Personality: Shes a fierce girl, she may look all cute/sexy/whatever, but if someone messes with her, that person is in big trouble. She's like Rose Hathaway. But then different at the same time. She cares for the friends that are super close to her and she would do anything to protect the Moroi. She normally acts without thinking and sometimes that could be a mistake and wind up hurting someone close to her. She's truthful, and trustworthy. She is someone that people could count on. She's funny and crazy and sometimes sarcastic, but thats what makes Annabell, well, Annabell


Background: At birth, she was seprated from her parents and put into a foster home. She literally thought the kids and the adults there were the brothers and sisters and the MOm and dad. She loved them as a child and she still does. As soon as she was 15, Some men in black had came to get her. It seemed that they knew her from somewhere and had her pack up her things. Saying goodbye to her 'Parents' she told them she would return for holiday's. If she even could. She was brought to a van and that van brought her to an academy. One of the men explained to her that she wasnt any normal human being. She was a Dhampir. Anna didnt understand at first till he explained what a Dhampir was. Now she didnt know that she was some bad-azz Dhampir that needed some training to actually be bad-azz. As soon as they got to the academy, she had been a student ever since she was 15. Shes 17 now, and new students were coming to the academy...

Personality: Blythe is a kick as* girl who will hunt Strigoi just to take out her anger, she's a loyal to the bone type of girl who would do anything for her friend(s), she is willing to take the risks that are necessary in order to get whatever it is she needs done even if that means bending the rules a bit; Blythe has her own beliefs in things and one of them is that she should be able to do what she wants when she wants as long as she doesn't go crazy for blood, she won't allow anyone to step over her or do something to either her or her friends without giving them a little payback... punching them repeatedly in the face should work. Of course I forgot to mention that Blythe is very sarcastic and a bit flirty but she doesn't flirt with just anyone seeing as how there are a lot of jerks in the Vampire Academy.


Background: Blythe has known she was a Dhampir her entire life and has had training since she was able to hold a knife right, she joined Vampire Academy as soon as she was able to join and she loves the training even though its muscle burning and pain causing. Before she joined the Vampire Academy Blythe had suffered to see the sight of her mother being torn to shreds by Strigoi as Blythe had to stay hidden because she was to young to do anything about it; when she was 14 years old her father went out to go hunt Strigoi and completely forgot he even had a daughter, she was taken care of by her Grandma when she realized that he wasn't coming back and as soon as she turned 15 she entered Vampire Academy and began her training on the first day... let's just say that she plans on having a bit of fun here as well.

Personality: Lyea is flirtatious, perceptive and sly, and often has many ways to make people spill out their darkest secrets. She's generally an outgoing girl but she has an eccentric sense of humour, which most people find well, unusual. As much as she loves socializing, she wouldn't mind letting her fists do the talking (and she's pretty good at it too, considering the amount of times she'd been sent to the office), especially if things start to get out of hand. She also has a bit of a strong personality (though some people call it being stubborn) and will stand strongly by what she believes in, and won't stop until she finishes what she started. She's extremely protective and loyal to the ones she care about, and if anyone messes with them, Strigoi, Dhampir, or Moroi, Lyea is a girl who isn't afraid to get messy.


Background: Lyea had joined the world of vampires since she was a child, and was practically raised in a school for Moroi and Dhampirs. Her parents were sort of big shots in the Guardian world, and they were both assigned to a man from the Ozera family. And while they were out protecting the Ozeras and slaying big, bad Strigois. Lyea was learning the basics of holding a person in a headlock properly. When she was finally 15, she was more than eager to start all the bad-a*s guardian training in Vampire Academy.

Personality: Ian is usually quiet and keep to himself, preferring to spend his time observing people than playing the high school game of politics. He doesn't mind talking to non-royals and treat pretty much everyone like an equal. But his cold and distant demeanour usually keep people away. Though behind his cold mask hides a sensitive and compassionate side, he's an extremely loyal person and won't stand to see his friends, or anyone get hurt. And if wore comes to worst, he'll do anything to save them, even if it means risking his own life or using his element.


Background: Ian was raised in a wealthy family, they had everything, and more than anyone could ask for. He grew up with his twin sister, Emily, and their only playmate was one of their family guardian, Hanna Alcroft. Their parents were almost always out, either travelling or visiting the Court. One day while they were home alone with Hanna and a few other guardians, a group of Strigoi had managed to sneak into their house and killed three of the guardians before they could blink. Hanna sprung into action and staked three of the Strigoi, but the last one was already by Emily, and with a flick of his arm, he snapped her neck, and Ian's sister was dead. Hanna tried to stake him but the Strigoi was too fast and she only managed to graze his arm, the last thing Ian saw was the Strigoi biting into Hanna's neck and he dragged her off. He never saw Hanna again.

Personality: Lily is shy and quiet majority of the time. She loves to help others and can usually be found in a garden when stressed or worried. She is a worry-wort as some would call her and worries about everything from grades, to the human world politics. Some would call her a little touched because she tends to zone out into her own dream world where she's braver and happier to voice her opinions. Just because she's quiet doesn't mean Lily isn't helpful, she watches the dhapmirs practice sometimes and loves to secretly mimic the moves in her dorm room when alone. She's been dancing since she was young so as a dancer she's able to move her body in the odd motions more easily but her nature is so nonviolent she could never imagine actually fighting. Lily isn't a very hateful person but she dislikes the other royals who act as if everyone else is beneath them and avoids their company so she doesn't become uncomfortable, or faced with the fact that she's too shy to voice her opinion.


Background: Lily was raised by both her mother and father, having grown up as a royal Lily was quite spoiled but at the same time her mother showed her life as a non-royal taking her on odd trips throughout her childhood to make her appreciate her position more. Lily's father was loving and babied her on the other hand though and wanted her to have everything she wished for, including her dance lessons despite seeing it as a silly hobby and talent.

She is not rude to anyone really but surrounds herself with other Royal Moroi because her parents don't want her fraternizing with Dhampir or Non royal kinds. They wish her to marry well and purebred. She is loyal to her true friends at all cost. Due to spirit she can often seem to be off her rocker and out of it. Repeating things, zoning out, rush of anger, and exhaustion are all symptoms.


Background: She comes from the Badica family and it is royal lineage. Her parents were also from a long line of roylas, Father Badica and Mother Voda. Her parents raised her strict on royal Moroi only!. She was not to socialize with anyone below her class. In secret she socialized with the Dhampirs that guarded her family and found that they were more 'real' than her own parents. She now has many different types of friends but in the public eye she is only found with others of Royal blood. However in the middle of the nights when she can not sleep, and if someone were to follow, she could be found partyin with the Dhampirs.


Other: Nelly tends to be naive and ditzy. She is usually the last one to get the jokes. For example she may not realize when she is being hit on.

Personality: Corinth, all in all, is a simple and amiable girl. She does her best when doing something, even to the extent of tiring her body and causing herself to collapse or be badly hurt. This only happened ocassionally now but. . . she still risked everything for people whom she loved or needed to protect. She's calm, and thinks before acting, but at times, prefers to take a lot of time in doing things or thinking about what to do. Corinth isn't too proud of her achievements, and if she sees worthy, teaches or helps others to achieve their goals. But despite all those that she has showed others, she still has secrets that should never be spoken of, ever or ever again.


Background: The Ravendale family was quite famous for the weapons and items that they ship to many countries. Also, they had a training facility for young Moroi and Dhampirs who were courageous enough to defend their world, including Corinth Ravendale herself. The Ravendale family was associated with worldwide Dhampirs and Moroi that were on their side, and that family grew, with the help negotiation and protection of other families and well-known people. Corinth was raised to be not just a very ladylike Dhampir, but also a strong protector. Her parents have told her long before she had started her training that she had to be ready for the future. Of course, Corinth accepted her fate, being the obedient daughter she was. Corinth underwent her training from the age of four, and just when she finished it on her fourteenth birthday (10 years later), she only knew one thing. She would be protecting people or even families with all her life, and she wasn't so sad or disappointed about it. She was confident that she would grow stronger, and she knew that she would be a better guardian when she enrolled at St. Valdimir's Academy. Of course, with the help of a few connections with fellow people, she managed to get in that very famous academy.


Others: The ribbon on her neck was once given to her by one of the trainees and childhood friend who she fell in love with, but was known to the superiors that that very friend of hers was forced to be a Strigoi. That very Strigoi had to be killed, especially because he would be very dangerous in the near future, if not now, and his kind had killed Corinth's parents when she was just seven years old. The heart-broken Corinth did so herself. Also, she's well known in the academy, being that she was there ever since four years ago.

Personality: Strong but quiet, he usually doesn't speak unless spoken to. He takes his charges very seriously, and will not back down from a fight to protect them. He is a good fighter, and upper class-man if you will, at hand on hand combat, but is decent with long range weapons. Most people fear him, only because of his silence.. When really, he's quiet because his English isn't all that good, he's still learning.


Background: Born to a Dhampir mother and a vampire royal father, this Russian boy has a very good etiquette, and is very respectful. He uses "Yes ma'am and no sir" while addressing charges and elders. He knows his place in society and accepts it well trying never to step out of bounds.. He came to the academy very young as his parents had died, his mother who was assigned to his father died defending his father from a strigoi attack, his father died shortly after. He never really knew his parents however he carries them in his heart with pride.

Personality: Henry is a laid back kind of guy, however when someone messes with his charges he gets very violent. He trains almost non stop making sure he's ready for any tests that might be thrown at him, and can't wait until he gets his first charge. As far as people go, he's definitely one of a kind, always doing his best with out really ever trying.. Now if only someone could shut him up..


Background: He was born into a family of all dhampirs, his mother and father and 2 brothers, both of which already graduated and have their charges. He was born and raised with royals, so he was very comfortable with just treating them like people who were no different from him. He had a good life, when he was shipped off to the academy..

Appearance:

Personality: He's pretty silent, and answers in very short sentences, and so, he doesn't have a lot of friends. But he voices his opinion very often and can't deny a favour that a girl asks of him, however, it has to be reasonable and not anything crazy, because he doesn't do crazy. He's a neat freak with a calm temperament, so he'll just remind you of your dirty dirty mistakes.


Background: He was born from a German Dhampir mother in Russia. His mother's family had went there, to be closer to the Moroi Family that they were protecting. The son of the Moroi family in question, however, favoured his mother, so he came to life. He inherited his mother's name, due to his unwillingness to take his father's name. He has two older sisters, who both already graduated. He knows how to wield numerous weapons and martial arts, considering his family had fortune, and that his mother and older sister's trained him during his childhood and his spare time.

Personality: Really sarcastic, dark sense of humor, and really stubborn though fairly friendly most of the time. Lexi hates arrogant people and makes sure they know it, and even though she looks confident most of the time when it comes down to it she really is a mess of insecurities on the inside. However, when it has to do with protecting the moroi she's all business and put one heck of a fight.


Background: With divorced-but-not-really parents, one moroi and one dhampir, Lexi is unfortunately used to arguments and silent treatments, as well as passive-aggressive relationships, though that doesn't mean it hurts her any less. Because of this, she long ago promised herself that she would never marry or have kids unless she wasn't 100% sure that she was completely and utterly in love with a guy.


She's never been at the top of her class, though now that she has just come back from a trip to Germany with her aunt in which she trained every day for three months, that may be about to change.
