a solar system that had 3 planets orbiting a Red Giant. One of the planets seems to have space travel with advanced ships. First glance, they seem equal to the Hirogen Vessels.
