St. Valdimir's Academy (Vampire Academy Non-Canon) - Welcome fellow Moroi and Dhampirs, to Vampire Academy

Deep inside the forests of Montana lies a boarding school called St. Vladimir's Academy, or more commonly known as Vampire Academy. This is where both Moroi and Dhampir guardian novices come to train. They are all part of a secret world, one filled with both good vampires and evil ones who crave power and immortality. Outside the charmed wards of the Academy lies many dangers for the Moroi and the Dhampir students, but inside they face equally dangerous challenges...

Lyea:

Lyea Davithson sighed as she made her way down the empty halls of the female's dormitory, the heels of her shoes making muffled clicks against the carpeted floor. The Summer holidays had passed by in a blur. And despite the lesser amount of days filled with clouds and light rain, the temperature in Montana remained about the same throughout the season. And while most people had returned to their homes or went on glamorous vacations to some supposedly exotic and marvelous tropical island over the Summer, Lyea (having nowhere to go) remained in the Academy, and spent her days alternating between daydreaming, wandering aimlessly around the school and training (though she got bored pretty quickly). Now that the greens of Summer finally decided to make way for the vibrant colors of Autumn, the new semester would be beginning today. And much to her relief, so would her social interaction with her peers, talking to herself wasn't exactly fun at all. Sure, she'd seen a few other of her classmates who had also decided to reside in the Academy for the Summer, but most of them were more than contented to leave her alone.

The soft glow of the waning Sun filtered through the minted glass of the tall Victorian windows that lined the hallway, making her auburn hair seemed flaming red. Her olive green eyes glinted as she watch the purple and blue ends of the sky devour the light of the evening as night slowly took over, stars already starting to appear at the borders. She grinned to herself, pretty soon the Sun would disappear behind the mountains and trees of Montana, and that's when the others would begin to arrive. St. Vladimir's Academy ran on a vampiric schedule, and classes start after the last ray of light disappears behind the clouds. Usually there'd be an assembly on the first day of a new school year, and apparently there'd be some changes in the syllabus this year. When she had asked Headmistress Giovanni about it, she vaguely mentioned something about " assigned partners", and that all would be explained during the assembly. The more Lyea pondered about it, the more curious she got. She finally shook her head to herself and shrugged, " Well, no use wondering about it now. I'll just have to wait and see what Ms G has to say."

On her way to the hall, she made a quick detour through the cafeteria, hoping to grab some sugary sweetness before she had too sit through possibly two hours of boring lecture. When she passed the Feeders Room, she didn't get a chance to peek in and see if any Moroi had decided to take a quick snack when someone walked out so abruptly she slammed into him. She quickly stepped back and held up her hands in a defensive position, only to realize that it wasn't some dangerous Strigoi. Instead, she found herself looking up at Ian Ozera's mildly annoyed expression. He gave her a flat look and walked off, heading towards the Hall. " Rude," she muttered, rubbing her nose which he had slammed into, " He could've at least apologized, prick...." She bought herself a candy bar and finished it in three bites, throwing the wrapper into the bin right before she exited the cafeteria. The great oak doors that led to the Hall were wide open, and she could see a few students already seated inside. She picked the spot with the best view and plopped herself down onto the wooden seat. A few Instructors were standing in a tight circle near the podium, and they seemed to be discussing some matters. Lyea arched her brow, could it be they were talking about this " special assignment"? Leaning back against the chair, she crossed one leg over the other and waited with a slight grin on her face. Well, I guess we'll find out once everyone gets here.

(I'll post Ian's later, and we'll wait until everyone arrives in the hall before the Headmistress makes her announcement)

@Britt-21 @Sarah @L u n a @Nuala @Karma200 @KrisiStar @Muffin~Tyrant , we're starting, and please find your assigned partners ASAP

Annabell Grey

Annabell had already been inside the school. She didnt have anyone to go back to, so she was here, sleeping as much as she could and training too. Before classes would start up again and have her getting her butt kicked. She heard about the Famous Rose Hathaway and Dimitri Belikov. Apparently now they're both guardians for Lissa Dragomir. People said that Annabell was like Rose in a way, but different too. Which made Anna smile every time. Being compared to the one and only Rose Hathaway. She got up from her bed and walked out of her dorm room, looking around for any newcomers. Anna had seen a few come in, they might have just went to the hall where everyone was going to meet.

"Well this is going to be a better year. New people, more training. Just my style." she said with a smile as she walked into the main building. All of a sudden she was slammed into someone and she automaticly was about to punch the dude till she realized it was Jake "Jake! What the hell man!" she laughed with him. He had the most amazing laugh sometimes "It's been forever since I saw you. How have you been lately?" she asked as she walked with him to the main hall

Jake Michaels

He had come home from a trip to his family's house. He had been gone and left his friend Annabell alone. He hated to do it, but he had to. He couldnt hang with his best friend till the new school year, which is what happened right now. He managed to get his bag to his dorm, and then he headed towards the hall, where he ran right into his Best Friend, Anna "Anna!" he laughed with her when she cursed. "I've been fine. Family has been normal. Bored without my best buddy though." he wrapped his arm around her "I know you were bored, wish I didnt have to leave you to die of bordom!" he chuckled and she laughed.

"Just like Rose hathaway. You know, im gonna start calling you 'Rose Hathaway the 2nd'" he grinned and he laughed with her once more 'Rose Hathaway the 2nd? Really?' she asked him with a grin on her face and he nodded still walking "Yup yup! And you're gonna deal with it." he was proud of his friend "Anyway, I heard there was a Strigoi attack at another bar. Seems as the strigoi arent very happy."

Alec: I walked around the school with my hands in my pockets. I had stayed at the school over the holidays like usual, being an orphan and all. I didn't care much about everybody at the school talked about. I just wanted to know who I would be assigned to. Heading out to where all the students were told to meet I entered the room then went to lean on the wall..

Shortly after I got out there I was joined by Henry Winchester, who was probably the most annoying person I had ever met. This boy never shut up about anything really, and have the words out of his mouth I didn't understand.. It was always something about Dhampir this Moroi that.. Something hate Strigoi.. If only I could get him to shut up..

Henry: I had just gotten back from visiting my family over the summer. Man it was good to be back I thought as I went up the steps to the school.. When I got inside the door I saw Alec Nietcov, one of the school's more permanent residents leaning against the wall so I went up to him.. "Hey man! How was your summer?" He ignored me as usual.. "Mine was great.. I met this Dhampir he was really cool he said his Moroi is a royal and that he had a partner.. Oh man now I remember his name.. It was Dimitri Belikov, he said his partner was someone who went to school here.. Rose something.. He also said he used to be a Strigoi. Can you believe that?! Everyone hates Strigoi..." And yet I was still being ignored..

Ian:

Ian Ozera sat in the courtyard, beneath the shade of an old oak. It was considered pretty early for a Moroi to already be up and fully dressed, but he liked watching the sunset for some reason. It made him feel...calmer, watching the Sun disappearing behind the clouds, its fire deminishing, giving way to the mysterious night. He exhaled as a breeze swept past him, ruffling his already-messy raven black hair. Smiling slightly, he sat back, resting his head against the tree trunk as he watched the light dip lower into the horizon. It feels good to be back.

During the Summer, his family as well as most of Christian Ozera's distant and close relatives were invited to Court. He never really knew Christian, being a distant cousin and all, but they met, and they talked. And Christian was, well, surprisingly nice. They mostly talked about St. Vladimir's and elemental combat, and he thought Christian was a pretty cool guy. And he noticed how that guy's face would light up whenever he was around Lissa-excuse him, Queen Vasilisa Dragomir.

Ian shook his head, bringing himself back to the present. The Sun had completely disappeared now, the stars burning in full flame. In that moment, he realized that he felt kind of hungry, so he got up and headed to the Feeders Room for a quick bite before the assembly. When he was done, he walked out of the room, only to slam into another person. The other person quickly stepped back and held up her hands in defensive position, and he looked down at her annoyed, not because that she had slammed into him, but because she'd probably thought he was threatening. That was when he realized that he was looking at Lyeanne Davithson, a novice guardian from one of his classes. That explains her reaction, most novice guardians were taught to always be on high alert. He relaxed his face slightly, but his expression remained emotionless. He'd heard of her "skill" to tell what others were thinking just by observing, and he thought it was kind of creepy (cool, but still creepy) that she could see into people's minds just by looking at their expressions and emotions. So instead he just turned and walked off towards the Hall. When he got there, he took a random seat and just sat down, waiting for the assembly to start.

Well, for starters, it was the end of summer break. And usually it wasn't such a good thing. Pretty much, anyone who never really liked to be at St. Vladmir's Academy would be burdened with all the seemingly-never-ending trainings and periods. But for Moroi and Dhampirs, like Corinth Ravendale, who were loyal enough to accept their fates and responsibilities, every day was another great day for strengthening themselves. As Corinth walked gracefully through the hallways heading to their Main Hall, she didn't mind the trouble of waving at and having small chats with fellow trainees and students. It's been years since she was here, and she knew better than to ignore and be cold. And plus, that was just the girl she is--amiable, friendly.

Summer wasn't so bad for her, because she'd learn a thing or two in her whole stay in this academy. She'd never really leave unless desperately needed, and ever since she's gone here, majority of her time was only for training, and sometimes for eating candy. It was nice to know that there were fellow students who chose to stay for the summer too, because Corinth never really liked being alone in doing something. Who would? Not her, totally.

Even if she was active here, she still wasn't so updated. All she heard around the school was someone named
Rose, and another named Dmitri. But she didn't really want to get in that mess. I know, four years and still haven't learned a thing about those things. She thought to herself. All she wanted was to focus on what she had to do. And for now, she had to at least grab a snack before once again, being inside the most boring place on earth, probably. Corinth calmly walked to the cafeteria to grab a little chocolate bar. Well, wasn't she the sweet tooth. In truth, she was. She totally loved, and almost adored sweets. She wouldn't go and live without one at least a day. A few minutes after doing so, she skipped gracefully into the Main Hall.

With a small sigh, Corinth went over to the Main Hall and noticed that a few others were here to listen to boring words once more. She was used to it, yes she was. But still, boredom couldn't be so cured, unless you were ready enough to buy a lot of sweets and eat them while behind others while the lecture was being conducted. She did it every time, ever since her first year of realization that these lectures aren't the best things you would hear.
"Well," Corinth muttered with a smile as she opened the wrapper of a candy bar gently and took a small bite. "I guess I should we should still wait. . ." She made a little pout while wondering who would her partner for whatever the superiors have been talking about was. And sometimes, she couldn't think but imagine if she would meet new people, teachers, and more.

Well at least, it used some time.

Dressed in her uniform with her blonde hair curled in perfect ringlets and pulled into a high ponytail leaving only two thick spirals to fall on either side of her eyebrows Yanelly would hurry towards the assembly. Although she had been up most of the early morning due to lack of sleep she had spent a lot of time doing her make up to hide the tired marks. Her heels would 'click click clack' as she was one of the last people to enter and the headmaster, teachers, and guardians up front with turn to look at her with disapproving shakes of the head. Usually Yanelly was on time but her nightmares had gotten worse over the summer. Wearing a bright smile she'd make her way over to other royal friends Molly,Kurt, or Lily.

She'd take a seat and begin fiddling with her plaid skirt out of habit. She enjoyed assemblies but they did take for ever and she was unsure about what this year held. She had heard of several strigoi attacks that had happened over break, which is why her family went and stayed in a populated Moroi area the whole time. There were way too many people for her, she'd had to get dressed up and shown off EVERY night and meet other royals and their son's because her father was already trying to marry her off. She'd sigh quietly in her seat and look up front to make sure she hadn't missed anything. Finding the dhampirs seated around her she'd long to be friends with them all the time, most of them seemed so real and fun, but one word back to her parents and her father'd have her home-schooled and alone.

(Are you guys still here xD I'm sorry about my absence! I'll continue posting soon. Meanwhile, interact people!)

His feet skidded on the floor, making a keen sound. Another year was beginning. He would feel okay, but the sweat and pink cheeks told otherwise. With nervousness, he pulled onto his aged blue shirt, and passed the wooden knife in his other hand, with a frown of concentration on his face, and stabbed the realistic looking dummy, deep in the chest, twisting it, until the plastic pulled apart. Drake slid it backwards and palmed it between his clammy hands, between saccaded breaths. Drake always was here, training early in the morning. No one was there to disturb him either. He licked his bottom lip and pushed the dummy back into the closet, putting the wooden knife in it with it. Walking towards his rag, he grabbed his water bottle with one hand and took a giant gulp. He had a long way to go before he could do one to the Strigoi. Even if he trained every day, it wouldn't be enough.

The ones he hated the most were the ones that thought that they could kill Strigoi. Killing Strigoi? They can't even properly handle the wooden blade they were given to fight with, and they think they can twist a blade into the heart of a cold ice killing machine? Drake coffed, spinning the cap on top of his water bottle.

He swung his rag over his shoulder, and walked into the hallway, kind of like a ghost, flicking his leather bracelet with impatience. He had to go to the assembly, the one that they held and that some skipped it, though he always diligently attended to them, even as weird he looked like right now, with a wet shirt and a messy hair. It wasn't bad enough that he had to return to his room and change, so he was fine.

Trying to find a familiar face in the crowd, Lexi rushed across the cafeteria leaving a faint trail of sweet lavender from her shampoo. Even though she had spent most of her life in VA, first days were still one of the things she dreaded the most right there next to spiders and onions. Shuddering from the mere thought of this elements, she quickly sat down in the first empty chair that came to her sight and tried not to notice how nice the other girls had dressed for the occasion. Her skinny jeans and band T-shirt specially paled in comparison to the moroi girl with blond ringlets and a bright smile sitting right next to her, she was dressed like she had just come from a photo shoot for Vogue whilst Lexi looked like she had just come from a punk concert. Classy.

Trying to avoid her not-so-happy thoughts, and with no familiar faces in sight, she decided to try the friendly approach. Lexi turned around so she could face the moroi girl and gave her a tentative smile. 'Hi, I'm Lexi, and I hate first days.'
