I've really gotten into spoken word poetry lately. Of course, I have nowhere to perform or the time or the poems prepared to do so... But I was wondering who all on here enjoyed it as much as I've (really, really recently) discovered that I do? I'm actually working on a piece right now, between my crazy university/academic life. I just didn't realize how much I enjoyed it until I watched this one TED Talk, where Sarah Kay was the host? This is the video I'm talking about, for the record. She opens with a poem called "If I Should Have A Daughter," and then commences to talk about spoken word. It's a great video. <img alt=" " data-emoticon="" height="20" src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=" " width="20" /> Anyway... any others out there? Surely there are a few. [media]
