Fantasy Spirit Animals

[Scheani]

Skye breathed out a sigh before slowly climbing down, her shoulders showing a hint of blood where the cats claws had dug into her flesh, but other than that her stance was that of someone who could take on the world- though on the inside she was cowering like a little kid in a thunderstorm. Lemur still clinging to her shoulders Skye scanned the area bright eyes narrowed into slits as she watched for movement, meanwhile the smaller jungle cat leaped silently down cowering closely by the girl eyes narrowed as its tail flicked in fear.

 

[Isune]

Darron adjusted himself on Amado's back as he began to gnaw on his bit of vines. Darron patted Amado and said,"Look alive Amado, she should be here any minute. When she comes, try to act more like a wild stallion." The horse nodded as he continued to pretend to drink.

[Calibutcher]

Amare saw that Skye had climbed down. He had to get her to move towards Darron and Amado. He called Scott over and asked him to get the tiger to get close but unseen and to growl at her. Scott nodded and ran off to do so. Shortly after the Tiger skunked pass Amare. Amare was terrified he did not even hear it come. It went towards Skye and let out a deep gurgling growl.

 

[Scheani]

"How convenient." She growled before sweeping her eyes around the area, landing on the area where they rested her eyes narrowed, though she could not see them she had her suspicions. She frowned before taking off towards the stream, feeling much more like a sheep being herded than a spirit animal searcher, she glanced down at the cat as it stuck by her like she could do anything, "I'm not magic.." She muttered before she broke the area, seeing a man on a rather uncomfortable horse.

[Isune]

Darron saw the new girl and quickly pulled back on his reigns to make a already angry Amado turn around. Amado continued to gnaw on his reigns as Darron looked at the girl and said,"I see you have some companions with you. Who might you be?" Amado remained silent and would occasionally shake his head with the hope that the reigns would fall out.

 

[Scheani]

Pausing before answering she shook her head, "Skye, And you are?" She asked her legs sore from the slap of the plants against them she sat as she waited for the man to answer, rolling down her jeans so her legs would be no longer battered from the harsh wildlife in the forest- need she return. The Borneo cat appeared nervous, while the Lemur shifted from her back to her shoulder, resting hits arms on her head.

 

[Isune]

"My name isn't important as of now. I'm mostly concerned about your two companions Skye. You're looking for your spirit animal, am I correct?" He then rode closer to her and began to examine both the lemar and the large cat.

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare watched Skye run off. Then waited a moment longer after she was out of sight then began moving after her. He took his time moving through the brush. Keeping quiet and staying low. He watched his active camo warp to the surroundings. It was rather mesmerizing then he heard voices. It was Darron and Skye. Amare crouched low and watched the two communicate.

 

[Scheani]

"Okay My-name-isn't-important-as-of-now, you are correct. But what can you do- or are you planning to do to help me?" She asked almost feeling the need to press a soothing hand to the backs of the still startled creatures as all of then tensed a little when the man began to ride closer.

 

[Isune]

"Well although I, myself have never had a spirit animal I do know the process of getting one." Said Darron as he made Amado stop with a tug of the reigns. He then looked at the girl and said,"We can do it know if you desire."

 

[Scheani]

Skye paused, looking the man over, then the horse, "How would you know?" She asked her head tilted to the side ever so slightly her slim eyebrow raised in suspicion. "I mean, its not a secret, but its not something those without will know or come to know easily." She said her eyes narrowing slightly at the man, though who could blame her, she was in an important process- she didn't want to mess up.

 

[Isune]

Darron smiled as he hopped off of Amado's back and merely said,"Because I'm a spirit walker and that horse is my spirit animal. My name is Darron and I'll be helping you with the final step of getting your spirit animal." Amado finally was able to spit out his reigns as he said,"That is correct young Skye."

 

[Scheani]

Nodding slowly Skye stood brushing off the seat of her pants, "So.. How- I mean how are you going to help me?" She asked aloud, though it became apparent that she was more asking herself than the man before her.

 

[Isune]

Darron suddenly became serious as he walked over to Skye and said,"I want you to listen very closely. I want you to turn and face each of your spirit animals and tell them if they're okay with being in danger. One should respond yes while the other leaves. The one who stays is your true spirit animal. Please do it now."

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare stood up turned off the active camo and walked towards Skye. "We have to see how you and your animals react to challenges" Scott came out followed by the Tiger and the other fox. "You were never in any real danger but we needed to see how you all react to danger. Now the next thing is. Have you talked to either of your animals?"


 
"Actually just do what he said"

 

[Scheani]

About to answer Amare Skye simply shook her head before turning to the cat, and de-tangling the Lemur from her hair before setting it near the cat while far enough both could be considered comfortable. Taking a deep breath she bit her lip before asking the question that made her nervous of their answers. "Will you.. Will you be fine with staying by my side- even if that means your life is in danger?" She whispered though her voice was loud enough for her to be heard by the two creatures.


The Cat's ears lie flat on his head as it backed away, letting a pang fill her chest Skye nodded a sad feeling filling her before it was replaced by shock- though she shouldn't have been when the Lemur called out, "Yes." In a shockingly sassy voice. Biting back laughter at the odd sounding creature she watched as the cat vanished through the brush, though it was quite normal, she found it feeling like a friend rejecting years of friendship- rather than a minutes journey of terror.

 

[Calibutcher]

"Very well. Now he needs a name." Amare looked at the leamur. He too was a little suprised by the way of spoke but did not show it.

 

[Scheani]

Lifting her head to look at Amare she frowned slightly, "You mean we name them?" She asked as the Lemur crawled back up her arms huffing about humans and insecurities of a shallow death.

 

[Calibutcher]

"Sometimes though they might name themselves. By any means you've got to know what to call him." Amare was slightly taken aback at the leamurs comments of human insecurities. Scott looked at the leamur quizzically as well.

 

[Isune]

Darron watched closely as Skye bonded with the lemar. He smiled as he elbowed Amado slightly and said,"You might have a new rider now." Amado let out a angered snort as he jabbed Darron with his hoof. Darron chuckled as he sat down next to Skye and said,"hopefully this bond goes well."

 

[Scheani]

Skye smiled nervously at Darron, before looking at the Lemur who'm was currently making her hair some sort of mess, "Do you have a name?" She asked before the Lemur blinked looking up at her as though he had been startled, "Well no.. Not exactly." He muttered before Skye bit her lip, not wanting to mess up what she was going to call him, "Pick a number from 1-6." She grinned, though it is quite odd, she found a name quite a difficult thing to think of.


3 had been his answer, so Skye turned to Amare and Darron, "His name is Damien." She grinned, the Lemur nodding as though he knew all along.

 

[Calibutcher]

"You picked a name from a number? Well that works." Amare looked at the new pair. A perfect fit he thought. He looked at Scott who was tipping for Velleth to come back. Amare focused up. "We are gonna need to get back to the Spirit voyager and meet up with the others." Velleth arrived shortly and crouched so we can get on. Velleth suggested that he would carry Amado in his claws if he was ok with that.

 

[Isune]

Darron smiled as he looked at Damien and said,"Hi Damien, I'm Darron and that massive stallion over there is my spirit animal, Amado. A word of advice to you, don't try to ride him without consent, otherwise you'll end up getting crushed. You can ride Scott the fox instead." Darron began to laugh as he looked at Scott and then at skye as he said,"Congrats on the new spirit animal." he then saw the dragon and said,"Aw, i wanted to see a lemar ride a robo fox." Amado nodded silently as he waited to be picked up and Darron carefully got on the dragons back.

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare jumped up on Velleth Scott clambering after him. "If that leamur rides me he best prepare for a bumpy ride. Robo fox is not the most comfortable."

 

[Scheani]

Skye followed suit, as she watched the dragon who was previously silent speak, Damien wove his way around her hair wrapping his arms around her neck, perched on her shoulder his red fur fluffed out slightly at the thought of riding either of the animals, "I don't know why I would do such a thing.." He pondered his tail swinging back and forth over Skye's chest before it came to rest over her collar bone's like a fluffy scarf.


Skye laughed lightly as she listened in, "I think he would be more likely to torment any of you before he resorts to them."
